Ive been waiting for a coffee shop like 5 Stones to come to the eastside! The moment my friend told me a new coffee shop was in town, I went to it the next day. There is seating inside, but from the two times ive been here, the seats are usually taken by people working/hanging out with friends. After looking at the pictures, I saw a good amount of pictures that had coffee on top of woodblocks. First thought that came to my head was - "Wow this is going to be a pretty hipster place". Well, it totes is hipster. haha. I mean the sign is even made of a giant plank of wood! Not that its a bad thing of course :) The coffee shop is very clean, cute and makes me really happy. The moment you walk in, you have the attention of the baristas/cashier, whom greet you with a giant smile! The drink that caught my eye was "The Missile". Its coffee + cream and... maple syrup? I had to try it! Good thing I did, because its my favorite drink from here! You can tell if coffee is good if it actually wakes you up. And man, after drinking this drink im WIDE AWAKE. I plan to come back here to try out the food. If youre around the area, check this place out!!

I come to 5 Stones as often as I can. Im an early bird, so not being open until 8am is a bummer, but well worth the wait. These folks know their coffee, and are happy to talk about it when theyre not slammed. The food is okay- theyre still fairly new and figuring out what sells/what works, so its not uncommon to get something one weekend, and come the next weekend, its been blacked out with sharpie on their paper menus. I have had the classic waffle and the cinnamon sugar toast. They seem to use either unsalted or very very lightly salted butter, which is a huge bummer. Whats the point of butter if you dont get the salty, rich goodness? Anyway, things not in the pastry case are made to order, so youll wait for your food. Id say its worth the wait. My favorite so far has been their signature Missile drink (cold brew, maple, and cream over ice), and their pumpkin spice latte is the best Ive had. Ill be back again and again!

Wow. So I go to a lot of coffee shops. Like a lot. All over the east side and in Seattle to look for a spot that I could call home. Certainly found it in 5 Stones. The atmosphere is phenomenal, everyone is so helpful and friendly. It feels like I am right at home. And the coffee is amazing. I have had my share of different coffees (being a barista myself) and their coffee blends are top notch. And dont get me started on their food. After a bad experience in the summer of 13 I have despised PB&J. But after I single bite of their sample I was hooked. 5 Stones and their incredible employee Marcus made me have a PB&J for lunch for the first time in 3 years. Flawless service Incredible menu Affordable prices 6/5

Love the atmosphere, the staff and the delicious drinks and food. The twice baked croissant is to die for. Just took a friend for the first time this evening. We were still visiting when they were cleaning and closing up, but they were kind enough to let is keep visiting until their staff meeting started. Ive been to other places where they practically toss us out the door when they are getting ready to close. I really appreciated the amazing team at 5 Stones and always leave feeling appreciated. So glad to have you in town!

One of the best coffee shops in the Northwest. The interior design is impeccable with service from the most delightful staff that will brighten your day. Every single cup of coffee has been singularly crafted for you with care and attention to detail. If the barista feels the shot they pulled was not perfect they will start again to ensure the best cup of coffee for you. Each pastry only makes the best match. The music enhances the inviting chill feel. You will not be disappointed visiting 5 Stones Coffee Co.

Right off the bat I was absolutely blow away by the friendly and inviting staff here. It isnt often that you find a coffee shop that has both quality people and fantastic coffee. 5 Stones is already securing its place as the best coffee spot in Redmond because of the character of its staff, the quality of its drinks (trust me, try "the missile"), its warm atmosphere, and the overall top-notch customer experience it provides. If you are anywhere near this place, you have got to check it out! 5 Stones = 5 Stars

I wish there were more stars to give. The decor is amazing and so refreshing. The food was delicious alright but it was also pretty. Thats right, I said pretty. The presentation was on point - a little honey jar and the wooden platter: so chic. I want to add and say - the person that gave a 3 star review clearly does not get the coffee shop culture in general and how is it ok to be so judgy?!?! I dont think that review belongs here tainting my most favorite coffee shop in the world!

On 3 different occasions I was told it would be 15 mins before my latte would be ready. Each time, there was only 6 coffees ahead of me. I cancelled my order on one occasion after waiting 20 mins for a latte. These guys need a second machine and need to learn how to expedite. I wont be going back even though they give me a freee voucher. Coffee was ok at best.

Five stones gets five stars. Good coffee. Friendly staff. Nice atmosphere. Only downside is that the place is a little cramped, and I really wish there were food selection for people eating clean. The food available is made with good, wholesome products and fresh breads, but I wish they had eggs. Try the seasonal fruit spreads and a specialty drink.

Friendly staff. Clean. Only visited 3 times over 4 months. Unfortunately the regular coffee is horrible tasting. Had to toss it each time. Too bad, its a close walk to the Transit Center. Guess I kept hoping it would get better. Maybe their fancier coffee flavors taste better? I wish this place well, hope they brew a better coffee someday.

great place for the absolutely hands down best coffee as compared to urban lounge, ladro, rococo, zoka, roy street, french bakery. a wide variety of quality teas. great selection of baked goods, popular almond and almont-chocolate croissant, double baked goods. pesto turkey sandwhich, avocado sandwhich. nice atmosphere original decor.

Good coffee, great fruit waffle (and I mean - great!). The missing star is for being very noisy, fairly small amount of space for a place as busy as they are. If youre looking for a nice quiet cafe to sit down at - this is NOT it, but if you dont mind the noise, limited seating and limited food items - this isnt half bad.

Great store! Great coffee ...but very very busy whenever I have gone. My favorite drink is their cold cappuccino which is amazing! *Would be 5 stars If it wasnt so hectic, which isnt helped by a very small floor space. A must to visit if you want great coffee or to sit outside on a gorgeous day.

Absolutely love this new Cafe. From the moment I I arrived, I was warmly welcomed by the staff and made to feel at home. Coffee was amazing, I tried the Stefano this time. So glad the eastside finally has a coffee shop worth spending my day at. :-) expect to see me here every week!
