I will NEVER step foot in this restaurant! My friend and i went on a very busy night and waiting in line amongst many others. The Hostess that may have been the owner came up to us and said we had to leave that they were to busy to seat us like they were singling us out because we had others that came in behind us. Mind you we were willing to wait and had no problem with that. So we left and i hope they know that we know a lot of people and have since told many others not to go to that restaurant. I have never been so insulted before! I just dont understand why she was so rude. We are very friendly and would normally never review like this but it was obsurd! I do want to say that we told 3 other couples as they were getting out of there cars to go in and they lost there business as well!!

From the first time we ever went in there the owner made it a point to introduce himself. Alfredo. Him and his wife Diana have ran this restaurant since opening 5 years ago. He started this business at 21 and have since blossomed it into the amazingly clean and fun atmosphere it is today. I can personally speak on behalf of the only negative review of this restaurant as it is from the father of a daughter who was a slacker (to put it nicely) who got let go for not calling in numerous times. I absolutely love Ixtapas food. I have been to the one in Lake Stevens numerous times and they are always busy and friendly and care about their customers. My friend was visiting from out of state and so we met at the Lynnwood one since it was closer. We assumed it would be the same. It was not. The place was deserted and our waiter was too busy watching football to properly serve us. The food came out dry and and seemed like it had sat. When I complained the waiter told me he was the owner and did not care. I will never be back to this Ixtapa.

Horrible experience. Went with a friend that is allergic to tomatoes and after expressly conveying her allergies to the owner himself they still served her a dish with tomatoes. They said they werent going to eat it and didnt want anything and the owner demanded that they pay for something they couldnt and didn’t even eat. Will never come here again and I warn anyone with allergies to pass on this Mexican restaurant or it could be FATAL.

Do not order for pick up! When you actually sit and eat in the food is great, hot, large portions, and the atmosphere is friendly. BUT when you order for take out- the food is cold, smaller in portion, and tastes as though it was prepared days beforehand and just pulled from a freezer and reheated before sending it out the door with watered-down salsa.

Horrible food good service they guy who took my order was polite and friendly. I ordered to go and was soo disappointed once I got home fajitas were very greasy tortillas tasted like mold. The ixtapa in lake Stevens has always been so good I just discovered this one in lynnwood a week ago. I will continue to make the drive to lake Stevens.

Had not been in for several years after unpleasant experiences but decided to give it another try and glad we did. Staff is friendly and food very good. Cant beat .99 taco Mondays and Tuesdays. If its been a while do give it a try you wont be sorry, a great reasonably priced neighborhood Mexican restaurant.

Food is OK. Not incredibly authentic. Nice portion but poorly priced fits lunch special. $13 for a lunch burrito is nothing special. Also if you order take out be prepared to find your own utensils and napkin as they are not included. My only reason for that second star is that the staff was friendly.

I didnt eat ,didnt touch what I oder (no meter which reason ) , my reason was i didnt like how meal was cooked . So guess what ?! I still paid for that . Bullshit. It is the 1st restaurant in my life when I paid for food which I didnt eat . And owner was very rude. No no no , never again.

Visiting from Bellingham, and though its a wee bit pricey, I would eat here again in a heartbeat! I had a Burrito Fajita Vegetales (sin queso y crema), and it was superb—reminded me of my youth and my family. I recommend Ixtapa for anyone looking for tasty Mexican food in this part of Lynnwood.

Really bad service for people with allergies. Please dont come here if you have a special request. The food had an allergen in it and manager made us pay even though he took the order with the waiter. I tried to express the importance of keeping food "safe".

You cant go wrong with Ixtapa. The food is authentic Mexican cooking and my family loves this place! We usually go on Saturday evening together, just to chill and enjoy good Mexican home-style food.

Excellent Tortilla soup that is unlike any I have eaten. Crave it!! Excellent service too (but not in the bar, the lady bartender is lazy)
