So much more than good freshly prepared food. Its an extraordinary experience. We had a large party and the menu was going to be a challenge. Caleb, discussed the choices, then put us all at ease when he said we could opt to fold our menus, sit back and have him select some favorite dishes. What a ride. The Pad Thai was a table side education for us all and the Curry as good as it gets. Authentic ambiance made us forget we were on an island in the puget sound. Everything in the place came from Thailand, hand-picked by May. Its apparent May and her partner Tom hold high standards in selecting their friendly, outgoing and enjoyable staff. We couldnt have been more pleased in our choice.

Wow. What an incredible experience. My husband and I were blown away by our top notch service and the quality of food we were served tonight. Shane and Jacob went above and beyond to take good care of us while we dined and really made our experience on Vashon one to remember. Their attention to detail was impeccable. One of the best, if not THE BEST Thai experiences we have ever had! We already are planning our next visit and are excited to introduce our friends and family to this restaurant! The Phad Thai is crazy good along with the other dishes we ordered. You truly wont be disappointed!!!

Reservations are a MUST. This place is a favorite among locals and Seattle visitors who want to travel for the best Thai food in the area. We always get the Green Curry which is simply divine. We also get an appetizer that is made of lightly fried watercress dipped in coconut. We have come here so many times, but one of the most recent times was truly spectacular. It was for my boyfriends birthday. They brought us all champagne (on the house), and then put a candle in his (free) birthday dessert - fried bananas and ice cream! If we could, we would go ever single day.

We came for a hike but Thai food was a must. Thankfully we were told to be there right when they open because without a reservation it can be a wait. We were the first ones through the door and were sat at the bar due to the fact we had to rush to catch a ferry. They were so accommodating, friendly and the phad Thai was a whole other level. I cant wait to go back (with a reservation of course) and see it prepared table side and try some of their other dishes.

My wife Kathleen and I celebrated our 27th wedding anniversary last night at your restaurant. The intimate seating was excellent, the service was efficient and caringly delivered. The extra touch of the flowers being delivered to our table was quite romantic. The Open Table rating of your being one of the Top Ten Thai restaurants in the country was proven to be well deserved again last night. We have dined there before and we will dine there again! Delicious Thai food and creative drinks. The staff is so attentive and friendly. We held our wedding rehearsal here and it was simply amazing. They created a menu of easy bites and a great buffet of various options. They took the time to talk to us about what we were envisioning and even opened the restaurant early to hold our event! At times difficult to contact since they are so popular. The kabocha squash curry is my all time favorite!

Reservations highly recommended as this cozy spot is very busy. We were told an hour wait the first night we attempted to get in. Left and made reservations for following evening. We got right in that night but 2 gentlemen without reservations were told it would be 45 minutes. Dress lightly as it is plenty warm here. Food was tasty. Service very good.

What an incredible experience dinning at May Kitchen. The food was delicious. The atmosphere and decor were lovely and the staff was reminiscent of what dinning out used to be. A hidden gem (literally) on Vashon Island. Will definitely be back. Maybe you should provide a shuttle from the ferry dock. LOL. Thanks for a fabulous night.

Great place and the best fresh rolls and tamarind dipping sauce Ive ever had! Other dishes were good but perhaps a little over seasoned. The flavors were strong and the fish sauce seemed to overpower at times. Loved the phad Thai presentation. Everything was beautifully plated as well. Also, best cloth napkins ever.

Fresh ingrediants and innovative flavors brought to traditional recipes make this perhaps one of Vashons best kept secrets. Friendly staff and casual dining bring a homey atmosphere to this five star restaurant. Well worth the trip to the island and a good finale to a day of Artwalk and antique shopping.

Eight open seats at the bar and we were turned away because everything was reserved...? We told her we were there for just one drink and she said maybe they would let us stand by the bar...?!? Terrible customer service!!! Cant imagine why you would give this place your money.

They have the best cocktails in town, as well as, beautifully displayed authentic Thai food. Its some of the best Thai food you can get in all of Seattle. Make your reservations early because they fill up fast.

Delicious Thai food! The spring rolls and pad Thai are a hit. The Blue people tea is amazing. Cant go wrong at this spot. Make sure you make a reservation!
