I am usually understanding when it comes to service issues at restaurants. Ive been in the industry myself and know what its like to be short staffed, etc. However, the service here was just completely unacceptable. Went in for late night happy hour and it wasnt that busy. Maybe about half full. Sat down at a table and said excuse me to a waiter going by just to ask where we should order. He didnt even stop just said, Im leaving, someone else will come to you. So we waited 10 minutes and no one came to our table. I thought, thats ok, if theyre too busy to come to the table we can just order at the bar. So we go to order at the bar and the 2 guys behind the bar keep avoiding making eye contact with us and doing other things. After about 5 minutes one of them asks if we are at a table, I say yes, and he says "then go back to your table Ill be there in a couple minutes". We go back and wait another 10 minutes before he comes over, no apology or explanation for anything. We put in our drink orders and want to put in our food order as well to save time, but he wont let us. We asked if we could order food as well and he said no I can do that later. His tone was very snarky the entire time, as if we were being complete assholes for trying to order. Needless to say when he came back with our drinks we just cashed out right then and went somewhere else because hed been so terrible. Ive been to other locations of the lodge and everything has been fine, its just this location that seems to have issues.

Went there on a Friday night. Pretty slow, service was terrible. We walked in and sat at a table for at least ten minutes, had to ask a server that walked by us if he could help us and he said he was off and somebody else would take care of us. That never happened either, so I walked to the bar to put in a drink order and the bartender said, if you go grab a table I will be over to help you, so we went back to our table that we had been sitting at for about 20 minutes at this point, then he came over, and was SO RUDE. We ordered our drinks and wanted food, but he said he would get our food order when he came back. Well, he wasnt the one who came back, it was a bar back who was nice but didnt even know what drinks he was bringing to our table. By the time it took us 25 minutes to get a drink we decided not to order food because we didnt want to have to wait for who knows how long to get served. I wish I got the bartenders name because management should know how their guests are being treated. I work in Seattle and will never recommend this place to anybody for a place to go grab a bite or a drink. It is a shame because the environment seemed cool!

So took almost 15 minutes to be acknowledged at the bartop . We good here at 1150am. Finally got some menus then waited that fifteen minutes for them to ask of we wanted a drink. Them ordered wedge salad popcorn shrimp and fish tacos for the other guy. We r going on sixty one minutes and no food and only 1 check back to see if we wanted another drink etc. Per the reviews the service is very slow. Dont know which part is the slow down. It is not that packed and multiple staff running around. Lunch will not happen here again. Update. So I gave it another chance. Came in at 1315 after lunch time. Different experience. Still had a crowd, didnt sit at bar. Five of us this time. Prompt service, quick drinks, food ordered. Food came reasonable time. Food is still good. Waitress was on point.

Wish I could give it no stars. What an absolute den of mediocrity. I have been there 4 times now and 3 times were complete failures. Im a working professional downtown and I would rather eat from a can of soup left by a homeless person than eat here. The first time I was there, an hour after I ordered the waitstaff came up and asked if they could take my order then they rushed my food. It still took 20 minutes to get it. The next time I went as part of a 6 person group and they got 3 of the 6 orders wrong. the third time was fine, but I had a salad and appetizer. today was over 40 minutes to get a hamburger and I was the THIRD person in the door. I even witnessed the bartender handle the trash cans, not wash his hands and then work on his prep station (straws, limes, etc...).

I really wanted to like this place... Twice when in town I booked a room at the Exec Pacific upstairs, with the express benefit of having a restaurant/bar attached, and TWICE I have shown up from the airport, weary from travel, looking for a decent meal and a few pints and been DENIED. Yeah, they decide to close early if its slow, despite POSTED hours of operation here on Google. Therefore, I cannot recommend this place. I think they probably do fine to cater to the "downtown lunch crowd", but if you are a business traveler with an expense account like myself, who relies on accurate information online to plan trips around... avoid. Too inconsistent. Their loss... I was looking for a place I could host a business dinner during my trip, and sad to say, this will not be it.

The food would have been great, however we were only the 2nd table sat down as lunch started and it took waaay too long for our food to come.. when it was finally sat down both of our meals were cold/barely warm (pizza and french dip)... bummer :-( then asked for a bill and a box so that we could hurry to catch our ferry back to bremerton and the server was in no hurry to do this.. also, she didnt check up on us at all... so we paid 30 $ for cold food and slow service. I was looking forward to eating there as the building is really cool and food smelled good. Just a bad experience. Wont go back.. should have went to jimmy Johns and saved 20$

The Lodge was an excellent place for dinner. Great service, and great atmosphere, even for someone who really doesnt care about sports almost at all. I had a cup of their french onion soup, and it was amazing, too good. And i had their Prime Rib Dip, and it was amazing, though perhaps the Au Jus was a bit saltier than i would prefer, it was nonetheless amazing. For those who enjoy it, they have an amazing selection of beer on tap, though personally i had a hard cider, which was also very great. Aside from the salt thing, it was as close to perfect as i could have asked for. Great stuff, great experience.

Happy hour wasnt so happy! Service left me with a bad impression of this place. Service was slow to take our order and we had to track our server down after waiting a while to pay. Went for happy hour, got charged the wrong price on a drink - its fine, mistakes happen. I mentioned that I thought the price was wrong, they didnt check and told me it was correct. Went back with menu that said otherwise and I got passive-aggressive attitude. Aside from this the food was decent and I think our table liked the drinks. However, will not be going back!
