This place needs to be shut down. The numerous health violations, the mean manager and smell of the place physically made me sick. Why do they permit this dying horse to live. It had its heyday, but now its just got to go. What good real estate to waste on this restaurant that serves bagged frozen vegetables, select prime rib (instead of prime) and perhaps the dirtiest exhibition kitchen Ive ever seen. Wedgewood, Wedgwood broiler, Mike, rude, mean, dirty kitchen, health violations, health code, questionable food handling tactics Seattle. I had to leave because the smell of the place made me physically ill.

Despite my star rating, I love this place. I just dont think it is well rounded enough to get more than 3 stars. The place is a time capsule of the 50s. The staff, the customers, the food, and the cocktails all peaked in the 50s. I love that they dont blink when I ask for old man drinks and that I can still order a true steak cobb salad without any twists on the classics. The food is way overpriced but for me its worth it for the atmosphere. Take your grandparents here if you want to see them throw back a cocktail like they were 30 years younger.

My partner and I come here for prime rib on weekends, plus sides and we are both full. The staff are very attentive and polite. I think they have an area sectioned off for families, but am not sure...I just hear children with their parents on the other side of a half wall. The booths are roomy. Many times weve seen groups of older folks during dinner, and the staff often ask: "The usual for you, (insert name here)?". Its kind of nice to witness that connection. Perfect for those cozy, low key, I want to stay in the neighborhood nights.

This place is like walking into 1972! my friend and I call it the 2...another friend calls it the Regal Beagle ( Threes Company reference) Advise: Always sit in the bar section. You WILL have a conversation with the tables near you, you have no choice nad they are always nice nad fun. Food is good, prime rib is amazing. dont get the string beans that come with it, ask for the brocoli, pay the extra for it. The salad is bizzare, but good, it has cheeze-its and salami squares on it. Reasonable prices and good food and fun!

Sometimes theres a charm in entering a restaurant that has not updated their menu in 18 years. I was recommended this place by a friend 18 years ago and never had the opportunity to visit it. 18 years later Im here by a stroke of chance. Do not eat here. Their prime rib is rubber. Their hamburger is dry and without a pinch of seasoning. Their lemonade is fine. Their service is fine. Their baked potato is sublime. But do not order meat from this place.

What a great place to drink and eat! The health departments rating of "EXCELLENT" greets you as you walk in. Yes, the 50s are alive and well here, including cheese -its on the salad. Thursday ribs, preceded by a special martini, are to die for. And Ive never had a bad weekend breakfast. The customers are fun, the staff courteous and gregarious, and the food cannot be beat for the price! Go enjoy the Wedgwood Broiler right now!

This is the place you go to on Saturday or Sunday morning after a night of drinking. Its definitely a dive even though it has a restaurant and a bar that are separate from each other. Its dark and the service isnt that good no matter what time of the day you show up. But they do serve breakfast! I cannot tell a lie though... Ive probably been there 4 times in the last 6 months.

Been going to the Wedgewood for 38 years, but someone new must be making the salad dressings.. They all taste like oil and vinegar , even the honey mustard I tried tonight because I gave up on there feeble attempt to make the Blue Cheese dressing that was so good for all those years tasted just like oil and vinegar..... I need a new restaurant I guess..

I love the vibe of this place. Everyone is really nice and the drinks are decently priced overall. Honestly, the food isnt great. Rubbery meat that tasted and felt low quality, even the burgers werent holding up. I want this place to be so much more... But it seems to be stuck under a bad owner or something. Wedgwood needs more of this.

The food was great but the service did not compliment. This is an old establishment with regulars, if you are not one of them prepare to not have the best experience. I must repeat, however, the food is excellent. I rate at 3 out of 5 because the dinning experience is more than just the food; beer and service lacking.

This is an old school place. Feels very mom-n-pop-ish. The staff was friendly. The portions were good. Wasnt quite family style, but served similarly. Nothing to complain about. Its a visit that surprised us a bit with low expectations from the outside.

If you want to literally see the history of the Wedgwood neighborhood, Wedgwood broiler is the place you want to checkout. Very old school and family style and friendly staff. We came here for their weekend prime rib many times. Its satisfying for the price.

The hamburger had the consistency of wet kitty litter. I ate 3 bites and have never gone back. From what I have heard.. they mix in way too much filler / oatmeal into the ground beef. It saves money but it fails in quality.

The prime rib is amazing. Salad to start is wonderful perfect amount of dressing and salami and cheese-its on top. The wait staff is very friendly. An all around great place to have food and cocktails in a casual atmosphere.

Consistent food at a great value. Phenomenal hash browns. Steaks are broiled and have a bit of a gas flavor when cooked rare, but everything else is great, including brunch. Get a rewards card. Youll be back.

Love the Wedgwood Broiler Happy Hour. All us silver haired patrons are there from 4-6 and I hear it is a hang out for the techies from 9-11. Great drinks, great service, and tasty food.

My favorite affordable steak restaurant in Seattle! The salads are garnished with Cheez-Its and salami. A meat lovers paradise! If youre from the Midwest, youll feel right at home here.

This is the classic elderly peoples steak joint. The place was Perkins-like with a way too big to be fresh menu. Bland to no seasoning, steamed vegetables and lukewarm steak.

This place as a dated charm to its interior. I wasnt impressed by the beef tenderloin. It tasted like stew meat.

The food is decent and priced right. Also, the bar is great little hidden gem to watch NFL & MLB games.

I had a burger when I was there. It was solid. My friend had prime rib. She was not disappointed.
