We were regulars here for years. The food was decent, service was great and the waitresses were awesome! They had a special gal we enjoyed and always made sure she helped us. Her name was Judy. Well probably 4-5 yrs ago they fired her so the owners son could start working there. I understand family comes first but Judy had been there for YEARS. They couldve got rid of some else. She wanted to be there, she enjoyed her job and did it well. We continue to eat here for about another 1.5 yrs. The son was young getting to know how to do things so we gave him a break. After awhile we figured he should know his stuff by now so I was watching him while waiting for our food. He was not at all happy to be there, didnt smile once, was bothered when I asked for more coffee and our food finally came he just dropped it in front of us and walked away. He was rude to every table ge served. Needless to say were didnt going back, Im not paying poor service and a negative unfriendly atmosphere. The food is good but that guy makes me give this place 2 stars.

Really enjoyed this place the waiter mike was very nice I had sos which was homemade biscuits with gravy that was to die for. We got a huge homemade blueberry muffin with our breakfast instead of toast for no extra charge n it was delicious. As for cleanliness goes the place might b old but if u actually look everythings very clean. It was my first time there n I will definitely b back with friends n family. I was shocked at some messages about it being a health code violation. Mike said his moms had it for 15 years obviously if there was any health violations itd b shut down. Idk I appreciate good restaurants with hard workers n if u do to I would definitely give berryland a try! I agree its the best restraunt in Sumner and Ill b back. Cant wait to try there pie. They had a bunch in the back going out for Fathers day.

We have gone to Berryland a few times in the past and just recently went out with my family for brunch this last weekend. The young boy that works there has no friendly costumer service. He is very short and clearly not happy working. He is either over worked or has a bad day every time he comes into work. Food was good but would have been better with friendly service. Left with a bad taste in mouth. Sorry

Honestly it left alot to be desired. The server was really sweet and we liked her, but the food was not so great. My daughter ordered a corn dog and it was served frozen in the middle. Our meals were mediocre for the most part and it didnt boast cleanliness. We live in Sumner, and it was said to be a local fave when we first moved here 2 years ago...we never went again.

I always thought this place looked so cute whenever I passed by while browsing the shops on Main Street. I finally decided to give it a try and sadly, it was a huge disappointment. You have to pass the kitchen to get to the restroom where it not only looks but SMELLS like a health code violation. I ended up walking out before I even ordered. BUMMER!

5 stars for what it is. Perfect mom and pop in a small town. This is our favorite place in Sumner for fruit smoothies. They have a huge choice, the price is about $5.00 ea. for the large, we usually get them to go. This is also a wonderful brunch spot, the portions are large so breakfast + lunch makes sense.

The most authentic food in town! Small, at home feeling restaurant with amazing food. Great menu options, a lot of choices for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Seating is limited as it is small inside, but there is never an overly long wait. And the pies! Oh my goodness, the rhubarb pies are to die for

The food was fantastic and a great price. I had a tuna sandwich with was $6.50. You can choose from various sides. Salad, chips, fries, soup, potato salad, cole slaw. All are great. They also have Coke and Pepsi, which is great because not everyone likes both. All in all you need to try it.

I was living in Garden City Kansas. I called from Kansas and ordered a sweet potato/tater pie for Carla Seashore my girl friend for her birthday. She said it was delicious. Ate here today, eggs, hash browns, ham and rye toast was perfectly cooked.

If you are looking for a small town diner with a no frills atmosphere this is the place. It has been voted best in the community and is located on Main Street in the heart of the downtown shops. Great place!

If you are looking for a new breakfast place in the South King / North Pierce area look no further. Homemade rye. Perfectly cooked eggs. Pie. Simple observations of hometown culinary perfection. Go here.

Very friendly, food was good and large servings for the price. The son was very nice, smiled and took care of business. Highly recommended even with a limited menu. Its a family owned and operated.

Friendly service! The tuna salad and strawberry rhubarb pie I had for lunch was delicious. The selection of herbal, green, white, and black teas is worth a drive to Sumner for tea lovers.

Friendly service, family atmosphere. This is where locals go a lot, it seems. People know each other. Food is excellent. You get full even with dishes on breakfast menu.

Food is wonderful and the lady at the front desk was great! Our server however was incredibly rude! And not just to us, to every table in ears reach of us.

The Berry land cafe has a hometown feeling that can be hard to find these days. We ordered two slices of pie while there and HAD to get two more to go.

Food isnt very good and the service is close to none. I had to repeatedly ask over and over just to get something to drink. Would NEVER come here again.
