Two out of three attempts, making reservations 3 weeks in advance with parties of 6 and more have failed. The staff, who took my reservations did not save my information. My first experience, was amazing but when I made my second reservation for Valentines day and called to confirm, they misplaced for the wrong month. The staff had called me back and confirmed they made the error. The third attempted, I called the same day I made Mothers day brunch reservation, with another restaurant. I called the day of Mothers day, to confirm and they couldnt find my information again and this time told me they could not accommodate my party.

Service and food was really bad, and this wasnt my first time there. Our server was careless and to busy chatting with co-workers to take care of us, even though we were her only table. Asparagus frittata was cold, and didnt come with the aioli as described on the menu. When the server finally came back 10+ minutes later, she didnt apologize/acknowledge the error. Bloody Marys were no good, the Eggs Benedict was under cooked and the hollandaise sauce was runny and tasteless. The food looked sloppy and tasted the same. Very sad since I talked up their breakfast to my girlfriend and we were celebrating her bday.

Soooo dissatisfied with our meal, our clam strips were definetly not fresh or local and fried in super thick disgusting batter, even the fries were soggy and way too salty. Service was poor, all of us got our food at different times and they need to hire a new bartender, drinks were terrible. I thought they were under "new" management! DO NOT WASTE your $$$ at a $20-$30 a plate restaurant, there are much better restaurants in Olympia!

Ive often driving past this place but never stopped for food. Wow, that will have to change! The service was top notch! I got a blackened rockfish fillet with steamed veggies and it was delicious. The person with me got the Dungeness crab cakes and she said they were fantastic. Lunch for two was only $30, which was a pleasant surprise. Will definitely have to go back again for either breakfast or lunch. +1 recommend

They let us in 10 minutes early, Martini was fantastic, service was perfect. Delicious salmon and freshest salad Ive had in a while. They forgot the military discount and the owner literally chased me down the street to apologize!! Fantastic new favorite spot will definitely recommend to everyone and anyone. They were even awesome with us having our 3 year old there. Go go go!!

I give 4 stars because this was my first visit and thus is not enough information to give an informed rating. The service was excellent as well as our server, I ordered the Pasta Primavera which was delicious, and the atmosphere was sophisticated with a hint of home town eatery. All in all an excellent restaurant I will be visiting again. Oh and happy hour is from 4pm-6pm.

Our waitress was really nice but the food was not. I ordered the braised lamb benedict on GF bagel. No GF bagels so I had bread. Almost no lamb on the bread, no capers, just a lot of olives and a few mushrooms. The eggs were underdone - the white was uncooked. If you dont have the ingredients tell the customer and let them order something else. We wont be back.

Amazing food and atmosphere, everything is delicious and always comes out hot. But in return for the freshness of the food be prepared to wait at least 15 minutes to order and then another 30 to 40 minutes for your food depending on how busy it is. Dont get me wrong, I still come here on a regular basis, but be prepared to wait, dont show up starving.

I really enjoyed the Rockfish grill. The prices were a little high for us to go to regularly ($15-$25 a plate) but wonderful for special occasions. The food was exceptional, and as soon as we got into our meals it was clear that we would be coming here again. Its obvious that whoevers in charge of the cooking has put a lot of heart into it.

I had chanced upon Cicada 2 yrs back. The food was exceptionally good, so much so that we drove 80 miles and visited the restaurant again last week. We were disappointed by the very mediocre food they served. Dont know if consistency is their problem . The food portions are bigger now. I would rather have smaller but tasty portions!

I enjoyed The Big Easy. It is two eggs with hollandaise sauce over a creole rice and sausage. The jam seems to be homemade and I get it every time on the homemade biscuit. We shared a pear bread pudding that was amazing. This is a higher than casual place. Quality is higher as well. Evening time expect the dress code to improve.

Delicious food! A little on the pricier side but great for date night or a romantic breakfast. Also seems to be a spot for business for some individuals. Staff are excellent! The last time we were in, the waitress was all alone but she still managed to take care of us. A bit fancy. Id suggest dressing up a bit.

Extremely slow and terrible service. Took over an hour for 3 sandwiches and our server was entirely unapologetic. We ended up just leaving before the food even came out, after 1 hr, 15 minutes and more than one inquiry on the status of the order. Will never go back and do not recommend.

Horrible people. As we were enjoying our dinner a hostess came to the table and told us the next reservation had arrived and we needed to leave. We had ordered as soon as asked and were waiting for our bill. If your slow service creates issues dont make that your customers issue.

This is one of the best kept secrets in olympia. Creative and original menu, the duck crepe is wonderful. Prices are more than fair, service is wonderful, and the happy hour makes me want to skip the gym. Definitely better than than the other seafood restaurants in olympia.

First time here: great customer service our waitress Emily was attentive and friendly. Refreshing drinks -strawberry mule and beer- Excellent bacon clam chowder and spicy jambalaya rice. Cajun Alfredo was good. Wouldnt mind more kick or spycier. Pork sandwich was good too.

Another one of my favorite restaurants in town. Ive enjoyed breakfast and dinner here more than once. I was surprised how delicious and creative their breakfast is, its always my first choice for breakfast. Service is always friendly and atmosphere is relaxed and clean.

Ive eaten at Cicada on numerous occasions (dinner, brunch and lunch). My understanding is that the chef/owner trained in New Orleans and Italy and its evident in the food presentation. Ive always had an excellent meal and the service has always been wonderful.

A great place for a cocktail, glass of wine or meal. Excellent happy hour options. Staff is always very sweet and the food especially delicious! I recommended the andouille mac and cheese, duck, meatloaf or their tacos! They accept reservations.

Stop looking for a place to eat. Just go here. And ask for the couch table by the fireplace:) My wife and I loved it here. Oddly, this fish place has the best hummus plate Ive ever seen. Hahaha. The fish was good too.
