Very modern, chic, and shockingly affordable restaurant tucked in the corner but smack in the middle of a huge construction project at the heart of (with no end in site-Parking available on the swc/o 5th & Jackson) International District. I was pleasantly surprised and thought, "Finally Urbanspoon has not disappointed- its difficult to trust some potentially biased reviews." My husband craved pan-fried salt & pepper prawns- and we encountered something even better! Our Go-To spot to satisfy any zeal for a tasty asian-meal!lol We were welcomed with a friendly flare from the genuine pleasure seeking staff, to the contemporary decor leaving a tidy-kept feel, down to the visionary menu! Unmistakably full of inspiration apparent by the well-prepared entrees with exciting fusions of flavors (possibly Szechuan, Anhui, & Thai- among others) And although salt & pepper prawns werent on the menu, they were eagerly accommodating and whipped it up on the fly just to dispel the sad look of disappointment on my husbands face. SUCCESS!! = inevitable future of any establishment at this rate.

Great food ... love eating here ... the problem here is the old lady who usually stayed until night shifts ... I am an Amazon delivery guy too and she treat me Amazon like I am nothing, when you shows up to pick up orders and if the food is not ready yet, she dont even look at you simply she will tell you "its not ready!" no please come back in about 5 minutes or please take a seat until your food is ready or something, nothing! ... and the same time when u become a customers she dont even tell you to take a seat or get you a hot tea or something ... not expected in 2017 lol.

The food, the atmosphere and wait staff are all the best I have found in Seattle. Like all great establishments the ownership is out with the patrons with their sincere concern for the dining experience. I eat there often because the menu selection is spectacular and I carry out even more often. Some food does not travel well. The style seems best described as Asian Gourmet, I always get home with a great meal. I cannot recommend this establishment more.

Have been coming here since they first opened a few years ago while I was still living in the ID. Still make it a point to come every so often. Honestly, I havent had anything here that I havent loved. Of particular note (in my opinion) are the Dried Red Chili Chicken, Basil Lime or Tomato Chili Shrimp, and their Crispy Green Long Beans. Portions are huge, so this is definitely cuisine meant for a big group to eat family style.

Absolutely delicious Chinese food. This restaurant is so flexible with meeting diet restrictions, so friendly and such great food. The rice noodles are made across the street, not shipped in frozen, and are the best we have tasted. The staff recognizes us every time and even remembers our order. We cant believe how attentive the service is. Excellent restaurant - cannot recommend enough!

Would not return. Food was bland and in no way memorable. Staff was inattentive. The ambiance felt like they had spent the day trying to scrub away mold and forgot they needed to be a restaurant at night. It was muggy, sparse without being minimalist, and awkwardly flowing. If you do go, watch your step going between the two halves of the space.

Red Lantern offers traditional and creative dishes in a sleek venue. The service is excellent as well. We were taken to the restaurant by Seattle residents who think it is one of the citys best, and by the standards of Chicago and New York Asian restaurants that we frequent, I think this is one of the best Asian restaurants Ive experienced.

I came by here for lunch with my family because I was recommended from many folks in my home country. Foods are pretty good at reasonable price. Good for lunch for travellers. Servers are nice & kind. Clean setting. The only concern is their foods are a bit salty in overall.

Food was delivered via Uber eats. This is the worst Chinese, Thai and Curry we have ever had. General Tso chicken was dry, burnt and tasteless. Curry and Thai noodles were oversalted and tasteless. Small quantities were delivered for high prices. Avoid this restaurant.

Place has pretty good food but service isnt what Id expect, especially when people start coming in. Expect wait times for food and drink to get exponentially longer... But the Mongolian beef and General Tsaos chickie was good

The food here is...alright. Good for meetings and stuff due to plenty of available seating, but most of the meals are batter heavy. There are plenty of other places in the international district which are better and cheaper.

Definitely try the 5-spice duck. It was very good - glossy, sweet, savoury, and delicious. The kimchi fried rice was spiced nicely. The beef chow fun was well stir-fried and the meat was tender. Overall a great experience.

Their hours suck, they are closed on certain days, and parking is lousy. All that being said.... The food is fantastic! Every visit and take out Im pleased and crave more. Great food and good service when dining in.

Friendly service. The food is authentic to a point. I would definitely try if u are looking for a place for good Taiwanese food but slightly misses the mark for me for what i would find deeply authentic.

Pretty good food. I wouldnt say it is anything special, but it is tasty enough. I probably wouldnt go back using a price to quality ratio. The chicken fried rice was probably my favorite dish.

The 3 flavor Jjajangmyun (black bean noodles) is right on point. A quick, no frills Chinese/Korean style restaurant which are a rarity in these neck if the woods. Solid Asian comfort food.

I think prawn and shrimp are the specialty of this restaurant. It was awesome. But you should keep in mind that all food is oily and hard to empty plate due to strong tasty

Sichuan Chinese food place. Get spicy boiling fish pot and husband/wife beef cold dish. Yummy. Food is fairly heavy due to Sichuan nature so I cant come here all the time

Food was good. We ordered an item with hotness 5/5. And it was indeed really really hot. Staff members were very friendly. Nice interior. Seemed a clean and neat place.

Hope in the wall in a sketchy neighborhood with good quality food! I probably wouldnt come here for a late dinner, but lunch or early dinner would be a good bet!

Just okay. First time visit and while food want bad, it also didnt warrant a return visit. There are better places to eat in the area, for less money.
