Weve been buying takeout here for almost two years and had no issues. This last order the general tao chicken and buddhist tofu had a sour/rancid taste. Previously weve had different quality levels of food and never said anything because it was still edible but this time we could not even eat it. Called to let them know and they specifically asked if it was the general tao chicken that tasted weird (seems suspicious to me that they would know to pick this item amongst our huge $100 order). They did not even apologize all they said was "okay". Incredibly disappointing after driving 30 min from south Seattle, will be looking for a new place.

Just when you thought all Chinese food restaurants were the same comes a breath of fresh air. It may not be much to look at but the food more than makes up for it. I had the Happy Family which is a combination of meat, seafood, and vegetables. It was fantastic. And the price was spot on at only $12. They include free hot tea with your meal which is a nice extra. Wait staff is extremely attentive and food comes quickly after it is ordered. Will certainly be back of I am in the area. I uploaded a few pictures of the dish. It comes out on a hot plate as you will be able to tell from the steam.

I dont understand all the good ratings, or really how this place is still in business. This would be a sub-par Chinese restaurant for a small town in the Midwest- for Seattle its terrible. There are so many better, equally affordable places to eat around here that use decent ingredients. We got 4 very different entrees and could barely eat more than a few bites of all of them. Go get pho or Thai or dim sum at any one of the other Asian food restaurants in town.

The chicken adobo stole my heart. This dish had a lot of flavors & was extremely juicy. The incorporated herbs was more of a Korean/Thai fusion. The only thing holding me back from giving this place 4stars is that although the chicken adobo was one of a kind, when I went in around 7 pm, a lot of items on the menu were already sold out & their prime rib was just average.

Whenever were in the neighborhood we stop by here. Its good Chinese food for what it is... they are vegetarian friendly and will accommodate accordingly. The exterior looks like a dive especially since its next to a vintage antique 2nd hand store... But the interior is surprisingly pleasant... Modernish... Food 4 Service 3 Decor & Ambiance 4 Cleanliness 3.5

Chef Liao is our go to restaurant for Chinese food take out and delivery. Their delivery guy is so personable!! Weve tried several items from the menu and our food is always great. The meat and veg are fresh, portions are huge and spice levels stay consistent. Its never a big deal if we request an ingredient changed or left out and I really appreciate that.

Decent takeout food; weve ordered several times when weve been in the mood for something Chinese; we havent been particularly adventurous in our choices. We alternate between Chef Liaos and Judy Fus Snappy Dragon which have been good enough to get our repeat business, but are hoping to discover an actual favorite in North Seattle.

By far the best Mongolian Beef I have ever had! Definitely worth visiting. The only reason I didnt give 5 starts is because their wait staff needs to improve when it comes to checking on you. Other than that, great experience! Very fair pricing too.

One of our favorites in Seattle, but is definitely our favorite Chinese in Seattle. A very nondescript storefront will probably not lure you in, but the food will keep you coming back. General Tao, Szechuan Green Beans, Hot and Sour Soup are musts.

Hard to find a bad dish here, and Ive tried most of them. Pretty Americanized Chinese, but I love it. Delivery can vary widely - sometimes they say an hour and a half and itll be there in 20 minutes, other times its exactly what they said.

Im a European mutt, genetically, with a wheat allergy. My girlfriend is half Chinese, half Norwegian. Her 92yo Chinese grandmother says this is her favorite restaurant in Seattle, and they can feed me without poisoning me. Nuff said.

Great food at a reasonable price. Found this place based on yelp reviews while visiting custom boots. We had the pineapple fried rice and Mongolian beef. Mongolian beef was by far my favorite. Definitely will return if in the area.

The Thai food tastes nothing like Thai food. The Sichuan food tastes nothing like Sichuan food. In general, it is an Americanized Chinee food place. If thats what you want, go for it. Nothing tasted particularly good to me.

Best Chinese food Ive found, really anywhere. They make everything delicious, but without greasiness... a rarity in Chinese food! I love that its family-run, too. Great prices as well.

I thought the Garlic eggplant was ok and my husband didnt really like his Beef and Green Beans. The food was a bit sweet, which we both thought was odd.

Been here a few times and enjoyed it very much. Big portions, true spice levels, and fair prices. Thats what makes Chinese food good in my book.

For what you get the prices should be much much lower. However, I must say the Chow Mein was pretty tasty.

General Tso was pretty average. Judy Fus beat it by a mile and Chef listed it as a speciality...
