Well I want to start by saying that the staff and the food are good, but their manager is really something else. Im not sure if she is bipolar or what but I will never return because of this reason. Thank God the Acoustic Cafe in Menomonie is different ownership because at least I can still enjoy that establishment. I had a small issue with my food, and upon talking to the manager about it (in a calm manner) I got screamed at and told that she doesnt need my business anyways. Her name is Layla Martin, and upon being curious I looked the woman up on Wisconsins CCAP site and must say I really was not surprised by what I saw; felonies for theft from businesses so Im not even sure why the owners are still employing this woman. I would say this message is more for the owners to see because I would highly recommend that they take another look at the type of person they have representing their business...

Great service and food, excellent place to study or listen to live music. Very popular place for students from UWEC. You do need to make a purchase before you are able to used bathrooms and wifi however; there is a keypad lock on the bathrooms doors and a wifi password which are only given to you on your receipt. They take discover for purchases under 5$; many small coffee shops dont allow card purchases unless your purchase is a certain amount, and many small businesses in general are beginning to stop using discover due to high transaction fees with that card carrier. Can get very crowded on weekdays during the day and certain days in the afternoon/evening.

I have eaten here many times but today was the first day I took it to go. As I was waiting for my lunch, I watched the lady prepare it. I was completely appalled to see she wasnt wearing any gloves! Isnt that an industry standard? Health code violation? They do at Subway, Erberts & Gerberts, and Burrachos. Touching the bread with her BARE HANDS, digging in the lettuce and yellow peppers, etc. GROSS! The food and atmosphere are great, but Ill think twice about going back!

I have always loved acoustic cafe until today. I stopped in to buy an ice cream cone and they had my favorite flavor. Or so I thought based on the sign. Unfortunately the sign was wrong. I called back to the restaurant to let them know that the sign was wrong and was treated very rudely on the phone and no offer to make it right was extended. It left a bad taste in my mouth...twice.

Great place in downtown for sandwiches, soups, coffee and much more. The atmosphere is comfortable and relaxing with WiFi and plenty of seating. Music is usually on the Thursday thru Saturday nights depending on the week. The staff is very friendly and quick to take to your order and prepare your food/drinks. Definitely will be coming back soon.

Ive loved going here ever since it opened. Even had my first cappuchino at this establishment (also one of my last, Im a black coffee guy so its nothing against this place). The sandwiches are where its really at, though. Give me a combo sandwich and Im a happy man. It can be a nice spot to just chill and listen to some local music as well.

Great atmosphere. Coffee was wonderful, staff friendly, restrooms were clean and had a punch code to get in (loved that!). Band that played sounded great and they were friendly. A definite must stop by on my list of things to do next time I am in Eau Claire, WI

Looking for a local place to eat lunch off I-94 and found this gem in Eau Claire. Tasty sandwiches and homemade soups. The Chai Latte was yummy, too. Pleasant and helpful staff. Take time to venture into town for this place.

The atemosphere was great and great coffee also! I had the turtle mocha and it was great! I also had a chocolate chip cookie that is made in house that wasnt as good but once it was dipped in my coffee it was phenomenal!

I dont like the way they treat OUR homeless I was setting in there one day and a man ask to use the restroom and just because he could not afford a 5 dollar cup of coffee he had to piss ON the place instead of in it

Great atmosphere with live music many days of the week! They have a great variety of acts as well. The food and coffee are fantastic, but the atmosphere makes this place worth spending long periods of time in.

Id give it 5 stars if it werent so loud in there when there is live music. I bet Ive eaten 500+ turkey sandwiches from Acoustic Cafe. One of the best sandwiches around! Soups are good too
