Unimpressed. I went here before going to the Fulton. Location was convenient, but thats about the most positive thing. The "meat" burrito (I chose chicken), was 90+% rice and some whole and refried beans. You really had to look to find the chicken. Beyond that, the rice/bean mix was bland - there was no spice and it tasted like, well, like plain rice with some beans. The flour tortilla WAS good. And Service was OK. Id tell you that Ill try it again to see if some of the other menu items are better, but Ill just pass. My choice would be another Mexican restaurant a couple of blocks north. Im not plugging that other one, so Ill leave out the name. I have no connection to either one except as a customer when I go to Fulton Opera House.

One of the few good Mexican places in the Lancaster area. It is a small place, but I usually hit it between the usual meal times to avoid the rush. The food is all homemade, and all good, from tortas and burritos to tacos and platters. Tuesdays are tamale day, and you need to get your order in ahead of time so they dont run out. The guacamole is fresh and even the sauces are homemade. The owner, from Mexico, could not be a nicer woman. She always makes sure everything is good when I eat there. She also is a past Small Business Person of the Year winner from Lancaster County Magazine.

I grew up in southern California and I love Mexican food. This place is the best replacement for the Mexican places I am used to in CA. The tortes are great, the tamales are awesome and the people who work here are super nice. Fair prices. I love the Mexican soda and recommend the Mandarine flavor! Vegetarian and vegan friendly. Try the Mexican wedding cookies if they are available. Also, unlike other places that sell burritos in Lancaster, this place uses refried beans...the best kind of bean for an authentic burrito. I love this place!

We went to a "trendy" restaurant downtown, but it didnt feel comfortable and the hostess overlooked us and seated another group ahead of us. We walked down the street and stumbled onto this great spot. Good service and actually felt more intimate. The food was surprisingly authentic (Mexican cuisine in Lancaster PA?!). For the great price, we splurged on extra tamales to bring home.

Authentic and delicious! If youre looking for a Mexican restaurant with a hole in the wall feel, this is your place. The menu has a number of options and most are inexpensive. I give it a 4 star because the ingredients used arent as fresh as many other restaurants in Lancaster. But then again, I had a huge lunch for $6 so its nothing to really complain about.

Take it from a Mexican, its delish. After moving to Lancaster City I was getting a little homesick but then I found this place and it definitely substitutes for my mothers cooking. A casual little joint with big taste. You get treated great and it wasnt a long wait for the food. BYOB too, how could you go wrong?

Best Mexican food in Lancaster!! We have been going here since it opened over a decade ago and the food and service is always wonderful! Great vegan and healthy options and a cute atmosphere! Order the Torta de Papas without mayo if you want a vegan sandwich as big as your head!

This is the real deal! Great menu, great flavor, and great presentation. We had 4 in our party and each different dish was great. We are visiting, but plan to come back and eat, before we head back home to Virginia in the next four days.

Good authentic food. The food is always good and the place is clean. It is small so it can get pretty tight on Friday nights but otherwise this is one of my favorite Mexican restaurants in Lancaster. The service is always friendly.

Authentic Mexican. Small restaurant but its cozy. Waiters are kind. Only waited a while for food once but then they gave us a flan on the house. Amazing tortas. Makes me want to drive an hour and a half everyday to eat there.

One of the best Mexican restaurants in the area! The pricing is great, the food is traditional and very well priced, and the staff is very friendly. I highly recommend stopping in at this location for a nice hearty meal.

We came in looking forward to great food because of the reviews. Horrible horrible the food was cold and tasteless. Slow service and the girl looked a little lost. I would not go out of my way to dine in this restaurant.

My pork and tilapia tacos were tasty, but the carne asada taco was unexceptional. Service was harried and scattered and the kitchen appeared to be backed up. I waited almost half an hour for a very simple taco.

Horrible horrible service. Had to ask for our drinks numerous times. We sat there for over 35 minutes no one ever brought out the drinks or appetizers. Finally had enough and walked out. Horrible experience

We waited for an hour to get hour food and it wasnt very busy inside. I was given a very old looking bottle of peach soda that had fungus growi g in it. Other than those two things it was a great experience.

Amazing Mexican food! They do a great job here and it is very authentic. The place is small and crowded though so I would recommend going at an off-time vs. a peak time. I highly recommend this place!

This is a great place for Mexican food in Lancaster. The prices are fair and the food is great, nice flavors. This is a very small eatery, so the seating can be tight but its worth stopping by.

Some of the best Mexican I have had outside of California. By far the best I have had in Pennsylvania. My favorites are their horchata by the pitcher, and anything they serve with Chorizo.

Great Mexican food! Very good salsa (hot sauces) on the table. Unfortunately sometimes theyre a bit understaffed. I think they have outdoor seating in the back, but Ive never tried it.

Good authentic Mexican food. Very good quality and reasonable portion sizes. Food took a little while to come out but it was a fairly busy lunch hour. No complaints.

Food was delicious but the portions were so damn SMALL, rice and beans wouldve been appreciated! And our waiter couldve been more attentive as well. Not coming back

Great authentic food. Great service! If you dont like it, you dont like real Mexican food. If you had poor service, you probably didnt deserve good service.
