Not impressed. Food was good..service not so much. My mother asked for more kimchi, the waitress says we still have some left so when it runs out shell bring us more. It was about all gone, but regardless, if the customer wants more, it should be accomodated, dont treat us like children. She was stingy with napkins as well. Also when we checked out, I presented my gift card. It had $50.00 on it, never used it. Well it came up on their machine declined. The lady says its because theres no money on it. I called the card company right then and there, I tried to let her listen on the phone as it was saying there was 50.00 on it. Instead of telling me that the card is used up, she should have said for whatever reason, your card is coming up declined. That would have been a better approach dealing with the customer. Either she didnt know what she was doing with my card or their card machine is old or bad. I used it at a gas station to fill up with no problem after leaving there. It was a bad experience. This is the first time ever I am writing a review. Thanks for reading!

Save the headache. No heat in the the restaurant in March when its 35 degrees out. Im Korean and the server was rude and sarcastic. Asked if a certain dish had an ingredient and she told me to look at the menu. New mgmt, new menu , bare decor and pretty expensive compared to other Korean restaurant in the area. Would not accommodate when asked if we could get the seafood & beef tofu soup without seafood which was mediocre at best. 15 min after waiting and no side dishes / banchan at a Korean restaurant is pretty darn bad. When the banchan finally did come out it was bare minimum. Severs couldnt remember who ordered what. Rice porridge was more like rice in hot water with poorly minced vegetables . Kalbi dol sot ( kalbi with with veggies in a bit stone pot was also bleh

If you do not want to venture into Annandale, this is a great place for Korean food in quiet Fairfax. Plenty of parking. Traffic is not as hectic as Annandale. First, the place is very clean. Utensils and serving dishes are clean, simple and elegant. Second, variety of side dishes/condiments (ban-chan) is very good, clean, fresh, and well-prepared. Third, main dishes are pretty good. BBQ meats and mixed vegetables that come with them are also fresh. Fourth, the service is friendly and prompt. Fifth, prices are comparable to other restaurants in the area. I highly recommend Mee-Ga for folks living in western Fairfax and outside the beltway who do not want to drive into Annandale.

I have been here many times, usually with a group of people, of which several know Korean and know what to order. Last time I went for the first time with a friend of mine who had never had Korean BBQ. The waitress was wonderful, she helped with suggestions and reminded me what it was I knew I wanted. The food is always great, and its quiet enough you can have a decent conversation. I will continue to go there to get my Korean BBQ fix!!! (and my friend is ready to go again, he loved it too!)

Felt like having Korean for lunch, Googled, and noticed Mee Ga is close and highest rated. So I decided to try it. I wasnt disappointed. Good menu, reasonably priced, plentiful volume, and yummy. Its a strip mall, family owned, a neighborhood 4-Star restaurant. Its, good for a family outing, casual business lunch, and casual outing with friends. My acid test is "would I come back again?". The answer is "absolutely yes!"

A very nice surprise to find an excellent Korean BBQ in this kind of run down strip mall. I was greeted warmly and knew it was going to be good partly because it was rather busy with other Koreans. The assorted side dishes that came out with the bulgogi were delightful. The meat was flavored very well. Just a note, there are no lunch specials on the weekend. I would definitely go back.

terrible & terrible Under new management... There is no hope so far. My family went there last week and we ordered some ribs and Nangmyun. After that, We felt like we were careless from there list. table was empty until I was asked water, napkins, spoon, chop sticks & side dishes for every each time. Whatever reason there waitress service was bad and rude. Im not go there any more.

it has good atmosphere and great service. the new owner did some reconstruction and its so much cleaner and brighter than before. the food is good and im allergic to ramen seasoning and other manufactured seasoning flavors and whenever i eat at other places i tend to get hives but here i can tell its good quality food and ingredients because i never have that problem.

They only paid attention to their own kind. If you are Korean and speaks their language, good for you. If not, service will be nonexistent. Expensive, mediocre food is not worth it. There are lots of Korean BBQ in the area to choose from. Save your benjamins and go somewhere else where they can speak and understand basic English.

The marinated short rib (galbi) and the spicy cold noodle combo was by far the best tasting in all of Maryland and Virginia and at a bargain price!! The atmosphere is nice and modern and quality of food was excellent. A definitely a goto Korean BBQ place!
