Since the average rating for this place has more to do with the former place, the China Star, so I am giving it a full five stars in order to pull up their average. I saw the new signage for Full House Chinese Cuisine and thought I would check to see if it had improved. It has!!!!! Forget the China Star folks, this evidently has a new chef, the food was really good. It was still very quiet and void of a lot of customers, probably a combination of the old places reputation, and somehow needing better signage out by Meeker. I was impressed from the sweet and sour soup, very tasty. I ordered their sesame chicken, it came with and egg roll and a couple of pieces of BBQ pork, and I chose the fried rice. The egg roll and the sweet sauce (plum?? dont know) with their egg roll was yummy, lots of flavor. The BBQ seemed like it was made their, it was moist and warm, I could have used a few more pieces though. The fried rice was good, and the sesame chicken......oh my....wonderful. If you have stayed away from the old place, please go back and give the Full House Chinese Cuisine a try. It would be good to go back and see it crowded, though they may get a lot of take out and delivery too.

The food is delicious! It makes me really sad that the service is so frikin terrible. With NO ONE IN THE RESTERAUNT it takes forever to get seated. They pay no attention to their customers at all and constantly are making a rukus and screaming at eachother in the kitchen. The kitchen is disgusting and disturbs me that my food comes from there! The only waitress they have is about 105 years old and speaks barely any english. My bf and I ordered the SAME EXACT thing and she repeated our order (in some language that was barely english) for about 10 minutes over again. Ive been there multiple times because the food tastes alright and I have always gotten more then one refill. The old crazy bat who doesnt speak english told me only one refill when I have always gotten 3-4 because I like my food spicy. She was just tired of actually getting me refills, so doesnt speak english or get orders correct ANNND LAZY? Wth. Stay clear of the place despite what people say. If you must order from them, the only way is to go (which will probably take as long as if you were to eat inside the resteraunt anyways).

I was staying at the Best Western and this place was right next door literally. I was very nervous about ordering at first because it does appear to be a hole in the wall kind of place. And lets face it, THAT could be a disaster! Well much to my surprise this place was awesome! What it lacks for in looks it makes up for in service and taste. I happen to be on a strict diet of very little fats so I explained that to the server. Now thinking that she was going to laugh in my face, because after all it IS Chinese food, she replied "We make everything to order so we can make it however you like." I was impressed. So I ordered the Hot & Spicy Chicken steamed and then tossed in a sauce rather then cooked in oil and woked and they readily and happily complied. When they brought it out it was made to perfection. Steamed and was still so full of flavor. The price is right especially because I not only have dinner but I have plenty for lunch tomorrow. So my personal advice is.... Give this little place a shot. You too might be pleasantly surprised. PS The Hot & Sour soup.... The BEST!!!!

So my wife and I decided to try a different restaurant from our usual favorites. After pondering a while where to eat we remembered a grand opening sign of this place during our drives so we figured we give it a shot. Gotta say this is one our best decision yet. We went in and we were shocked to see how clean and nice this place was. Has a nice view of the golf course which was a plus for a nice calm relaxing dinner for us. The server Jenny was very nice and professional. We ordered the family dinner C for two which consists of - soup, egg rolls, Bbq pork, rice or for $2 more fried rice, Sesame Chicken and Happy Family Sizzler plus a side dish of Honey Walnut Shrimp. The food was quick, Fresh and amazingly delicious

After living in the Seattle area for college and professional school, I have tried more than a few Chinese restaurants. Nonetheless, in my opinion, China Star is among one of the BEST Chinese restaurants in the area. China Star has consistently excellent quality each time I have been there (each time was due to flying here to visit friends). It was voted Best Chinese Restaurant in the Seattle area 2007, and for good reason. Clean and friendly atmosphere. If China Star was located in an upscale downtown Seattle hotel, the food served would not be out of place. Prices are relatively reasonable as well. Eat there, you will not regret it.

My husband and I are now regulars of China Star. We love the food, the servers and owners are extremely nice and welcoming. My husband is very very picky about his Chinese food and since we got married and moved to Kent last August, this is the ONLY Chinese place we will now go to. Im not kidding, the food is absolutely worth the money and the lunch or dinner prices are EXTREMELY affordable for anyone! Not too sure why they have a lounge, thats a little weird to us, however for a smal Chinese place, this is by far the best around! DESERVES THE RATING IT GOT ON CITY SEARCH THIS YEAR. NUMBER 1!!!

Bad. I Let them know what I wanted from there menu online with price and it came out $18. And change. I made my call and order and it came out $45.and change I tried and a ask for a manager and she said she was, she told me that they had 2 other sites that had the right price, i argued the point with her that its false advertisement and she just studderd i was over by then Btw I just worked 13 hrs and wasnt up for bs and might have been an ass but for gosh sake know what you are selling on line and change the price I found them by Google

My husband told me te condition of their kitchen which was beside the bathroom. It was disgusting. The service was horrible. Old lady was the only waiter and she was running around not speaking any English. She was repeating everything and still got the orders wrong. We waited ten minutes before being seated when there was no wait. The food was really bad. I could have done better blind folded. Dont waste your money. We spent 35 dollars and I wished I had gone to Burger King!

We stopped here on our way back north and it didnt disappoint. The potstickers and Mongolian beef were particularly delightful. The beef was tender, had the right flavor and the white noodles underneath were crunchy and not soggy. The hot and sour soup was OK but the cabbage and lack of shiitake mushrooms made it just OK for me. The chicken lo mein was also good too. We will go back if ever in the area again.
