When we crave pizza, the answer has been Italian Family for about the past year, but the last two visits have me questioning my choice. Where we once always found great quality and people who really cared about their customers, the past two visits have been between mediocre and just plain bad. Service - still friendly, but they seemed to care more about socializing with each other and what time they could leave rather than checking on the customers - this was between 6 - 8pm each time, not like it was just before closing. Again, really friendly people, just not very interested in making sure the guests were taken care of. Food - the salad went from tasty and fresh to water-logged and tasteless. Yes, I am very glad that the lettuce has been washed, but putting it in the bowl sopping wet and throwing on a few random pizza veg toppings just makes a soupy mess, not a good salad! It was NOT like this before. Pizza was just really sloppy both times even though they were not at all busy. Take the extra minute to put the sauce evenly on the pizza so it doesnt get completely soaked in one area and bare in the other. Then break up those huge chunks of onion before you slap them on (again only on one side for some reason) no one wants GIANT chunks of raw onion on their pizza. Again - it wasnt like this before. I dont know if the manager has been out for the past few weeks or what, but it has been really disappointing. Ill still give them a 3/5 because I know they are WAY better than the recent experiences indicate, but Im on the lookout for another favorite pizza joint.

This large 23" pizza is yuuuuge. When you see it, you know its going to be a great pizza. Its fantastic. All the other pizza places, maybe they tried to make a pizza so big, but they couldnt do it. Total losers. Italian Family Pizza makes the biggest pizzas. The best pizzas. Its true. Everyone agrees. Nobody makes pizzas as big as they do. This pizza, its so big, you can even see it from the moon. Look at that pizza. Is that a small pizza? I guarantee theres no problem... with the size of their pizza. Anyway, I know a lot about pizza. Believe me. I have a lot of friends who like pizza. Great friends. Very smart friends. Very many friends. Like, seriously smart friends. And all the one star reviews are unfair. People are saying they didnt like the pizza. Its a bad opinion, I hate to tell you. But they are very, very unfair. And they know theyre unfair. Its a crooked system. Its a rigged system. Sad! From now on, its going to be only eat pizza first. Pizza first. Then, we can all start winning again... or not.

Love, love, LOVE this place!! I cant tell what I enjoyed more: the most delicious pizza I have literally ever had, or the absolutely fantastic experience and wonderful people working there. All together, the entire experience was so fun. Seriously some of the best new york style pizza Ive ever tasted. We ordered a bottle of wine with dinner, and even that was good! It reminded us of the wine we used to have on our honeymoon in Rome. Joe (or Giuseppe) was the best! He made that place so fun! I asked for his name because I wanted to leave a review about how great he was, he really made the whole experience fun. He had the whole restaurant smiling. The place was packed with families and couples, and everybody having a blast. Im so glad we discovered this place and I cant wait to go back!

Some business colleagues were in town and I took them downtown to explore some of the Seattle sights. After the Underground Tour we were hungry so I pulled out my Google Machine to see what was nearby and Italian Family Pizza showed up. We all agreed that pizza sounded good so we walked about 6 blocks or so to Italian Family Pizza. As it turns out, we couldnt have made a better choice. Upon walking into the place we were greeted by Joe who was first class! He treated us like family and we had the biggest pizza we had ever seen. The food was awesome, the atmosphere created by the employees was awesome, and I cant wait to take my family back there. Thanks Joe!

We received a coupon for pizza in our mailbox and decided why not check it out.Turns out it is now my favorite place for delivery. ou can order online and specify what kind of pizza you want down to the half. I.e. You can make a pizza with half garlic oil with vegan cheese while the other half contains regular mozzarella and tomato sauce. Its a bit complicated but the best part is, if you make a complicated pizza, a friendly pizza employee will call to make sure they are making exactly what you want! Other things that make me love this pizza are the option for whole wheat crust as well as fresh basil and cilantro at no extra cost!

TL;DR - The staff was super friendly, food was excellent, and the environment there was very positive. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for delicious pizza at a good price. My co-worker and I are always looking for new places to eat, and today we discovered this gem not too far from our office. The pizzas were made in less than 10 minutes and were excellent. I got a few toppings on my pizza, and they piled the toppings on =) The crust was really good--you could tell it was made fresh--and it was nice and thin in the East Coast style.

The restaurant lighting is really bad, the music is way too loud. The service took WAY too long and on top of that the menu is flawed, why should there be such a huge gap between smaller and bigger pizzas. Not only that but the place looks freaking ghetto with holes in the wall. As for the pizza youre receiving cardboard with cheese and sauce which is pretty goopy and disgusting. Place is pretty overrated and I wouldnt be surprised if a large portion of these reviews are from people who work there to make it look better.

Pizza was cardboard with cheese on it. I paid $35 for a large pizza with pepperoni and you would think with a 23" pizza it would be large slices of pepperoni for an extra $3.50 but nope tiny little pieces smaller than a bottle cap. They didnt even cut it all the way I had to finish cutting it myself. The menu the google info links to says a large pizza is $21 and a small is $7 but when you call a large is more like $28 and a small is $9. What gives? Such a let down. guess ill be sticking with MADD Pizza. #letdown

Super nice people (belated review) My son is 10 with severe autism I went here after a walk with my mom and her boyfriend. We sat and my son was antsy being in a new place. I was worried about not being welcomed due to some rude stares from another patron. However the owners wife came over and visited made us feel very welcome despite another patrons rude glaring. As soon as the pizza came my son was in heaven the pie was GINORMOUS! The happy "nom nom nom" sounds from my son was totally worth it!

I never had pizza like this in NY. The flavor was good but the rest was incredibly soggy. When I tried to pick up the first piece, it fell over and I had to catch the cheese before it all fell off. Paying extra for an ingredient and seeing very few examples of that ingredient was annoying. A scant amount of sauce with an over abundance of cheese which was why the weight caused the slice to disintegrate after attempting to pick it up. With a bit of tweaking, this could be a very good pizza.
