Inexpensive home-style Canto food. Bring your appetite; these portions are big! The Pros: + Big portions for not a lot of money + Authentic recipes. Authentic taste. The So-sos: = A little sauce heavy The Cons: - Boba was a little undercooked. Not much decor to speak of but thats not why anyone comes here. (The money a restaurant saves on chintzy decorations they pass onto the customers by way of lower prices.) Theres very little in the restaurant that doesnt serve some practical purpose. Speaking of practical, the waitstaff may seem brusque but that may be the price of efficiency. Service is prompt, attentive, and direct. Orders are always accurate and served unbelievably fast.

Everything that Ive had at this eatery is has been very good. Weve had visitors who wanted real chinese food - this is where we ended up and they were impressed with the dishes brought to our table. I would highly recommend this place if you know what the culture and style of chinese food are. If you are not familiar and have never dined with chinese families and want something with a pretty atmosphere, and will take your credit card youll have to look elsewhere. Those whove commented about this not being a date place probably wouldnt appreciate San Franciscos chinatown either. We driver 40-45 minutes to get take out or eat there. Worth it!

HK style restaurant. Serves their food super quick, like as fast as a fast food restaurant. The food isnt the greatest Chinese food but tastes pretty good and is pretty slightly. Their menu is pretty large and has some items that I dont see at most other Chinese restaurants like yin yern chow fan. Prices are good with most dishes under $10, and the portions are more than enough for a single person. Service was slightly lacking, requiring us to call on the waiter for more tea.

This is what it would be like at a local Hong Kong "fast food" restaurant, a Cha Chan Tang (茶餐廳). Way healthier than the usual fast food, you get plateful of rice/noodles and other dishes at prices thats really hard to beat. Its a great little non-secret on the Eastside. I come here when I have any consulting appointments at Microsoft. Highly recommended. Used to be cash-only, but I think they probably take credit card now.

Cafe Ore is a great place for the value. For $20 you are slaying it. The only downside is last time I was in they only accepted cash. Maybe that changed. My favs are the congee, the deep fried pepper tofu (wicked good). Thier curries are also good and this odd combo of what seems like udon noodles and beef brisket. It is really good though. Oh and sometimes they have this odd french toast. Really good too!

Plain, uninviting decor. Took a while to get the food. Hot & Sour Soup was a bit too spicy for my taste. Asked for pot sticker, got an egg roll instead, silverware old cheap-looking, rice clumpy, sweet & sour chicken - mediocre at best. Price was good. I wish I could recommend it, but based on first experience - I cant and therefore wont be back.

Excellent curry fish on rice. They are famous for their Taiwanese Pork Chop on rice. Very nice and quick dish. Messy to eat but worth the mess. The place is kid-friendly. Also, recommend this place for quick to-go dinner. Try their soy duck; great for to-go and goes along great with white rice. Oh, remember that this place is cash only!

I was feeling sick and wanted some comfort food so I came and got some congee here. It was a little thinner than I like, but the pork and preserved egg were good. The price was really good, only about $8. My rating is only based on the congee, and it was alright. I would come back if I was feeling lazy and wanted congee again.

Careful, the mushroom chicken is not all it seems. Rather, it is cream of mushroom soup with chicken over rice. That being said, Im willing to overlook this shortcoming on the account that service is generally fast, food is generally warm, and that their lemongrass chicken is actually top notch.

The food is decent, but service was horrible. I was eating and one of the servers asked me to move tables because they wanted to start closing down and vacuum under my seat (this was right around closing time). The only reason I keep coming back is they are open late.

Very fast service, lots of seating (accommodating family style eating), and an extensive, varied menu. Everything we ordered came as expected. It was easy to eat vegetarian here, but there are many meat options as well.

If you want decent Chinese food at reasonable prices, it doesnt get better. We usually get the pork chop noodles, curry beef brisket, fried tofu with peppers, and fish with creamed corn (sounds wierd but its good).

Healthy options like Buddhist Delight available, taste great without a lot of oil. Hot pots also have a complex mix of flavors, difficult to get at home. Theres a reason why so many Asians and non-Asians eat here.

Delicious food with very reasonable price. They are fast and always provide a large amount! You wont be disappointed with traditional Cantonese dishes, but better not try szichuan cuisine.

Food is consistently good. Fast food service from order to table. General Chinese customers service, gets your food to the table and thats pretty much it.

Most amazing thing on the menu is the Curry Brisket with rice. They make some of the best food here. Love it and wish they had another location up North!

Food was better than average. Restaurant itself is not really a dining atmosphere, better to get take-out in my personal opinion

If you want authentic, this is by far the best Chinese in all of Seattle. This is my favorite, hands down.
