I had to buy two lunches today. I was craving a Cuban sandwich called a Lechón Sandwich. On Sol Foods menu it says it comes with Slow roasted pork topped with sauteed onions, succulent chicaron (which I assume to mean chicharrón) and provolone on a telera roll. The fries were old oil soaked and vile. Even ketchup did not cover the old oil soaked taste. Sandwich was bland bread filled with dry sour pork with an acrid flavor (that I still can not get out of my mouth that is watering in preparation for vomiting) and a few spare grilled onions and topped with melted provolone(the only decent thing). Completely absent was crisp pork skin, the thing that makes a Lechón Sandwich. I asked the server, who was otherwise ok, if my sandwich was supposed to have fried pork rind, she hand me open it and pointed to a fatty piece of roast pork. Wrong. She then offered to take my 1/4 eaten sandwich back to the kitchen to toss some fried pork rind on it. I was charged full price for eating less than 1/4 of my plate. I bought a to go meal on my drive home. I do not recommend to anyone.

So we got there and was told the back patio area was closed. Okay, no big deal well sit in the front outside. After our server room or order, we waited patiently for our tapas appetizer. About 5 minutes later he dropped off an order of fried plantains. We are them. He then brought of tapas plate and said "I brought those too you by mistake." We ate our tapas waiting for of main dishes. When the main dishes came, we asked for some hot sauce and the server left. In the meantime, I noticed my fries are ice cold. Clearly our plates had been sitting. We also noticed that he did not bring the black beans we ordered. I waited another minute and then went inside to let them knows about the fries, beans and hot sauce. Now there were 2 couple in the main resturuant and us. The server comes off and tell him the problem. He says to me, "I have the tables out back too." thats funny because the back patio was closed. Anyway, service was sub pat and food was okay. Sadly we will not return.

Service was great. Waitress was nice. Menu did not have any pictures resulting in my party ordering food we could only textualy understand. Drinks were okay. Dinner plates were fair priced. Im only giving 2 stars because the 2 people I went with did not like there food as well. I ordered the jerk chicken. It was breast pounded flat, which I hate, and it had really no seasoning or flavor. Never had jerk chicken that had no men seasoning intact it was not blackened or seasoned other then salt. Would not go back for food but might stop in for a drink again.

One of my favorite dinner spots in the summer. I discovered this place way before it was popular (: But it has become so for very good reasons! The food is so fresh and full of flavor! And like I said during the summer you cant beat the courtyard out back where you and enjoy you meal outside with NO WIND! (I swear everywhere else I freeze half the time because we are so close to the water) So no amazing view out there but with the feeling and atmosphere of this little Spanish oasis, it isnt missed!

We love this place! During the Summer, sitting in the back court yard is like taking a mini vacation! We have had several different dishes, some better than others but that is just my taste. All of it is very high quality. They do not have a large staff, so a couple times the service has been a little slow but not unreasonably so, and the environment is so pleasant it isnt a burden to sit and sip your drink and soak it in. A definite favorite of our familys!

We were on our way north and needed food. Googled bar and grill in everett. Decided to give Sol a try. Wow! What a treat! Had the shrimp appetizer and the pork sandwich. Omg, fantastic! French fries were perfect too. Service was friendly and fast. Will definitely return when passing thru everett. But look forward to making a special trip just to come back to Sol. Loved it.

Love this place! A friend got a recommendation from a waitress at Woodfire Grill (2 stars at most) and told us about it. Next day, we headed over for some South American yumminess! The back patio has a great atmosphere and the food is delish! From the street, its a restaurant you may pass up... but dont judge this book by its cover. Step inside for some urban coolness and yum food.

Easily my favorite restaurant in the region. The staff is super friendly if a little overworked sometimes. The food is second to none and it was the mojitos coupled with the sunset motifs that got me through the dark days of medical school. Ill always appreciate the good memories and excellent meals had there with friends over the years.

My friends keep coming here for dinner/drinks because they meet up regularly downtown. The atmosphere is good, though it could be cleaner. About four or five times now, the service is slow, glasses are empty, and food takes 45min to get to the table. Servers still have their hands out for tips. Terrible. I wont be back.

Great service. Nice bar options. Local joint, awesome kinda mexican, cuban, caribbean like menu. Spicy is SPICY. ALSO, the best cheeseburger Ive had in a while. Ill be back for Taco Tuesday (all that is served on Tuesday is tacos-thus, TACO TUESDAY). Great location in center of Everett.

Some of the most amazing food I have ever had! Service was awesome, food came out quickly and the prices were fantastic for this quality of food. Our server Elaynee was awesome and gave us ideas of what to do while in town to top it off. Will definitely be back whenever we can!

Do only 2 people work here?! Went here on a Friday night and service was slow for every patron. 15+ minutes to get a drink and an hour to get a Cuban sandwich that was lacking?! I was late to the hockey game. If you have pressing engagements then this place is a no go.

Amazing food. Their sandwiches are excellent, the entrees are incredible, and the plantain chips are to die for! This is not the quickest or cheapest place, but their prices are fair, the service is always good, and the food has to be some of the best in town.

This place was great service was great, atmosphere was cool and the food and drinks get two thumbs up. However, if you are sensitive to spice..be careful of some of the menu items...even the salads can pack some heat. Ask your server if you are not sure.

Food took way too long, wasnt very good, and the Bloody Mary I had was almost pure tabasco sauce - totally overwhelmed all over flavor. The amount of time we spent waiting for our food majorly cut into our Pokemon Go hunting and it started raining.

Great place ..food is awesome, staff is friendly and helpful and prices are reasonable. Weve been here a few times with our dog, and really love the place. Looking forward to returning for some more South American treats, and well mixed drinks!
