It truly is sad that I felt the need to rate this pleasant place only 3 stars. With a group of 15 for graduation celebration, we were enjoying appetizers and the waitress was nice enough to clue us in that a 30 top was coming in and we should order soon. She then took all orders, including mine for the brisket platter. I specifically pointed out I wanted the platter with fries, beans and the -rolls-. Upon arrival of the food, a plate with a brisket sandwich and fries was handed to me. I said that it wasnt my order, to which the waitress replied, "You got the brisket sandwich, right?" I said, "No, maam, I ordered the platter with rolls." She finishes handing out the other plates around the table until theres just that one left. She tries to hand it to me again, I told her this was incorrect and that I ordered the platter. She thrusts the plate at me and says, "Uhm, yeah, you did." I was about to raise my voice but instead let it go so I didnt make a scene at my cousins graduation celebration. The sandwich was smaller than any other on the table and was cold. The fries were not only cold, but were cooked so much you could only taste the grease. The only saving piece on the plate were the beans. A family member insisted on telling the waitress that I was dissatisfied, but at that point not only was I disinterested, I was pissed off at the way I had been talked to by my waitress. Its a shame that this one person was so instrumental in making my first experience here so discouraging. All other staff were very friendly and inviting, and the appetizers were fabulous. In the future I will try the other location and hope for a different experience. I recommend that management train all staff that the customers satisfaction starts with the quality of service theyre provided. Had the waitress accepted that she made a mistake and rectified it, my review would reflect the lengths she went to provide fabulous customer service and would have landed this local favorite five stars instead of three. Her attitude towards me however made it very difficult to enjoy the atmosphere and family and friends. Looking forward to checking out the other location.

Ive been to County Grill many times before and would offer 5 stars, until my last experience. Heather was my friend & Is waitress on Tuesday night, November 1st. Ill make a list so its easy to read: 1. It took us 30 minutes to get our drinks from the time we sat down 2. It took us the same amount of time to even have a food order put in, to which we had to remind her before she walked away on us again to put it in. We were ready from the second we walked in to order. 3. When she took our order, I had to alter my order from exactly what I did last time so it would be easier on the kitchen because they "would get mad at her." If the minimum of sauces for wings on wing night is more than 2, make that a restaurant wide policy. 3. We both ordered salads, they were phenomenal (thats a plus) 4. 45 minutes later we finally receive our salads, not even our wing orders yet. At this point we were promised more cornbread which never came out for the rest of the time. 5. ONE HOUR AND FIVE MINUTES later I finally received MY wings, my friend didnt even receive hers until 10 minutes later. At this point, my salad has already settled in my stomach and I didnt have an appetite. 6. I asked for a box and walked out of the restaurant without even touching my cold wings. Youd think a manager would be sent over? Nope. 7. Asked for our checks, and she swiftly walks past our table, drops them on the table and says "Here ya go." and walks away. No have a good night? Okay. As you can tell, I dont think this woman is qualified to represent what County Grill actually stands for. In fact, our experience was so terrible that neither of us ever want to go back to this location. We thought wed try something new on our Tuesday wing night tradition by going to County Grill instead of another local restaurant, but that was a huge mistake. Poor, Slow, Rude, Terrible service. Please understand, a lot of customers will get mean and rude back, but thats not me. I was silent throughout this entire thing to give her the benefit of the doubt. Hands down it was the worst experience Ive ever had at a restaurant. #FireHeather

I was pleased with the service, the amount of food you get for the price, and the delicious cornbread.( Cracker Barrel would be better if they steal this recipe) The atmosphere is nice, a little loud, but this place is crowded every time I go, so no big deal. Seasoned fries (think Bo Jangles), warm potato salad (think Cracker Barrels hasbrown casserole, only better), bbq beans, (really baked beans with BBQ thrown in for seasoning, and very delicious). All their food is very flavorful and thats why people keep flocking to this place, me included. Brisket and BBQ meatloaf, so good. If you love BBQ, and you like to try different things, they have at least six different BBQ sauces at your table to dip to your pleasure. I am very proud to say they got Eastern Carolina sauce right. (Its best on pulled pork) just make sure you dont over do it, a little goes a long way. My favorite for ribs though, is still Kansas. Now Im sure youre wondering why all this praise and 4 stars? Food was great, but the ribs I got were cooked a little too fast, which made them tough, and not take in enough flavor, but again the rest was delicious and everyone else at the table enjoyed their meal. I highly recommend this place for the carnivore.

We decided to visit this place, because wanted some BBQ ribs. I picked it after reading good reviews. Weve got star spangled combo - it was huge amount of food (ribs, brisket and chicken plus 2 sides) for very good price. Plus they give you some corn bread muffins while you waiting for food. It takes reasonable time to get your meal and food is hot and fresh. They top up your soft drinks too. There is a bar area with various drinks (though I didnt check it out, so cant say anything about drinks). The meats were really good. The rib rack was real hit - I love the sauce they using. The client service was good. The interior is interesting and place looks clean. They have TVs where you can watch sports and I liked the music they played at the background. I would definitely come back here if I would live in area. If you visiting near by and like BBQ - you need to visit this place.

Came in twice. First time was on a recommendation and I got the meatloaf because the girls at the front said it was a must but was rather dry and breadfilled. Service was rather lacking also. Came in a second time because people said it might have just been an off night so tried again. Pork quesadilla was great but my friends wings were so so especially for the price. Sweet tea was bad and had to get new ones. Service was definitely lacking still. I dont know whats going on but definitely didnt live up to the name. Also keep your bbq sauces on the table full please...
