If I could give this place no stars I would. We finally decided to try this place out as we live close and were very unhappy we did. First, we ordered two beers, a fat tire and a windmer. The server brings out our beers and a glass, stating she only has one cold one and then asks if I want a warm glass. Who wants a warm glass for their cold beer? Oh the beer? They both came out room temperature, not even slightly cold, like they had just been sitting in the kitchen. We order the salad rolls as an app and my bf gets the pad Thai and I order some other dish Id never had before (It was gross). His pad Thai was okay, but wed had better pad Thai from food carts downtown. My food didnt arrive until after my boyfriend had already eaten his, and the server never came by after dropping off his food to tell me where the hell my food was. 15 minutes later I get my food and it sucks. Still no appetizer. At this point we are done with this place. We go and try to pay and leave only to find out that the salad rolls we never received were on the bill. We asked the server to take them off, but she said she couldnt without the managers approval and that it will be a few minutes. Over 20 minutes later we finally, with lots of prodding, get to pay and get the f out of their. Basically, if you like warm beer, never receiving part of your order, crappy service (even when theyre slow), sub-par food, and waiting over 20 minutes to have a manager fix your bill, then come here, youll love it!

Thai Orchid is one of the things I miss about Oregon. Im not saying its a "Must Visit" restaurant if youre just passing through the area, but I have never had a bad encounter there and the food is outstanding. The wait time for the food is a little on the longer side I guess, but a sacrifice Im very willing to make for this place. My favorite is their Khao Soi curry noodles with the egg noodles on top. Just amazing. Ive never tasted anything like it. The Pad Thai is outstanding too. I havent tried anything else. Mostly because these two dishes are so good, I cant bring myself to order anything else.

Tried calling in an order for over 30 minutes (over 60 calls) but their phone was off the hook. Went to the location and stood there for 10 minutes before I was asked if I wanted to place a to-go order - I said yes, then she walked away from me, went in and out of the kitchen for another 10 minutes before asking me if I still wanted to order and wait 30+ minutes for my order to be ready... I declined and went elsewhere. This isnt the first time I have waited far too long for service at this specific establishment either. Very poorly staffed.

I work in the area near this Thai Orchid and today marked the 2nd time in a row ive tried to call and place an order for pickup and NO ONE has answered the phone. I was patient and let it ring about 15 times before i gave up, waited 5 minutes, and tried to call back again. Since they didnt answer i decided to drive down the road and get some fast food and as i drive by their location can clearly see the red and blue neon signs stating that they are open. Their food overall has been good in the past but FFS, answer your damn phone!

So disappointed with this restaurant. We used to go to another location regularly, but this one just doesnt seem to have it right. The pad thai had very little pad thai flavor, the curry was bland and the curry to coconut ratio wasnt right and then for a party of five, they automatically added an 18 percent tip onto the bill. Really poor business practice. This was our third try for this location and although the service was much better tonight than our last two visits, the quality of food ruined it for us.

The food is constantly changing because they dont pay their staff enough to keep anyone around longer than a month or two. In the 6 months Ive been coming here, theyve gone through at least 4 different managers, and I dont even know how many cooks. The food is good at its very best, and theyre incredibly inconsistent in what they do or dont allow to be special ordered, and even change their mind halfway through the phone order.

Absolutely the BEST sweet and sour chicken with mango Ive ever had! The meat was high-quality and the sauce was super flavorful. The mango and cashews added to the great flavor. It was so good I couldnt leave any for take-home! They had the best thai hot tea Ive ever had as well! There were fresh roses on table which added to the good atmosphere. The service was attentive and wonderful!

Very disappointed! Thai Orchid was highly recommended from friends and so I wanted to check it out. The service was horrible. The ladies in their were very rude and unhelpful. The food was average. My food was served first and my friend had to wait an additional 20 min for her food, which by then mine was cold. Will not be back.

Food was fine, when we finally got any. It took ages to get our order taken & then the first four dishes came out one at time over 10 minutes. The last three dishes arrived 20 minutes and two complaints later. No apologies, no comped meals, one free appetizer that we said we didnt even want. Really, really dont recommend.

My boyfriend usually isnt a big fan of Thai food, but I talked him into it. He ordered the Pad Ghai and couldnt stop saying how delicious it was. Their yellow curry was, too. We did take out so I cant say much for service, but the lady who helped us was pleasant and we got our food pretty quickly. Nice place.

They have raised the prices 3 times within the last several months. $3.25 for a small glass of thia tea; price gouging much! yeah the food is good but their pricing sucks. They tell you 15 minutes then 30-40 minutes later they finally get to you, then the food you ordered is barely warm.

If you love pumpkin and you love curry then you have got to try their Pumpkin Curry Soup with chicken. Its such a delicate dish. Perfection in my mouth! I want to try other dishes but I always go for the Pumpkin Curry or Pho. And their Thai Iced Tea and Thai Iced Coffee, is perfect!

I crave the Thai Orchid Curry, its amazing! Also the Pad Ga Prau reminds me of my friends in Phuket. Very authentic, this place is classic. Its been here forever! But be patient, and check your order before you leave.

The service wasnt super fast, but they were busy. The food though was very good. The restaurant was clean and inviting. I went with two little kids and they were accommodating of them as well. No kid menu though.

10+ years this used to be a really nice place. Now the prices are more that what is listed, the food quality has decreased, and the staff generally treats customers poorly. We only do to-go orders anymore.
