I walked into this restaurant and was greeted kindly by a host. I told him that I would be ordering to go- so he pointed me towards the to-go menus, and the to-go order line. So as Im looking over the TO-GO MENU; I see that they do indeed have their honey toast listed. Awesome; I always wanted to try it so me being on break from my externship it was the perfect time. So I tell the server thats what I want- she smiles and says okay. I then ask if its the one that also has strawberries; thats when she turned and said, yeah you cant order this to-go because we dont have a box for it, (thats big enough). My response: well Im going to eat it right away so Im not worried about the ice cream melting.. dont you guys have styrofoam containers? She said yeah; so I then I just asked if she could set it in their because Im going to eat it right away anyways. She then told me no, and then refused my service. Im mad because I dont know why a restaurant wouldnt just put it in the regular box to satisfy a paying customer; but what Im angry about is why the heck do you have it on the to-go menu if you cant order it to-go! Like come on wtf. Never will I even think about wasting my time by going to this place. Not to mention when she refused my service she just sat there and stared at me; instead of being like Im sorry or let me see if a manager has an idea about what we can do.

This is a fairly new restaurant, one thats an offshoot of the identically named one in Chinatown. As it only opened near the end of 2016, the cleanliness is high and everything is bright and airy. The actual food is decent, if inconsistent. Some dishes didnt have enough flavor (the duck feet, in the rectangular plate below, were not spicy enough despite a chili oil bath at the bottom of the plate), while others, such as the Zhajiang noodles, were too salty. Service is quick, but its also fairly clear that the servers are inexperienced, so be patient with them. One young lady delivered a different tables food to us as three guys chanted behind her, "Section B, not here! Section B, not here!" She finally got the memo and went off to the other section - but this was after a different guy had tried to give us the wrong plate as well. All in all, if youre in the Lake Hills area, this is probably one of the better Chinese places around. I thought it was merely average though, and considering that I live decently far away from it, might not come back.

A typical Taiwanese street food eatery. Has variety types of food. The place tries to offer too many dishes, but it cause negative effects. Cant be good on everything. The place has stylish decorations, great service, but is slow on serving food. We order 2 desserts, an oyster omelet, fried pork steak rice and Taiwanese beef noodles. We do not expect to get the authentic taste in Taiwan. Fry pork rice is good, which I would give it a 4 stars. Shaved ice is just okay with beans or with grass jelly flavor taste from prep can food (it can be improved). Beef noodle is so so. It is not okay for restraunant quality. When the noodles were served, the soup was cold and the noodles were soggy. So, I will skip the restraunant until it has improved. The food can be better but not there yet. Hope the restaurant can improve!

Delicious and reasonably priced, the food is the star of this little establishment. However, if you can suspend your western expectations you can ALSO look forward to the following authentic Asian experiences: - Insane wait during peak hours. If theres a queue it MUST be good, right? - Just-the-facts service. Theyre not there to be your friend! Be a good customer and have your order and/or concise questions ready! - Hints to leave after you are done eating if there is a queue. You bought food and service; not a space to chitchat. Move along. Its for the greater good! Pro tip: Weekend brunch hours are good for the impatient among us but only if you dont mind being seated near young children (as there is a library in the same complex).

OMG their honey toast desserts are SO BOMB! Highly highly recommend at least checking this place out. Lots of yummy dessert and sweets options. Plenty of seating space inside, nice large parking lot. The service was great, friendly, helpful staff. If youre looking for something cool and unique to bring someone special for a special occasion like a birthday or whatever, this is a good spot to try. The presentation on the honey toast desserts is definitely facebook or instagram post worthy. They also have the special hot ice cream which is also fab or if post worthy presentation, but a bit spendy for 1 scoop of ice cream. The honey toast is definitely large enough to split, you wouldnt want to take that on all by yourself.

The foods pretty good. Not 100% authentic but getting close! To all the lame comments about service, yah they arent too keen on service, but thats why the place is beautiful. It just makes you right at home. People, if you want to buy service for people to serve you, dont come to a Chinese restaurant. Kindly take your arrogant ass somewhere with the pretentious portions and overpriced cuisine. Peace :)

Seating tables is a little slow but food is great. EDIT: Dropping this to 2 stars as service is getting worse and worse. During my latest visit, I noticed every table/customer seemed upset because you really have to flag down the waiter/waitress and even then, sometimes calling them wont get their attention. Ba-wan (meatball wrap) is ALWAYS out. Im starting to suspect they dont even sell them anymore.

Good bubble tea and boba. The menu has lots of options and the popcorn chicken is great. They seem to often run out of popular items like cucumber salad. The fresh mango slush is surprisingly great and drink offerings overall are impressive. The egg drop soup seemed to be lacking in viscosity and flavor that I expected but perhaps thats just a different style.

This is a recently opened Taiwan style restaurant with quite some novelties on their menu. The quality of food depends on what you order, some are great (try their fancy toasts), some are just so so (i.e., hot spicy dip). The price is on the expensive side, and there is always a waiting line during peak dinning hours.

Still a lot of problems with this place. Table was filthy, waitress ignored us, many food options unavailable, and they messed up our order to boot. Steer clear of this place! Edit: Okay the toast is really amazing. I have to give them more stars for the toast. And I dont like amending my reviews.

Like their desserts especially the honey toast, good for 2-3 people, I can finish half of it if I were not full yet. Minus 1 star because I wait half hour for seating aand another 30 mins for the dessert, wait 10 mins to pay! Good to kill time!

Very very long wait. We waited 45 minutes on a Sunday around noon. The hostess scratched our name on the sign in sheet without having us seated. After we reminded her she gave us a very dirty look which made her face even uglier.

Great traditional TW street food option - some only found in this store. Love the broth of those. Awesome dessert option. Snow ice is a bit too sweet, but you can tell them to hold off on the syrup - then its wonderful
