Small botique gourmet food, wine, and spirits store. They roast their own coffee and discount old coffee when they are brewing new versions of the same. Also have coffee grinders that offer an actual french press setting. Perfect for finding gourmet spices and foods like cheese and meats as well as shelves upon shelved of wines and liqures. Great little sandwich and soup selections most of which are quite good. The new K project brewery is awesome. They have a wide selection of fantastic classic beers. Perfect for those who like non traditional germanic beer but not the wacky over the top beers. There is a quite large selection of great cigars in their humidor as well as smoking items such as actual cigar ash trays, butane torches, and cigar cases. If yoi ask you can also sign up to order flahs frozen seafood such as tuna, salmon, shrimp, etc. They also have a great selection of cookware that any good chef would appreciate. If youre looking for anything a little odd or hard to find check this place first. If they dont have it Im sure theyll find it.

This review is solely regarding purchasing coffee for home brewing: They need to calibrate the coffee grinders. I ran my $12 pound of coffee through the grinder set for french press and now I get to enjoy bitter, sludgy coffee because the grind was WAY too fine. I ran some of the same coffee through the flavored coffee grinder and it came out much more coarse, as it should for french press grind. When I asked the staff how often they calibrate the grinders they were totally clueless that you even COULD calibrate the machine... Their solution to the improper grind? "You could just buy your own grinder and grind it at home"...really? Should I have to!? Considering that grind is one of the most important factors in brewing a good cup of coffee, I find the staffs lack of knowledge about this to be a huge disappointment in a place that markets itself as the best coffee in the Chippewa Valley. I wont be wasting any more money on purchasing coffee for home brewing from The Coffee Grounds.

Great place to find all my creature comforts in one place! Coffees are brewed to perfection, including quality preparation of specialty coffee beverages. Tremendous assortment of fresh-roasted coffee - will grind to your preference if you wish. A cooks dream with quality kitchen gadgets and cookware that is difficult to find in this area. Menu is largely sandwiches, soups, and salads, but everything tastes fresh and from scratch. Smaller selection of cheeses and local meats, but quality over quantity. They even have sinfully decadent chocolate truffles (yum!!!). Might be the best assortment of wines and craft beers (including now their own brews) in the area, at least of the stuff I like to drink. The atmosphere is a little feel of "warehouse" and could benefit from more "living room" feel, but not uncomfortable at all. Outdoor seating is provided when the weather is decent. All in all, a great establishment to hang out with friends.

still not my favorite coffee in the valley (which would have to be the 4:30 in Chippewa Falls. While roasted on site, the roaster likes it either lite roast or burnt roast - nothing choclately brown, all nice and oily. As such, most of the roasts are best drunk without half and half (my fav) or you have to pony up for the shot of espresso to give it enough heft to hold up to the cream. Food is ok - sandwiches fair, soups good, muffins and scones good. WiFi is a pain - three people here online and it is so slow I have to downgrade to Gmail dial up option. For a coffee shop - just average. However, they do have the areas best selection of wine and beer, and a decent selection of cigars.

Little bit of every thing COOL, Local brews available in Growlers, Great selection of Wines and Spices as well as a great latte! Dont let the owner know you dont know anything about wine though, he turns into a bit of a pretentious d**k and wrecks the experience at the way COOL store.....

What a great find! Conveniently located a few minutes off the highway, this place has great coffee, a wonderful selection of micro beers, and a walk - in humidor for cigar lovers. All the essentials under one roof! The environment and staff are also fantastic.

The old place had a great beer selection. The new one isnt much better than a gas station. I had a cup of coffee at 2pm that had obviously been sitting in the thermos several hours. I would have expected better.

Brewery was closed and they still got me one beer. Above and beyond customer service. Great selection of wine, beer, and food. Have been coming here for a while but today they made my day and I thank you

O... M... G... This place smells amazing! Coffee can get pricy and last few times I got a 24oz coffee when I pour it into my 24oz Contigo its clearly not 24 ounces. But, overall I like it.

It was dingy inside, with more pub style tables than normal. The coffee was average, not much flavor. The sandwiches were just okay. Service was slow, and tables dirty.

Great coffee. Decent beer selection, check expire dates. Nice wine selection. Kinda crowded, obstacle course to get to counter to order. The coffee though, delicious.

I cant tell if this place is a kitchen supplies store, a grocery store, a liquor store or a coffee shop. Good cofee but terrible layout. Pick something!

Good stop on the way from Twin Cities to Chicago. Good coffee and the soup we had was good too. Its a little bit like sipping coffee in a liquor store.
