Did Remsey taste the food before he left town ?? i dont think so. We showed up because of the show kitchen nightmares. We live in everett and had a bad experience with the food at our first visit about a year ago, we were so excited to go to the new and improved restaurant from the Ramsey show that we came early tuesday. We were greeted at the door by the owner, that had a few patrons already siting at the bar, and another patron who came in behind us ,was seated right away. While we waited for the next 5 minutes for a seat in an empty resturant ,we were approached by a reporter from the Herald that asked my wife if they could do an interview after dinner, my wife said," sure why not" The restaurant looked better and the singer was entertaining. The service was good but the food sucked .We started out with a fish and crab cake appetizer and it was burnt and drowned in lemon juice. Then we ordered our entrees, my wife had the very dry meat loaf wrapped in bacon and raw green beans and I had the beef stroganoff made with canned pearl onions and to much horse radish, we couldnt taste the mushroom sauce and it was to salty .,I was so hungry i ate it anyway cause the meat was tender .My wife sent back the dry meat loaf and raw green beans and ordered the burnt fish with bones and freezer burnt chips that was hiding the burnt fish. This was a kitchen nightmare that was drowned in lemon juice. No way Ramsey was not responsible for this bad food, some people dont need to be in the food business, maybe they should get the crew from resturant impossible.we both got sick that night and now believe you cant fix stupid, advise from someone that has owned two taverns and was in the business over 35 years from NYC and was a waiter in some swanky places ,if the owner cant cook dont trust the food. They comped the one dinner and gave us desert on the house, we took both choices and one was good, the bread pudding was butterscotch and was to die for, a little dry ,the other had to much granola.. sorry we will not be going back...burnt by the fire twice really shy.

First of all, the food was great! Unfortunately everything else left a lot to be desired. The menus were dirty, they are using paper table covers, which doesnt really match the menu and pricing. However, the napkins were nice cloth. Overall a strange vibe hung in the air...Our waitress didnt say much, she even came to our table and just stood there once we sat down. We started talking just to get the ball rolling. There was no music playing on a Saturday night...No DJ, no background music, just a hushed atmosphere. They brought us our salad, and then our main course right after. No one could finish a salad that fast. Our table was full of plates. It is better that waiting forever for your meal, but they should consider a consistent plan for salads first then entrees second. Also, we never got our complement bread...But we didnt say anything because were not that big into bread before dinner. All the portions were good sized for the price and we left full. During our meal someone came to our table...Maybe the owner? She didnt introduce herself and seemed a little uncomfortable, but she did ask us if we needed anything, so I at least shes trying. Overall I see potential for this place, but the new management needs to polish the experience.

Extremely unhappy. We ate here about a year ago and were very happy with the service and the food. Decided we would go with another couple for an early New Years dinner. Walked in the front door to cob webs in the entry way. Waitress very friendly seated us. Took about 20 min. to get service even though there was only one other couple in the restaurant. Tried to order the Prime Rib she said they did not have any tonight. So I asked if they had the Cioppino she said yes. I ordered it and the others ordered their meal. After about another 20 min. the waitress came back and said the Chef did like the quality of the mussels and did not want to serve them. So I asked to just replace mussels with more clams. Would not do it. So I ordered the Filet medium rare. When our meals came all 3 steaks were over done. We had to ask for refills on our beverages. We will not be going back.

This is a classy joint. I was there for their anniversary celebration. I ordered two meals, one from a table outdoors and the other at the bar later. The service was attentive and friendly, and the food was delicious. I had two different prawn recipes, and both were delightful. The restaurant got very busy, but everything appeared to be running smoothly. The chef was accessible and friendly. The owner danced with a few people in front of the stage and interacted with the customers, creating a friendly atmosphere. The decor is rich and tasteful, consistent with the "Prohibition" theme. The live music was top-notch talent. I had a great time and look forward to going back.

Lunch time was not that busy, yet we sat at a table for about 5 minutes before the waitress gave us a menu. The food was actually quite good. We ordered the Southern Sampler - which comes with an additional side; as the sampler is considered an entree. Great! We added the macn cheese. The ribs were tender with lots of flavor. The fried green tomato had a nice crisp. The Macn Cheese was nothing fancy. The service was not at all attentive, as we had to ask for more drinks by walking up to the bar, where the waitress was talking to the bartender. We also had a long wait for the bill - when there was still no crowd. Our lunch for 2 adults and one child came to almost $60!

called had reservations for abt 12+ plus. The waiter was horrible, he couldnt even remember a drink order, mac and cheese dry hardly any cheese, one plate had a grilled cheese it was just tomatoes, one lady didnt get served her salad but was charged for it, then he said Oh my bad, really? Took 3 times to fix my ticket, food was not very good. No one was happy about their meals or the service, to bad for them since we dine out in a large group once a month. Worst food and service I think I have ever had. Oh and it was pretty spendy since everyone was charged a lot for gratuity. For sure will never go back and will not recommend this place.

Lets be honest.. good food/nice restaurant dont exist in everett. The entire city is a dive . No offense. For the location, atmosphere and Price you really get something special. The butter rum bread pudding is amazing. Me n the wife shared a pork shoulder which was tender & tasty. We also had a bacon wrapped meatloaf on a bed of garlic mash which was unbelievable savory & warmed my soul.. Our server was great Candice was her name she was on point and represented her company very well. Cant get a meal like this anywhere else in everett. Its a gem. If you live in everett and want a fine dining experience this is a great choice.
