First time visiting. Nice casual atmosphere, heavy bar crowd. Bar was full but dining room was half empty. A very limited menu, not a lot of choices on the menu, unless you are ordering drinks. Then they have pages and pages of drinks. I finally decided on the flat iron steak with chimichurri sauce and ancho chile infused polenta and grilled prawns. Table service was excellent. Dinner arrived, looked great. Very skimpy portions though for the price. Had 3 small prawns, they were overcooked, rubbery and not cleaned very well. The polenta was to chunky and to gritty and not creamy at all, but did have good flavor. The flat iron steak and chimichurri was perfect, delicious but again to small of a portion. I ended up stopping someplace else later to grab a burger to fill me up and Im not a big person by any means. Waiter was excellent, but I did notice that not the same person delivers your food as takes your order. At first I thought it was just because our waiter maybe had been busy, but I watched throughout the dining room and this was the case for all the tables. I dont know if the wait staff split their tips with the food delivery staff. If they dont, maybe they should. It might improve their attitudes. Didnt say a word, just dropped the dishes off, not even a smile and walked away. Waiter came back immediately to check to see if we needed anything else, which was great. Overall experience, Ok. Trendy, overpriced and small portions for the money. Cant imagine it would be one of my top choices next time, but I certainly would not oppose going back.

First off it was very noisy! Booths and tables all jammed into a square room designed only to cram as many people in as possible. The large group next to where we were seated were shouting to talk to each other over an 18 foot long bunch of tables. The service was fine, even though the Wait Staff had to take turns getting trough to the tables because they were too close together. I ordered the seafood grill which had salmon, large shrimp and scallops. The shrimp and scallops were fine but the salmon was gross. Farm raised tasteless, soft mushy texture and nearly no color. Were in the Northwest here people, fresh or fresh frozen is always available. No farm raised crap for me. The other meal was satisfactory, thus two stars instead of one. With all the excellent dining in Issaquah, Im afraid Coho will never see another visit from me.

Me and my girlfriends used to always come down here and we really enjoyed the place but the new staff is not to die for, especially the girl Sarah, she made us all feel very uncomfortable I believe that she was talking about us and kept looking at us as if we were less then her.. she clearly is not a good asset for Coho and I will NOT be returning until they replace her, my best suggestion is ask for a different person when you get there.. you will see what I mean. Other then that, foods pretty good.. just unfortunate they had hired this girl!

This place is great. Its a little on the spendy side, but not bad (entrees from $15-30.) The food is good quality, nice outdoor seating area with plenty of shade for the summer time. The food is tasty and the portions are large, whats not to like?! We also had great service. The people we went with have been here many times and claimed that it is always great. Only reason Im not giving it 5 stars is because the food wasnt out-of-this-world good, but still very good. Above average for sure. Oh! Also, nice happy hour specials from 3-6pm!

Maybe I just had a bad experience, but the chicken was weird. It was strangely sinewy and rubbery, but not because it wasnt cooked fully. I cant think of the reason why and Im still pondering the issue now. I should have asked I suppose. Unfortunately I will not be returning. I did read an article about some chicken suppliers processing their chicken down to 51% meat. Maybe this is that chicken? Either way, service was really nice. They lost 2 star because they served me something that resembled chicken that was clearly not.

This is one of our favorite local restaurants. The food is great and the service is always good. They have an extensive menu that will have something that will satisfy everyone in your party. Our favorites are the Sambal Shrimp as an appetizer and, on Fridays, the prime rib. I also like the fish tacos and fish-n-chips. Coho Cafe takes reservations if you dont like waiting for a table, or they also take walk-ins. The wait usually isnt too long. They also have an open seating area in the bar.

I cant seem to recall a time that this place is busy for lunch, but the time to prepare your food does take a while. Service has always been good. Although I cant personally recommend the fish tacos, their salmon burger has to be one of the best item on their menu. It has always been fail proof. Salmon is always cooked just right. If you have the passport card or the Microsoft Prime card, its buy one entree get one free.

This place is beyond disgusting and extremely overpriced. We ordered 2 entrees (Some sort of tiny shrimp, and a salmon that was farm raised in china or somewhere) both entrees were the size of an appetizer, a kids disgusting mac n cheese and some cup slimy supposedly soup. No drinks, total was $50.00!!! What a waste, never ever again! Oh, we ordered as a takeout because our baby was screaming up a storm in the car.

Had a late lunch/early dinner today and, as usual, was overjoyed. The young man who waited on my father and I was engaging, attentive and actually remembered what we ate the last time we were there. The food is great and never a disappointment. Tried the pulled pork sliders for the first (not the last!) time. Loved them. Have a cup of the seafood bisque. You biggest regret will be that you didnt have a bowl.

Frist time eatting here. The service was very nice and attentive, our server Missy had the perfect amount of talking to us, answering our questions, not interrupting us to get plates or give water.. The food was amazing. We had the calamari, seafood fettuccine, and the mixed grill. Not alot of salt, which we love. Fettuccine was very creamy. Everything was presented beautifully. We enjoyed every bit.

Not worth the trip. Four of us went there for the first time. The portions were small & relatively pricey. The food was okay, but not cooked well and without going into detail, some of the elements in the dishes were overcooked, or just plain gross. The presentation was artistic - but the food just seemed kinda cheap and plain and uninteresting. We will not be returning. Great service, though!

I was skeptical about this place, I will admit. Most restaurants on this plaza are competing for either the romantic teenage couple or best take out award. But Coho rises above mediocrity with fresh, flavorful food. The seared ahi tacos were no disappointment, even at the hefty $16 for two. Service was quick and friendly. An overall wonderful dining experience that deserves a second visit.

We stopped here on a whim one weekend to just try a new place. Was a touch difficult to find and get into due to some nearby construction. Nice seating. Their house specialty cocktails were pretty nice. Good selection of foods on the menu. They came out fresh and tasty. Our server was super friendly and helpful. Lots of knowledge about the menu. We will likely go back to again.
