Was a fan of R&R before it moved to its current location. It was at white marsh mall prior, and that was when I first enjoyed their food. Ive visited it at its new and current location, and I must say the food is as great as I remember it, all with a nice sit down area that has been well cleaned and maintained each time Ive been. Dont expect anything too close chipotle or qdoba, which are basically americanized and mainstream Mexican food spots. R&R has more of an authentic Mexican cuisine, and with it comes much variety. Just as an example, the selection of meats alone is "limited" to 9 different types. There are only a couple things I would mark this restaurant down for. One is that only a handful of employees speak English fluently, and it is a bit of a challenge when one who does not is on the register taking your order. Nevertheless, they are all very polite and good with service, so I cant be too upset with a bit of a language barrier. The other doesnt bother me in particular, but people I have been with have said that although they really enjoyed the food, it was a little heavy on the stomach. But I say it comes with the territory. After all, its not a salad bar. I would recommend R&R to anyone looking for Mexican food that is not as generic as the mainstream spots, or anyone looking for a good place to get a quick bite for lunch.

After eating 1/2 of my meal and washing it down with a totally flat diet coke, I transferred my beans and rice into a to-go container - there were SEVERAL black hairs which remained on the plate. Those hairs were UNDER my beans the entire time I was eating them. When I showed the plate/hairs to the manager - he spoke in Spanish to the cook and an older Spanish gentleman - showing them the plate/hairs. They just shrugged and made faces. No apologies. No refund. No acknowledgement of the sheer and utter disgusting situation. My hair is platiunum blonde. The entire staff there had black hair. I am still nauseous hours later. $30 for the worst dining experience of my life. All leftovers were tossed in their trash cans before we left. I wish there was an option for -5 stars. EAT AT YOUR OWN RISK!! Grossed out AF.

When we called to order, they were unfortunately out of the first two items we wanted to try, chile relleno and mole sauce for the enchiladas. The food that we did end up ordering was tasty and the portion sizes were great. We had plenty of leftovers. The homemade chips, salsa and queso were delicious, but be aware that the standard red sauce is fairly spicy depending on what youre used to. Overall it was a pleasant meal and well most likely come back again.

Food is good. Problem is the menu. Menu items are listed on a board with no descriptions so you have no idea what they are. They had several burritos listed, had to ask the guy behind the counter to describe the items. Would much prefer to be able to read the menu and decide. Also, while I was waiting, noticed that there is a bin with ice and bottles of soda behind the counter. Watched staff take ice from that bin and put it in drinks!! GROSS!

I visited this place based in reviews. Im not sure what the craze is about. It was filthy and the service was horrible. Tables were dirty as was the kitchen area. Also, those on the register were also cooking interchangeably. After waiting for 25 minutes, my food finally came out. It looked so unappetizing that I asked for my money back. I went next door to the Indian buffet and enjoyed a quick meal.

I was so excited to go and find out about this wonderful place, but my food wasnt what I call authentic Mexican food. Well, at least they can make tacos. Question; what is the aftertaste I ended up having in my throat. Its weird. And I hate to have breakfast without coffee. I mean, how about you ask for coffees and they say: oh we dont have it when you can see the coffee maker in front of you.

Best fish tacos that I have had in MD hands down! The bean and cheese pupusas were delicious and clearly made with love. As was the Tres Leche cake! My boyfriend got a platter with three meats (chicken, steak and chorizo) all amazing! He also enjoyed the fresh green salsa that was also made in house. Everyone was also so nice and helpful, I cant wait to go back, maybe for breakfast!

Finally some Authentic Mexican food! If your are fan real tastes of Mexico this is where to be. The food is fresh and the staff is super helpful if you dont understand there menu. Bold flavors and great balance for your money. Me and my wife had chicken tacos and frird ice cream and it was wonderful. I recommend a visit to anyone who is in the mood for some good eats!

While the food here is absolutely delicious, I would highly recommend not going here. On two different occasions, my roommate and I have both had food poisoning from here. The food here is not good enough to be worth the risk. In addition food is incredibly inconsistent from day to day, as it seems that the staff working that day makes it as they please.

Awesome food. I gave them 3 stars because the restaurant isnt always the cleanest. It seems like they are short staffed . Kudos for the focus on the kitchen but a quick sweep and wiping down tables would go a long way . 5 stars all the way if you are getting carry out.

I have been their costumer since they first opened in side the food court in White Marsh mall. I come constantly and their food is incredibly delicious. Their staff is always friendly. The owner and his sons are great. Love it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Authentic Mexican at it best! The folks at R&R are awesome super nice explained everything to me and my family since it was their first time eating Authentic Mexican food. Food so good I order extra of everything to take home ;-). Five Stars all the way!

Being from California I take Mexican food very seriously. This is the best and most authentic Mexican food Ive had on the east coast and Ive been here for over ten years. Do yourself a favor and get an entree and not just a burrito. Burritos are beginner.

Salsa is excellent, and the food is (almost) always good. Mid-week (I was told Wednesdays by the staff) the chef takes an evening off. Those are the only days where the food has not been excellent. Both the shrimp and steak tacos are awesome!

First time experience and food was amazing. Went back today, food tasted different alot more spicy and ever since I had the tacos I havent left the toilet. Stomach is super upset and feels like something is wrong. Wont go back again

As a local I want to say dont come here so the line stays short because frankly everyone who has been here once goes out of their way to return. From entrance to leaving with a satisfied belly it is hands down the best. Enjoy!
