Good food but no consistency. I ordered shrimp hibachi last time and it came with soup and salad. This time I ordered it expecting to get soup and they didnt give it to me. When I asked them for my soup they said it didnt come with it and that they probably gave it to me for free last time because they were trying to get rid of it.

We came on a Sunday evening and found the place virtually empty. The miso soup was excellent and had much more flavor than other places. We had the sweet, Virginia, and spicy titanic rolls, which all turned out to be quite similar to each other but were still pretty good.

I dont understand why this place isnt busier. They have the best spicy tuna roll Ive had in a very long time and an amazing lunch special. The decor is charming and the service is fast and friendly. You can tell these owners love what they do.

Hands down best sushi and negimake in the area, making it no longer necessary to drive to Cville for dinner. Quality authentic Japanese cuisine. Wonderful service. Consistently positive experience and Ive been eating there for 2 years.

The sushi served here is typical of bargain or buffet sushi. Although acceptable in taste it was not at an acceptable price for the quality. If Im paying $10.50 or $13 per roll I do not want ground up fish rolled up in a long skinny roll.

Slow service. Had to ask for refils on drinks. Ordered spicy tuna, spicy salmon, and spicy California. Had more crunch than fish. Couldnt taste the difference between the salmon and tuna. Servings way to small for the price. Never again.

If you want Japanese go to Masaki in Staunton. Masaki is GREAT! The hibachi chicken here is more the quality of drive through Japanese. It tastes like a frozen meal. Very sticky rice-- not fried. Will not eat here again.
