BEST BBQ Around. Great Value, overstuffed sandwiches. You put your own sauce on your bbq, so I dont know how someone could complain that everything was smothered in gravy or sauce unless you ordered it that way. There are two negative things and it still gets 5 stars. The months/days/hours of operation and service can be slow, but its not fast food. Your french fries are made to order. Its only open from 11AM-5PM on Fri-Sun from Spring-Fall. This makes for long lines and long waits. I waited 45 minutes for my sandwich today but it was worth it. I saw they have call ahead ordering now, Ill try that next time.

Hubby and I brought Mom for lunch today. It was our first time and I told hubby that the thing that really stinks about Frontier Bar BQ is that Ill never want to go anywhere else for barbecue in the area. Everything was awesome, even though it was cold outside and they have only overhead coverage in their seating areas. The ribs were fantastic, the beef brisket was to die for, the pulled pork was great and hubby just loved the yardbird. Even the tortilla soup was delicious - just the right amount of heat and very tasty. We love you, Frontier! And were already planning who well bring the next time we visit.

My husband and I have been eating at this place since we first moved to PA in 2004. High quality food that is worth every penny! I love the Hillbilly Sundae with is a choice of meat, baked beans, and coleslaw. The sandwiches are excellent as well if youre looking for something less complex.The grillmasters and people behind the counter always have a smile for you and make sure you enjoy yourself. Dont feel bad if you cant finish the whole sandwich, it tastes just as good on the reheat. On rib days be sure to get there early or call ahead, they go fast. Worth the jaunt if you are in the area.

Excellent food and service. I ate here 3 times in a week. Food was consistent and they were quick. Its outside dining with rustic style pavilions which would be awesome in the warmer months. Even in the winter though, if youre looking to rid of some cabin fever, come out and sit by the fire with a cup of cocoa and hot chili. Id recommend the Bullhawg sandwich. Hard to find good bbq this far north but theyre making it happen.

A real gem. Very good food, good prices, and shockingly fast service! So fast that sometimes they finish the order before I finish getting napkins, straws, and BBQ sauce for the family! It has a very nice shaded area with picnic tables to eat at. The shade plus a nearby creek seem to drop the temperatures to nice and cool, even on a hot day. Bring cash as it is cash only!

Great BBQ joint, the ribs are fall off the bone perfect, and the pulled is really good as well. The customer service is very good as well. Do note its cash only, and only open during the weekend. On super nice days, do not think theyll have ribs just lying around at the end of the day, they HIGHLY RECOMMEND calling to reserve your racks ahead of time.

This place is AWESOME! Great vibe, live music and the BBQ is some of the best I have ever had anywhere in the US. The only problem is they are never opened when you are having the craving. PLEASE stay open on weekdays!!!!! If you have never been you need to! Make sure you know when they are open though.

Amazing fall of fthe bone ribs that are freaking delish!!! This was our first time here and we found it on Google Maps looking for a restaurant on our way back home. The pictures sold us on it and we dont regret it. Just make sure you have cash. They dont take credit/check/debit.

We tried this place once and found no reason to go back. Too bad because I had high hopes since I love BBQ and live close enough to walk there. The food was okay, but overpriced and the portions were skimpy. If I want to spend that kind of money, ill go to a nicer place.

My Husband and I stop here often in the summer. Really good food!! They also have good entertainment at times. This place makes you feel as if your on a wonderful pic-nic with family, friends, and nature. Just an all around great place.

Amazing barbeque that is definitely well priced for what you get. The sandwiches are delicious, perfectly smoked. The 5$ chicken halves on Sundays are amazing, the best Ive ever had. Over all, definitely worth stopping at.

Worst food ever. Not much of an option for anything, everything is mixed in gravy or bbq sauce. The sandwiches have hardly any meat on them for the price. Deffinately do not recommend this place.
