Okay, first Ill write my good comments. Food (fish n chips) was served fast and arrived hot. Now the negative. Portions were on the small side, food was mostly unseasoned, and when my wife was wondering of she could switch the fries in her fish chips for a salad the waitress suggested ordering a side salad and four separate pieces of fish. The idea sounded fine to us, but when the bill came it cost nearly double what adding a side salad to her original order would have cost. We believe this was a deliberate cost increase by the waitress and will not be patronizing them again.

This place has been here for ever! It is a local favorite and shouldnt be mistaking for a high class establishment. You do get what you came for though, good food, service and prices. On a nice day get your food to go and walk across the street to the park, or turn left coming out the door and walk over to the public pier (with tables) for a view of Puget Sound, a few of its islands and the Narrows bridges. Look both ways before crossing the train tracks!!

I used to love coming down to this bar, but recently they implemented a new policy. This new policy discriminates against people ages 21-26 who have id cards in the vertical format. You see the liquor board sends in underage people with real id cards, and some bartenders are too stupid to read these, serve them, and are fined. So I am asking the fine people of tacoma to join me in my boycott of this establishment. -Max Ladenburg

Four of us went in on a Friday nite , NOT busy. No wonder! The service was bad in fact there was no service the three girls on the floor walked by us several times. Said nothing, offered nothing, and gave us no greeting. Of course they were very friendly with the regulars. My first trip there....Ill never go back. LOOSERS.

great people, great location, lots of stuff to do. WAYYY laid back place to chill, have lunch, or just grab a shot or pitcher after a hard day on the beach. hell, i even do my online classes from here occasionally. oh, and try the fries youll thank me

Needed a place to get a burger and a beer while on the water ... this place is in walking distance from Narrows Marina. Its a joint for sure ... burger was good, fries were marginal -- overall it did the job.
