Excellent, authentic Mexican cuisine! The restaurant itself is typical of smaller family oriented ethnic places- nothing fancy- just comfortable, clean, and decorated true to their heritage. Our waiter was very accommodating. I ordered the combination tamale, enchilada, and taco plate. The tamale was obviously homemade and just delicious. I asked for verde sauce on the enchilada with chicken, and it was prepared perfectly. The taco was very good, in a crunchy corn shell that became slightly soft towards the base after a few minutes from the juicy beef inside (which I love). HUGE portion of food, and even the refried beans and rice were very tasty. Hubby ordered the steak fajitas, and was pleased to see a generous portion of steak and sizzling veggies served. He even had some left to take home, which was a nice surprise- many times a place will not provide much steak to veggies and he runs out of meat. Not here, it was perfect. And, the house-made Hot Sauce is fabulous! Reminds me a bit of La Bambas (which was always my favorite). We would love to dine here again!

We ordered take out and it was horrible. Also, my parents recently had a bad experience and will never go back. I ordered the macho junior with chicken and it was floating in water when we got it home. The tacos we ordered were mush and when we called to complain we were told that is how the shells get when you get take out...however, Ive gotten take out from taco bell and their shells are not soggy...so whats mazatlans REAL excuse? The customer service is awful. They did nothing to want to help us out or even cared for that matter. Anyone who writes a good review must be related to the owner or someone that works there.

I am a popular youtube food reviewer and a vegetarian. My wife and I went in for lunch. I got the veggie fajitas and wifey got a enchiladas and taco. The chips and salsa were 5 out of 5. Wifey loved her meal and my fajitas were to die for. Best fajitas I have had veggie style. When you add the guacamole, that said salsa, rice and sour cream, it combines into an unbelievable masterpiece of flavors.

Im from the Twin Cities, MN and I have never had beans this good in my life. If you live in Fond Du Lac or close by and youre not eating here, youre taking this place for granted! The rice was soft and yummy! The shrimp tacos were perfectly seasoned and the cilantro was so fresh! I wish we had some place this good near the cities! So delicious, Ill come back everytime I travel here for sure!

Worst Mexican food Ive ever had. There are much nicer places in town. Dont waste your money. The flavor of the pollo con mole was reminiscent of licking paper. Taco Bell would have been the more savory and cheaper of the two. Dont get me started on the tacos we were served. Again, Taco Bell would have been a safer choice. To top that off, the waitress was extremely rude and unattentive.

I Ordered 3 Tacos, They came Wrapped 2 Upside Down & One To the Side, Everything Was Everywhere & Came Out Of The Tacos While Removing Them From The Foil. When I Called I Was Told " OK So what Do You Want Me To Do About It" After I Specifically Asked For Them NOT To Wrap Them That Way When I Placed My Order Because This Has Happened Before. I Will NOT Be Here Again!!

The restaurants is very cute with the curved arches and bright colors. The food is traditional tex-mex food. There tamale was well done with shredded pork inside. The meals are large and they all have rice and refried beans. The restaurant has a lot of seating and is very kid friendly. The prices are on the inexpensive side and so it is a good lunch meal.

Not impressed. Rice and beans was the best but the cheese dip was not. We ordered a large cheese dip plus we had dip on the table and she brings you a small basket of chips that clearly would not be enough. They charge you for more chips. I travel for a living and i eat a lot of mexican food and it was not the worst but i dont care to go back

We used to eat here regularly. Began avoiding it due to poor quality food and recipe changes. Finally had the last straw when $30 worth of takeout when right into the trash. When I called to alert them to quality issues, the manager argued with me indicating that it is not possible to have takeout that doesnt suck, then hung up on me.

Went there for the first time today. Before I ordered I used the restroom where I saw a cockroach crawling up the wall next to me. How does the saying go? For every cockroach you see, there are a thousand more that you dont. I will never go there again. Food could be good, but I walked out.

I have been going to Mazatlan for years now. The food is delicious! The servers are friendly and you get your food within minutes of ordering. I would say this is the best mexican food in the area.
