My wife and I have eaten here twice, and attempted a third time this last weekend. In the first two times, I though the food was pretty good, but the service is so slow you have to wonder if the staff is moving at the pace they do on purpose, like its part of the novelty or something. But yesterday we got there at around 1:15 with our 4 year old son, with plenty of time to eat and then meet our friends to pick pumpkins at 2:30. We easily found an open table, and sat down. My wife ordered a burger, I ordered fish tacos and we ordered a grilled cheese sandwich for my son. By the time 1:45 rolled around, with no food in sight, we were starting to get frustrated, and worried we would not make it to the farm on time. My son, bless his little heart, was holding up like a trooper. As one dish arrived at 1:55, which was his grilled cheese sandwich, we saw that it had barely been thrown on the grill enough to brown the bread, and the cheese was completely uncooked and still in slices. The other food never made it to the table, as I took the plate back to the waitress. I told her of the condition of my sons sandwich, who was now crying because he was so hungry and literally had this sandwich pulled out from under his eyes. She looked at me and said "sorry about that", with a look that sort of said "yeah, this happens a lot here". We burned through almost an entire hour waiting for food that shouldve been 15 minutes to our table, tops. We never ate there, decided to walk over to First and Union Kitchen, where the service was perfect and the food was delicious. Needless to say, we did not make our pumpkin window. And that was the third strike for the Oxford.

My friends band was playing here so I thought Id stop by . When I walked up to the door , there were two or three people standing well down the sidewalk to the right smoking and chatting. I offered my ID to the door man/bouncer/whatever and he got up right in my face and rudely said " Hey, if you think you are getting in, you need to get in line and wait LIKE EVERYBODY ELSE ! " I looked at the pack of smokers about 15 feet down the sidewalk and said "wow, I didnt realize that circle of people smoking way over there was a line,SMART ASS ! " and walked away , with all my money I was going to spend there. All this idiot should have said was "hey, we got a short wait, so hang out for a second and well get you in" , or something to that effect, but he seized the opportunity to be a dick about it instead. Especially frustrating because the "line" wasnt anything even close to resembling a line, to begin with...and what crowded bar doesnt have a gaggle of people out smoking in front of it these days, anyway ? This was on Saturday , 01-30-16 at around 9:00pm. I hope the owners read this because they really need to think twice about posting a jerk like that at the front door to run off customers with his pissy attitude. I will make it a point to avoid the Oxford from now on...not like there arent half a dozen other places that I can spend my money within a hundred yards.

I have been dying to try their Mac & cheese ever since I read an article on it. It took awhile to get waited on as they were trying to fix the TV. Once we finally got our food we were both disappointed. They use truffle oil in their Mac & cheese, which would be fine if the noodles and cheese werent taking a bath in it. They use garlic salt for thier garlic bread. The meatloaf in the meatloaf sandwich tasted like soggy bread. Seriously, the meatloaf was moist but there was no flavor at all.

Great food for any occasion. Best food in town. Service is awesome. Staff is very friendly and attentive. Been coming here for a long time and the atmosphere is like being at your local watering hole. Old time history that is preserved within the walls of this building. Ask to read the story in the book "Weird Washington". Do you believe?? This place is our favorite. The owners work hard to preserve the history. So stop in and enjoy all Snohomish had to offer. You wont regret it.

This place was packed when we got there. The hostess told us they were full, but didnt give us a wait time. I asked her if there were other good eat spots around, she shook her head and said "not really." We went to Freds river town ale house instead and were not disappointed; better vibe, friendlier staff, and good food. Either the hostess is woefully uninformed or she is a liar, either way, the oxford saloon will never earn a cent of my money.

Bad service and rude staff. Arrived at about 1:45pm, the place was not packed at all. Sat for 15 minutes, no menu or greeting or anything. After about 20 minutes we were given a menu and given water and then it took another 15 to get our order. People continuously came in and had to sit at dirty tables because tables were not being cleaned. No food or check up for another 30 minutes so we ended up leaving.

Mac and cheese with truffle oil and prosciutto? Amazing burgers? You sold me there. When you add in the fun Pub décor and the history of the building, its a no brainer. We always stop when in Snohomish, usually on a bike ride. To top it I always get great service. Try it for sure. Game days fun. I have even been there when there was a group of seniors swing dancers, an absolute blast.

As long as youre coming here when they have live music this place is a solid 5-star. I love all the local bands they bring in because they totally rock, fun mix of blues and rock. Generally a middle aged crowd. Cocktails are pretty lame from my experience and beer selection is OK, but the overall atmosphere makes this place for a great night out.

Awesome atmosphere and historical. The current staff with exception of the kitchen could use a class on customer service, very rude. No matter how much we smiled and said please and thank you, it was not enough for these girls. They were more about themselves that the clients. Ladies you are in a customer service job.........be respectful.

New owners as of April 2013. The kitchen has been cleaned up, new friendly staff, and food that will not fail to satisfy! We have one of the greatest Hamburgers you will ever taste, its truly something special. Come on down and check out the Live music nearly 7 nights a week! A little something for everyone at The Oxford Saloon!
