First time.visit at this new location and will be back. Nice atmosphere, service was great, and food quality is generous and good. On the pricey side but only ate half portion with leftovers enough for another meal. ----- Update and down rating. Ok at first but going down hill. ---- First experience was great, but already trending downward after just a month in business at new Redmond Ridge location. Last experience as one to be remembered, and not in a good way. The Arroz Con Pollo was a winner first time around, but kitchen is inconsistent. Last order was too salty and skimpy on cheese. Not bad, but fell short of as previously ordered. Chips were stale. Overly enthusiastic host asked us how things were and I told him chips were stale. He laughed at me and proceeded to tell us about how bored he was, even though he appeared anything but bored. He went on to ask us if we had ever taken a particular test for which I cannot recall name. A little more meaningless chitchat and he finally left us alone. I assumed he didnt hear my complaint about the chips or that he thought I was joking. Not a huge deal, but really odd. Later, my wife decided to share some of her food. In doing so, the same host interrupted us and joked that I was not staying on diet. Pretty funny, but entirely inappropriate. Im not so easily offended but that joke could have easily gone South with the wrong person and hes lucky it was directed at me and not my wife. Finally our waitress stopped by to provide check and asked us how everything thing was. I indicated the chip were stale. Unbelievably, she laughed at me. This time I indicated I was serious and she simply said sorry and walked away to cash us out. Im generously giving 2 stars because the food was good on previous 2 occasions. But this place needs to get thier act together or they wont be in business long, especially considering Ixtapa is right down the street and they excel in the customer service department.
