Love Rookies! This place is the reason I bought my house. I was a bit hesitant to leave Capitol Hill after living in the comfort of the gay ghetto for over 10 years. My partner & I popped into Rookies after looking at a house & Joni greeted us. Joni was soo welcoming & didnt bat an eye at two guys who were obviously together showing up for dinner & drinks. The place was packed & she actually went out of her way to ask a group at a huge shared table if we could join them. After that visit we knew it was the neighborhood for us!

Honestly my biggest issue was the fact the service was slow even when they werent that busy. The food selection is limited but Im not faulting them for that it is a sports bar. I enjoyed the Bacon Blue Cheese Burger and fries they made for me on special order. The fries were nice and crispy and is waitress was friendly, but she only ever really paid attention to us if we were trying to get her attention which was frustrating. Maybe its just my qualms as a former server myself.

Last Friday.......I invited some co-workers who had not been to Rookies. They enjoyed themselves and want a return visit. They raved about the deep fried macn cheese and chix strips...and just about everything else that they ordered and that arrived at our table. The service was exceptional on a Seahawks vs. Packers pre-season game. The joint was "jumpin" and waiting lines for tables so it was packed. "Lori" was GREAT!!! This is my go to establishment. Thanks Rookies!

Have I really not rated Rookies yet? My partner and I are regulars. This place is great to kick back, eat some delicious American style food, grab a beer, and watch sports. Their brunch is awesome too, and who can pass up $5 Bloody Marys?! I would try to point at something you HAVE to try, but honestly I havent had anything there that I wouldnt eat again. Im currently working on learning all the staffs names :) Bonus: Pokestop and wall outlets!

We were here for breakfast. If we had had more time, we might have stood in line at a seemingly more popular restaurant down the street, but Rookies was quiet and convenient. The food was average quality, but it was satisfying. The waitress was friendly and attentive. The music was a bit loud to allow for much conversation, but overall it was a good experience.

I love coming to this place after practice with my team. Friendly folks, sporty atmosphere, interesting draft selection. Good happy hour for drinks, however I dont recommend most of the HH food. Chicken quesadilla and Grilled Cheese/Tomato Bisque are your best bets. The regular menu is great though, so you cant go wrong there.

Crossed themed and confused on its image. The service is horrible and if I decided to finish waiting past 30 minuets for a sandwich seemed sub par. The beer selection is exceptionally bland and generic as well. No darks other than Guinness in a can. This place is for people without culture, class, or taste.

What a great place! Great food and excellent service. The waitstaff was friendly and attentive, without hovering. The food arrived quickly and well prepared. The acoustics in the restaurant are such that you can hear the game, but still have a conversation at your table. This place is a home run!

Love this place. Great staff, especially Amy and Justin, who will make you feel welcome immediately. Lots of TVs for sports, so of course it can be crowded sometimes. Menu is not too large or too small; mainly sandwiches, burgers, salads, and a few other things like barbecue, tacos, and pasta.

The food is great! Kudos to the chef! One of the servers is always pleasant and great! BUT a server/?manager?...who must be related to the owner, is the WORST! I want to place our usual to go order but no longer feel comfortable because it has to go through her and she will know its ours.

Always a great experience. Service is friendly and always attentive. The food is always perfect. As a vegetarian, this is the only place Ive found that serves Field Roast burgers at no extra charge. I wish they did have a few more selections of beer. For a bar, it seems a bit limited.

This is hands down the best sports bar in Seattle. Above and beyond service with a grubbin menu!! The Nachos cant be beat! $5 Bloodys! The Ribs! Boom! You can see a TV from EVERY seat in the house. I just cant decide what I like better the ambiance or the decor. -Marshawn Lynch

Great crowd control during the Mayweather/McGregor fight. Staff held the line even though people were spilling out into the street. KUDOS to those working the door! You guys did a magnificent job keeping it legal. As a business owner, I wish I could tip you for THAT!

Ive always had good service! Theyre always willing to put on the game Im looking for. Drinks are good. Food is pretty good, their chicken strips arent amazing though and the waffle fries arent seasoned like you might expect. Everything else Ive had is good though!

Best place on earth! Beers are cheap and cold, drinks are good, 8 billion TVs and the food is absolutely redonkulous. Not your cheapo greasebomb bar food here, they got all kinds of amazing eats. My fav is the french dip and Bacon wrapped Jalapenos!

This is a nice cozy place. Gets really busy during football season trying to watch away games, so get there early. Ive had just about everything on there breakfast menu and everything has been delicious. Love, love their steak salad.

Great sports bar. Descent selection of beer on tap, burgers are good, including the veggie burger. The Gorgonzola waffle fries are really good. I like going here for watching Sounders games.

The food was good, but my waitress was kind of awkward around me. Its laid back though. If youre looking for a fancy place, go somewhere else. This is a bar/sports restaurant.

Rookies is always good. We frequent it and dont even like sports. The food is great and the beer selection goes against the Seattle grain of only carrying crappy tasting IPAs.

Very nice bar. Reasonable prices on drinks, the bartenders are nice and friendly gals, and its very clean. Plenty of TVS for watching sports. Quiet around the afternoon games.

Rookies is one of my favorite establishments in Columbia City. The entire crew at Rookies are terrific. I love to refer my friends there for game days and cold beer. A+

A bit over priced but they have a great selection of drinks and a cool little happy hour menu. Def go on Wednesdays as their happy hour menu is all day!

Good menu, the appetizers especially are great. Always super friendly service and they give you a water straight away without you having to ask for it!
