Ristrettos is our go-to spot when we are in the area, but today had us mourning our last visit. Got there after lunch and every table was dirty, even though there was plenty of staff available to clean tables. We had three different staff members visit our table and neither of them offered to clean it. We were helped right away, the coffee was wonderful as usual (only reason I give 3 stars), but the food was surprisingly awful. My daughters sandwich was coated in powdered sugar (never had been this way in the past.) My usual turkey spinach wrap was so tart, I was looking for lemon slices or something in there that made it almost unable to eat. This time, we were charged an unexplained service fee. That was the nail in the coffin for them for us. There was no warnings or advisement of this fee, and it was an odd amount ($0.86 on a $22 bill.) I never got a good reason what this service fee is for....is it because I used a credit card? Is it a way the owners are passing along the cost of $15/hr wages? It would be really easy to print the reason why the fee is charged on a receipt, or on top of a menu. I dont like feeling like I am being gouged, and especially when the overpriced food is no longer edible. It seems like something bigger might be going on here....the meals werent as good of a deal as a few months ago when we visited, the chips are different and not as many are being included with the meal, sandwiches are being made with ingredients that arent listed on the menu description (which is just plain dangerous), and a large sign behind the bar announced new Spring specials even though it is the end of August.

Taking lunch meat and shredding it and calling it the "Turkey" on a Turkey Chicken Caeser Salad doesnt make the grade. They are quick at the bar to order...but always say "Will be right with you". Plus dont get the ham and cheese croissant. Its like a squished sponge in a bag. Food is ok..average..but does the trick if you are in a hurry. Nice building and ambiance and has a lot of potential but try to hard to have a "trendy" menu but in the end they serve food that bests suites their ability to make a meal that best suites their needs and not the value of the consumer. Panninis..etc....wraps....etc... are just trendy short cut meals.... shredded lunch meat?? They can do better than this. Hey...they serve Coca-Cola so my review above certainly shouldnt sway you from coming here. This alone can make up for everything except the shredded lunch meat.

Ive been coming to this place since day 1. And was here during their one year anniversary. Love coming here and the ambience and the feel of a cozy coffee shop. Not only it is a coffee shop but they serve great local wines as well and with seating outside and a great view. Otherwise the place is great including their live music whenever available with local artists. Their food is fantastic and their cheese plate. My favorite is their Monte cristo. Amazeballs! The place is a definite must visit when youre in the area. Update: Theyve been consistent with their Baristas so I figured Ill update this review. I go here about 2-3 a week not including weekends.

This was my first time here, the wine did and service was great and I would definitely go back. The only negative comment I have is that my receipt had a "service charge" and when I asked about it they said it was the fee that the credit card machine charges. As we all know businesses do pay a fee for the use of credit cards and I feel this is their responsibility as part of doing business. I didnt see anything that told me about this fee and I dont appreciate paying this fee it being passed onto me. Use cash if you dont want to pay this fee.

As a past employee & current customer, I love this place!! If you want a friendly, trendy, & family-like atmosphere, youve come to the right place. The employees are great friends, and even better teammates. Gina treats every customer like family & goes above and beyond for all! The customer service is great, and very personal: (as many baristas will remember your order after just one time ordering it!) love the food, the people, & the coffee!❤️

Coffee is much more nuanced & has more depth than Starbucks & its cheaper too! I bought a large vanilla cold brew coffee & a lemon loaf & it was only $5 & some change. The woman who took my order was very sweet & personable. The shop itself is BEAUTIFULLY decorated. Sort of rustic, hipster but not in an uncomfortable, inconvenient way. Very clean too & quick service. Great atmosphere. The lemon loaf was very tasty too & moist.

Their martinis are delish, and they have several new food items. Customer service seems to have improved also. They were super busy a couple Thursday nights ago, but staff were friendly. Food was coming out of the kitchen at a good pace considering there wasnt an empty table in the place. Cozy and welcoming, I will definitely be back more often!

I WAS a regular at Ristrettos, but the last time I was there I asked for two wine corks for my daughters science project. The lady rudely told me they save them and they do not give them out. I could see wine corks sitting right behind her. So I will be saving my money and will not return. I am tired of the rude employees at Ristrettos.

Good Coffee, Great Wine, and a beautiful lounge area. One of my favorite places to study or meet for a good conversation. The small menu of snacks that they do have is pretty decent. Ive edited my review from 3 starts to 5. The service used to be bad, but they have improved. I cant find a single reason to complain. Great spot.

I enjoy the coffee they make every time. Ive met friends here and always like the drinks and atmosphere. They have a generous syrup selection to choose from. I love lavender lattes and I was pleasantly surprised to find out that they can make those here too!

Wine selection is pretty great, pretty extensive catalog. Will sell bottles retail, some that you really cant find anywhere else. Little bites and coffee are also very nice. Staff is great, will let you try wine to make sure you like.

Ive enjoyed several great americano coffees here, and a couple great wine flights one evening, complete with a live performer. Even now Im working on their free wifi connection to do some writing. A great local place to support.

Some of the best coffee I have ever had. It makes Starbucks look like average at best coffee. Wonderful decor. An upstairs area to get away from the crowd to talk. A patio out back to look at mt. Rainier on a beautiful day.

Stopped in on day off while I had some time. Ordered mocha which was very good. Sat by the fireplace and enjoyed. They brought water and I didnt even ask! Very friendly folks. Will be back for lunch when I have or time.

Undisclosed service charges and arbitrary price upcharges make this my first and last visit. Absolutely zero customer service from the any of the staff who couldnt be bothered to do anything but talk amongst themselves.
