Today was our second time here and will no longer eat here again. The first time we went was right after they opened and thought that the issues were because they had just opened, but after today, that was not the case. When we arrived it was a little past 1 p.m. and we were asked if a table was ok (for a family of five), which was fine until we sat down and realized that the table was way to small for 5 people. The table rocked every time you moved something on your plate or when you reach for chips. The second issue we had was with our server, Vences, V. (thats what was on our check). We ordered a Molcajete and asked for a box when the food came out so we could box half of it up and take it home. He said ok. Our server brought out our food, and he forgot the box. Then he made a comment that if he knew we were going to take half home then he could have boxed it. We asked three times for tortillas (that were suppose to come out with my meal) before someone brought them to us and it was a different server. As we were eating, my husband was not happy with his meal. He ordered the Burrito Deluxe Dinner. He was not happy because it was gross! There was spaghetti sauce on his burrito. I am sure if it was "suppose" to be salsa or what. It was not good. The last issue that we had was with the Nacho Supreme. Which is what my two kids ate. They dont eat jalapenos so I asked for no, jalapenos, but I didnt realize that they were only getting chips, cheese from a can, chicken and lettuce. I would have ordered them something different because it was more of a salad with no flavor. This is a very nice looking restaurant, very clean and the fresh guacamole is yummy. Other than that, its not work the money. I can go else for better.

This place has gone downhill. Used to love it, but this was the last straw. My lunch taco salad is now served on a tiny shell with no cheese. My husbands phillysteak burrito had the tiniest pieces of meat in it and disappointing peppers. No cheese inside, just a cheese sauce on top. My daughters steak quesadilla had over a half cup of onions in it. Sad thing she had strips of steak in hers that they could have used in the burrito. Weve seen too many short changing of the food coming out, does not compare to what had been served her in the past. Not returning after these last 2 visits.

My mom, my grandmother-in-law and I went here for lunch one afternoon, the food was delicious! They are SO quick... we had about an hour before I had to leave for work and were finished eating in about 45 minutes from the time we sat down! Our drinks arrived just a few minutes after sitting down and our food arrived JUST after we started munching on chips! Love their fast and friendly service. You never have to ask for a refill and the prices are reasonable!

I just went in for drinks at the bar and some chips and salsa. The salsa was def lacking something. The wine was warm, so the first glass he poured over ice the second glass, I guess he just didnt care anymore and didnt ice it so it was warm. Then we ordered a shot of rum, I usually sip my shots cause they are to strong for me to chug, but this I could chug it tasted like water. So its safe to assume they water down their alcohol. Not worth it!

Food was great and very generous portions especially sour cream. Wait staff was very friendly and attentive. What really sets this place apart is the kids menu. Usually when I go to a Mexican restaurant the kids menu has two or three things on it this menu is extensive had what kids like to eat. My son got the burrito and taco and it was delicious and he ate every bit. Would definitely go to this restaurant again.

This is pretty typical Mexican fare for this area. There is really nothing bad about Plaza Azteca, but there isnt anything really great about it either. The food is pretty typical nothing really stands out as unique - that said, the food is always fairly good. The service can be hit or miss. Sometimes your server is really polite and friendly and attentive - other times you never get a drink refill.

My friend and I just had dinner here. Our waitress Anny asked us to leave bc they had a waiting list. Im sure her manager sent her to be the messenger. Looked around and several tables were empty. Thats terrible customer service to ask your paying customers to leave. Food was good but smothered in peppers and onions....only a Lil chicken and rice. Peach margaritas were delicious!!

We ordered guacamole & it was $9. It was a huge size but we quickly learned why. They advertised it as "table side" but brought it out from the back. It definitely had Mayo or sour cream in it. My husband and I make guacamole at home all the time and the taste was completely off. The rest of the food is generally okay and wait staff can be hit or miss.

Weve only been twice the food is good but the portion size is not! We ate here last night & ordered the OMG Nachos. I was very disappointed in what I received. I got 10 chips...yes 10! When I see nachos I assume its a plate of nachos not 10 chips. I left still hungry & probably will stick with our regular restaurant.

Great atmosphere, food is good value and quality, especially the lunch menu. Margaritas are very pricey, actually costing more than the meal itself. Service is usually fast unless its peak times then expect a longer wait, the free chips and salsa help with that though. Will definitely be back for lunch!

Up to date location. Walked in and was amazed. The music selection was good. Service was great and I had my favorite drink, jumbo Margarita on the rocks, if you are use to the location on Holland, swing by here and give it a shot. And it stays open later during the week. Come check it out

The absolute worst Mexican restaurant hands down. The service is horrid and if youre lucky enough to get a waiter/waitress within 20 minutes, youve probably lost your appetite. Save your time and money and go to Taco Bell. Even the bar is a mess.

This place is awful I rather go to taco bell the food taste like they had it sitting in Tupperware for weeks I had a buddy of mine thats a executive chef in boston and he threw up 2 minutes after he ate the food Im glad trump is president

My experience (9/8/2015) was excellent. Service was excellent; food the same. Will be back with family. The supervisor/manager, Mr. Salvador Garcia was extremely nice and open to me. My family had an excellent experience on 9/10/2015.

Came here for Table side Guacamole, they dont make it here at this location. Had a good experience at the Williamsburg location with table side guacamole, so sad they dont have it here. Food was good otherwise.

The amazing host, Moses, brought me to my booth and we stayed until close. The food was still amazing even though the kitchen was starting to close and I might go back a third time sometime soon.
