Repeat customer for 1 year that is finally done with this place. To their credit, the staff has usually been courteous. The food served has consistently matched our order. Ive never had a mistake on my recurring special request for no tomatoes on my burger. But at other times, the place is plagued by gross incompetence that defies belief. They were completely out of chocolate ice cream for multiple consecutive trips over a few weeks. They have stated in person at the register that they no longer offer the $5 lunch deal all day, but havent been bothered to take down the signs falsely advertising the all-day deal for weeks. And today, I couldnt get them to understand their own coupon. I had a buy-1-Blizzard-get-1-for-$0.99 coupon, for which I tried to purchase a medium Blizzard and get a smaller mini for $0.99. The cashier instead first charged it as a $1.00 discount instead of a $0.99 purchase price. When I asked her to review the coupon, she reread and said the coupon didnt apply because I didnt order the same size, as the purchased Blizzard needed to be "of equal or greater value" (doesnt a medium apply?). Continuing the argument, the manager finally weighed in, and against all expectations said he believed the $0.99 Blizzard needed to be the one "of equal or greater value." He finally concluded that while I purchased a mini, I could have purchased a large for $0.99, but the coupon didnt apply because I had only purchased a medium (?!?!?). At that point in the conversation, logic was clearly out the window, my family was still waiting, the Blizzards were already served and melting, and so I just left the argument in complete frustration. If management wants to argue with a repeat customer and Blizzard Fan Club member over a matter of $1.40, Ill be happy to take my family elsewhere. I wont bother returning until I see a large banner outside the store advertising, "Under New Management."

Been here multiple times. Normally I get what I order, while the staff isnt normally super friendly, Ive never had any issues till this weekend. Was out running errands and grabbed lunch on my way home. When the employee handed me the bag, he said my chili dog and fries were in the bag. Got home and there were no fries. Ok, everyone makes mistakes. I dont want to go back cause its about a 10 mile drive. So I call them to see about getting a refund - no answer. Ok, Ill swing by after work the next day (cause I work right by the DQ) and get a refund (I saved my receipt). Employee wont give me a refund because its been over 24 hours. He repeatedly offers to give me an order of fries (um... I wanted fries the day before, not then). No apology or anything, just repeatedly tells me its been over 24 hours and he can give me fries or something of equal value. I was asked if I called and I said I did, but no one answered - not even a machine. (No explanation of why no one answered.) Manager finally comes over, and basically says all the same things (again, no apology). Eventually the manager gave me a voucher for the amount. The whole time I felt like everyone thought I was lying and was there to con them out of money. The fries were $2.29 (and werent even the most expensive thing that I ordered that day!). Generally speaking, its probably worth just believing the customer and refunding the $2.29... I dont think anyone is going to go to all this effort to con a restaurant for $2.29.

I used to live in Redmond where the DQ was always a great experience, but the one here in Woodinville awful. I ordered a large Blizzard the other night via the drive through, when I got to the window she tried to hand me a cup that had half an inch of blizzard over the top of the rim of the cup. I asked for a lid, and rather than give me the tall lids that they use she took a spoon and scraped off the extra blizzard and then put a standard lid on. When I asked why she threw away some of my food right in front of me she replied in a very snotty voice "you only paid for this much" motioning to the top of the cup. On another visit I got the shrimp basket and I swear there couldnt have been more than 15 little popcorn shrimp in there. This place is cheap, skimps on portions, and throws your food away in front of you rather than acknowledging that you might not want ice cream spilling in your vehicle. That in itself is a nuisance, but couple that with the fact that not once has a staff member ever smiled at me, asked how I was doing, or thanked me for my order and Im tempted to take the trip down Avondale when Im in the mood for DQ in the future, the one here in Woodinville is just that bad.

Recently had a coworker go here to get me a large blizzard which i said was around 4 bucks, and he ordered a blizzard for me and food for himself. He ordered for us, drove up, and when he reiterated my order specificly (I order picky) and told him how id like my blizzard, the man making my food said "Well this is how he is getting it". And then gave him a small blizzard. He returned to me with a small in hand, and still all the extra stuff he specifically asked not for. I called and asked for the manager and he said he was. I then asked who made my blizzard he said himself. I wasnt very happy, for how can a manager say such a thing to the customers, and makes me wonder about all the customers that he has helped. I told him how i felt about it, and what my coworker had said he said, and all he gave me was "Is there anything else i can help you with?" I said no very dissatisfied, and he hung up. Never again, ive been to this one before this time, and its been very similar. The people arent happy, they dont care about anyone, and they make me, personally, fell unwelcomed everytime i have been there or have someone else go. I will make sure to never recommend this place to anyone.

The Woodinville Dairy Queen may be under new ownership... their service was if-y before but now they are Horrible. They are currently offering a "happy hour" 1/2 price 2-4pm, but they shut it off at 3:58 while your in line to order. So if your stuck in line with a car full of soccer players... TUFF. The owner walks out and tells you in person NO WAY! Its 4:00. If you have kids screaming - TUFF shell threaten you and ask for your name - I guess you end up on the DQ most wanted for complaining?? I wouldnt go there... there is a Dairy Queen in Thrashers -hopefully its not the same owner!!!

The owners are so rude and have no idea what customer service is. First I had to wait to order while the owner finished vacuuming right in front of me even to the point of asking me to move. Then while we were eating they shut the lights off on us. When I tried to explain that this was all very rude I was laughed at and told we are closed. They closed at 10pm and its now 10:09 and I have been writing for a few minuets. Dont support this place! Make them run out of business and show them that respect to there customers goes a long way.
