I recently had a thirty year High School reunion for our Oregon City class of 1985 at this venue on July 18th 2015. My co host and I had difficulty finding and affordable venue and she remembered The Stock Pot from a work luncheon she had with them many years ago. In January of this year I went in to meet with Murray Miller one of the Managers and immediately felt comfortable and confident. The holding fee was reasonable so I decided to go ahead and set the venue for our class. Over the next six months he was always very open to any calls I made for any questions I had and six weeks before the reunion we met up again and went over all the details again for all assurances and suggestions to make sure I was happy and confident. I cant tell you how happy I was with the whole process and the success of the reunion in general. The food buffet of warm Hordevours, appetizers and fabulous desserts was very hearty and was delivered with excellent promise. The room was decorated tastefully in the colors asked for and well air conditioned. We had a screen for a DVD as were allowed to also decorate as needed for our own added desires and personal touch. The only drawback was that the microphone was not up to parr and I had trouble speaking with it and had some of my speech cut out and had to raise my voice. I give special Kudos to Michelle Kirby for coming to my aide to help with this as she was very helpful all through the evening along with the other restaurants attendants. But I know the microphone problem will be resolved after speaking with Gary on this issue when I called to inform Mr. Miller of this problem and he was not available. I will highly recommend this venue to anyone wanting a reunion or any kind of reception as well as just having a nice meal out. The food is excellent and reasonably priced as well.... Thank you again Murray Miller and staff for such a wonderful and VERY well received reunion and experience with your venue. I will go back again... Kelli Ann Collins

I previously wrote a negative review on the Stockpot Broiler here. Weve been going to this establishment since 1982, maybe earlier. All meals and service have previously been very good to excellent but this particular evening, everything seemed off. The Service was poor, the food was warm, not hot, etc. It was our Anniversary so this was our choice of all restaurants to celebrate at - like usual. Some of the events almost seemed comical but we werent laughing in the end. So what happens next after my review? The owner, Murray, calls us at home. He was sincerely concerned over the issues we voiced and is going to investigate them and "do whatever it takes to keep us as Clients". So we plan to go back in the future and give them another fair chance. Murray told us "you both will certainly be pleased on your next visit". So we expect we will be giving them a 5-star review next time. Having the owner contact us at home was pretty impressive, almost unheard of Customer Service these days. Thanks Murray.

My husband have been going to this restaurant for years. We have had pretty good experiences up until tonight. Tonight I did not like the lamb dish I got. I sent it back saying I didnt like it. They would not remove it from my bill. Said it was prepared perfectly so there was no good reason to take it off the bill. Everywhere I have had this situation in the past (far from a regular experience) the dish has been removed from the bill. I pushed the situation here, even explaining that this was a deal breaker for our future business, and all we got was a $25 gift certificate for a future visit (the lamb was $36). The manager came to table to press her point and continue with the insincere apologies while telling me why I was wrong to expect it. We will not be returning. Good service is imperative in a restaurant of this level. That is clearly gone from this establishment.

Ive been going to the Stockpot for years and have yet to be disappointed. Their happy hour menu is amazing and there dinner menu is also fabulous. The owners Debbie and Murray are so nice and truly go above and beyond, I schedule all work meetings and employee gatherings there. My favorites are the nachos, the wasabi deviled eggs, and the tuscan beef. The bonus is the bartenders Andy is so funny and nice it is worth stopping in on a Friday to just have a drink and some happy hour food. Also there are plenty of T.V.s so you can watch all the major sport games which of course is important. I have been going to the stockpot for over 3 years and will continue to recommend it to everyone i guarantee you will not be disappointed.

Weve been coming to the Stockpot for over 20 years. Its gone through a lot of chefs and tweaking of the menu but primarily it is a restaurant that goes back to the days of the white tablecloths, black background, old fashioned service with which many of us are comfortable. No open ceilings, cement floors, loud background noises and off-the-wall food concoctions. I will say that the latest permutation has seen some of the new buzz combos but the menu is decent and the prices a little on the high side. The wine, however, is ridiculous. Unless Im totally out of the loop, I think $32.00 for the least expensive bottle of Merlot is excessive.

When a place is this expensive, everything should be over the top. They dont serve real butter with their bread and it was a skimpy amount for two people. Theyre famous for their Lobster Bisque. It was good but luke warm. The Ceasar salad was also skimpy. We ordered Steak Pouvre. It was a good cut of meat and the sauce was good but we ordered it medium rare and it came medium. The green beans were undercooked but the fingerling potatoes were good. The service was ok and the restaurant looks like it needs a face lift. I feel they are living on a past reputation and unless we hear it has improved, we wont be back.

Our family visited the Stockpot on 03/13/15 for dinner. Two of us ordered Prime Rib which was the toughest piece of meat that we have ever tasted hiding behind the Prime Rib label, We took over 50% of the Prime Rib home and intend to feed it to our best four legged friend. We will not frequent the Stockpot again. The service was very good which explains the two star designation.

It would of been great if the waitress had gotten my order right. Ive always gotten nervous when they try to just commit the order to memory instead of simply writing it down. Waited a long time for a somewhat expensive dinner that was wrong... steak was ordered with mushrooms but came out covered in blue cheese. I hate blue cheese!

Came here for fathers day, but I have food allergies. They refused to let me order off the menu instead of eating at the buffet. Sitting here starving while everyone around me eats. Oh, and Im a diabetic that took insulin prior, thinking there would be edible food options. If you have allergies dont come here.
