The restaurant is inside a little gas station and looks really shabby from the outside. Well dont let the look fool you. Get their "giant quesadilla" with beef steak or for more tender meat, beef tongue. I guarantee you itll be the best quesadilla you ever tasted. They also have free chips and salsa, which is also yummy. The giant quesadilla is about $5.25. Its pretty easy to find. Theres only one intersection on Pescadero with a stop sign and flashing red lights, and its the only gas station at that intersection. They have 5 tables inside. But eat their food standing if you have to! Sometimes I drive to Pescadero from Palo Alto just to have their quesadillas. This is truly a hidden gem.

Cash only but damn do they have the best Mexican food in all of the Peninsula! Not only are their burritos delicious but their super nachos are definitely something you should order if your going with friends. Just split it and you will not regret making a trip or pit stop at this gem! make sure to get your ice cream after.

Tamales are great (the chicken was seasoned well), the tacos were awesome: fish was plump, moist and flavorful; the carnitas was succulent, seasoned well and mighty tasty! The crema from the salsa bar was also nice- with a little heat and not full cream filling as most. Worth it to stop by and grab a bite!

HUGE portions and cheap prices, dont be scared off from being inside a gas station. Almost went to the wrong place across the street because thought I was looking for a restaurant alone... you dont want to make this mistake. One of my favorite burritos ever.

Spent $6 on two (phenomenal) carnitas tacos. Everything everyone ordered looked great; you could tell the food was prepared with care. Not the cheapest joint, but reasonably priced for the area, and two of the best tacos Ive been lucky enough to enjoy.

Lots of food for a good amount of money. I would recommend jumbo burrito, California burrito, and lots of chips. The quesadillas are oddly shaped but still taste good.
