We heard really good things about this establishment so we decided to give it a try. I called 20 minutes in advance, then had to wait another 20 minutes when we got there. When we got home we realized they forgot an item so I called to ask about it and the woman said that it wasnt on the ticket so we didnt order it. I know for a fact that I did because I asked a few questions about it and confirmed that there was enough for a family of four. When I asked to speak to a manager the woman asked a male coworker and then got back on the phone and said there wasnt one on staff and to call back the next afternoon. The food was mediocre and I do not feel was worth what we paid. I most definitely will NOT be returning to this restaurant.

I love this place. The staff are super nice (especially Amy). They are accepting and kind to people with disabilities (Ive been there with someone whos nonverbal and has Autism & they talk to the person, smile and are just kind...unfortunately this isnt a norm in society). Have I mentioned the food is delicious? Well it is & they are happy to do special requests (no sauce, no onions whatever). Its hot, quick, fresh... It has a great view and we always seem to see a ferry going by. Free wifi if youre there for a working lunch. The prices have gone up a bit; however, its still very reasonable. Hope you enjoy your meal as much as I do :-)

Slooooooow service. Bathroom needs maintenance. Scallops were rubbery. Plenty of food, but mediocre taste. It was okay, so not much else to say. Not horrible, and not good either. Just ok. I agree with remarks about the prices. Pretty steep, particularly for our fabulous rural town. I have to remark on two things others have mentioned -- How and why is not receiving a receipt relevant? Why didnt you simply ask? And complaining that none of the THREE times you went were good... why did you go back a third time? Reminds me of an old joke. Two guys walk into a bar, which was weird because you think the second one would have ducked.

People complain....Thats cause theyre people. However...if you enjoy amazing Eastern quisine that takes longer than 15 minutes to prepare, try out the Golden Grill. YES you can get cheaper food that comes out faster BUT... its pretty obvious that youre satisfied with the bare minimum. Its also obvious that you show up expecting a super filling meal that comes out at McDonalds speed. If thats what youre looking for....try a buffet. However, if youre looking for a satisfying, filling, aesthetically pleasing, ZERO MSG using, authentic-ish oriental dish...youd be crazy to go anywhere else than the Golden Grill.

Consistently good, reasonably priced (mostly Westernized) Chinese food. The staff tends to be visibly hurried though always helpful. (Likely due to the obvious popularity of the restaurant.) Expanding beyond the normal Westernized fare is quickly rewarded with the best quality food offered. Ill say that most of my waiting has been 15-20 minutes though, during visibly busier times, I have waited longer. My experience has always been that its worth the wait. Ill not spend any of my breath to pass judgement on those who have reviewed negatively but broadly suggest trying something different next time.

I always stop in when Im in port orchard. This time I ordered shrimp fried rice to go. It tasted delicious but, there was only 8 medium shrimp in the entire quart. All on the top. As if it was an afterthought to add the shrimp. And the bar area was LOADED with fruit flies. This is normally one of my favorite Port Orchard restaurants. Im hoping it was just a bad day. I would think that these problems would be an easy fix. I will try again next time Im in town.

My husband and I decided last night to try a new place to dine.. .. GOLDEN GRILL ON THE BAY, in port orchard, downtown by the water... HOLY COW! They were soo good and the prices were great! The service was great and the food even better. They have large portions, we had to take food home AND THEY DELIVER! this is huge folks.. I have lived in my house 6 year and could not find anyone to deliver chinese food.. haha... try them out.. its a great place!

One of the best Chinese restaurants weve found on our travels over to Washington (and we sure have been looking). Granted, weve only tried the "American-ized" chinese food. We order the General Tsos and crab rangoon every time we go and its always very good. The chicken is all white meat and not fatty! Each time weve gone the staff has been friendly. Weve only done take out, so we cannot speak for the dining service (but the view is nice).

Will never use this place again. They delivered to my hotel room and failed to give me a reciept for the meal. Food was expensive, rice wasnt fully cooked, they forgot to bring me the soda that I paid for, and didnt bring utensils. When I called to inquire about these issues they simply stated that they dont normally bring plastic utensils with their deliveries...which makes no sense. Am I supposed to eat the meal with my fingers?

Take out order. Did not get our rice, but did get sweet and sour sauce no meat with it. The menu reads that you would get a good amount of food, but you dont. It fit the cliche " No soup for you" because that was missing as well. I called but didnt pursue the issue. Not worth it. I should have driven to Golden Star in Bremerton, so much more food same price.

This place blows when you trying to order. Every time i call their phone is busy and the ni drive over they just have it off the hook. last time i visited for in house seating we sat for 30 before we got menus tenth waiter told us its going to be 3 hours before we got service and she did not care worse attitude.

Ordered 3 meals. They forgot to put sauce on the sweet & sour. Tried to give me fried chicken patties for my almond chicken, never gave me the 3rd order of rice & when I brought it back the girl there kept telling me "I dont know what to tell you." Food was very bland as well. I DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!!!! EVER!!!!!

Gorgeous view, good location, really great service but food was not up to par. I was really disappointed in the quality of the food. I really wanted to like this place but even the basic dishes were mediocre. More like the quality of grocery store Chinese food.

Ive never eaten in, but every time Ive ordered for delivery all food has been excellent! Sweet and sour shrimp is to die for! Delivery always arrives before its expected, pleasant ordering experience on the phone. I highly recommend this restaurant.

The food is great.... if you have an hour to sit and wait for it (we have eaten there several times, and have always had to wait an hour... no matter what day, or time we go). Dont go there on a first date, unless you have PLENTY to talk about!

Food is great , customer service and satisfaction is terrible. They never check on you and are never available for help. When I call in food its usually cold even though I waited in the restaurant for my order to be complete
