Deceptive service and Groupon was an absolute rip off. Please note that I dont use one star reviews often, if ever. We had a group with 6 adults and four kids aged 12-15. When we arrived the waitress went straight to the kids and asked them if they wanted sparkling water with no mention of charging for it, which is a premium charge. No mention of price at all, next thing you know we glance down at their end of the table and the seal on the bottle is broken and the $10 water is now ours. Frustrating, but whatever. We had purchased 10 Groupons months ago and the bill came. Once it came they then told us that we could only use one Groupon per table, not group, not check, but table. Essentially saying that we could only use one Groupon because we sat together as a family. They were polite about it, but I still feel like I was totally scammed. The funny thing is that we were going out of our way to order desserts and the like so that we were not those people just using the bare bones coupon. Bill comes and it is just shy of 1K because they rejected all but one Groupon. I talked to the manager and she just said it was a system limitation, but it really felt like I was set up by this place for a con job. The manager even said that this happens with the Groupon all the time and lots of people get mad because they feel it is deceiving If that is the case, why would you not fix it? Paid the bill and now I am stuck with leftover Groupons that I have no desire to use. I have been to many Brazilian steakhouses, and the food was good, but much more limited than others I went to. I think we saw maybe 6 variations of meat all night. We were seated in the back room and felt pretty much ignored by the waiters all night as they were busy serving the main room. Ok food, way under par for what a Brazilian steakhouse should be as far as selection is concerned, and absolutely deceptive and shady business practices. The Groupon ends up being basically just a prepaid credit on your bill, but they purposely make it next to impossible to actually utilize.

Before you come, make sure that you are HUNGRY to the point that you are HANGRY and about to go on tilt because there is a lot of yummy MEAT :) I have been here a few times and the most recent time I came I had a Groupon. I made a reservation and gave them a heads up. They were accommodating and were able to find an opening easily. The way it works is that you sit down and you have a button/coaster that has a green and red side, where red means you are weak and green means you want more meat. They bring the meats to you and cut off a piece. You can also request specific ones and they will bring them over. There is also a salad bar, but thats just a trap :p The meats are good and tasty, they can carve off diff temps to your liking. The mixed drinks are also good and help to cut the meat galore. Service and staff are very nice and courteous. My main issue is the cost, even with the Groupon I felt that it was a bit overpriced for dinner. I will have to come back for lunch and compare. Even at the high cost I still recommend to come try at least once.

Amazing food and great friendly service. Weve been to other rodizio places and this was by far the best. The "salad bar" was so much more than that. In fact one whole star is just for the fact that theres a bowl of delicious bacon there - not bits. I was surprised to see that in addition to rice (try the broccoli rice, its incredible), beans, and potatoes there was also tilapia, stuffed meatballs, risotto and much more. And we havent even gotten to the best part: the MEAT! The friendly passadores come by with a parade of high quality meats and they arent stingy with the slices. While Im usually a beef lover, their parmesan pork is a star. We couldnt stop talking about it, even the next day. Yes its costly, but its not just a buffet. The rodizio experience combined with amazing food and the quality of the meats makes it well worth it!

We went for Seattle restaurant week. My boss and co-worker told us it was worth checking out. They have a unique style for WA. My boyfriend was not impressed with food. He thought the service was okay. I, the pickier eater, didnt mind the delicate or light flavors, but I also didnt eat the same food he did. The service on the other hand was lacking. My boyfriend thought it was okay, I was unimpressed. But El Gauchos. in Bellevue, service may have sent the bar rather high. At the same time, even with the Seattle restaurant week discounts, our bill still came to past $100, so I guess we could put it in the same category as El Gaucho, but Novilhos was a disappointment in comparison. In my opinion- Worth checking out- ONLY during Seattle restaurant week and if you only drink water. Or if someone is treating you to it. We do not plan to go back.

No Stars!!!! My parents had reservations for my Mothers birthday and when they arrived there was a sign on the door "Closed for Repairs" I understand if things broke..but to not call your reservation list and apologize and just let people drive and show up dressed and ready for a nice dinner without a courtesy call..TERRIBLE!!.. I heard they were closed due to Health Code Violations. Not sure about that.. but it makes sense as good restaurateurs wouldnt leave their clientele standing at the locked doors like they did to my parents and the all the others that drove there only to be disappointed as well. Go somewhere that wants and appreciates your business.

Went here for my birthday a couple years ago. my first experience was amazing. I wanted to share the experience I had the first time with my husband and family but the service was disappointing. The server was rude because we didnt order alcohol and wanted us to order dessert even though I had brought in my birthday cake. Such a disappointment. And when I called to complete the next day the manager said he would send me something in the mail so we can give it another try but never received anything. Not worth the money if the service is that horrible. My mom, brothers and husband were super excited after I talked about the place for weeks.

I thought the grill meat selection was good but I personally preferred the beef choices over the other meats. The fried chicken was pretty good but the lamb was to medium for me. They also have a chorizo type sausage which was tasty. If you are a steak lover, you might not be able to load up here because you have to wait for the beef runners to come around and you are only getting slices and morsels. Also, there is a large side dish buffet line; I tried the risotto, roasted beets, and broccolini. The rotation of the servers was efficient on this busy Wednesday night. Overall an enjoyable meal. I passed on the dessert.
