Deeply flawed menu, & had a server that obviously stuck up his nose that we didnt speak Spanish, because half our orders were wrong, even though we pointed out what we wanted on the menu. Im not a moron I know the difference between Chicken and Shrimp, it looks different and tastes different. Cant I still appreciate good Mexican food? And when we tried to tell him politely our orders were wrong he insisted they were right. To my first point, to be fair to him, at least for me, my meal for example, it literally has the exact same name on the menu for two dishes, one has chicken, one has shrimp, this is just idiotic. Either they need to change something in the POS system, or they need to make sure every dish has its own name. I noticed a few other similar issues when reviewing the menu, its pretty confusing for both server and patron, so even tho the food may be delicious, its pretty frustrating not getting what you ordered, feeling bad for asking for what you ordered and moreover being made to feel that "you dont know what you ordered"-instead of the admission it got lost in translation. My advice, food is delicious, but just be prepared to take whatever they serve you! Lol Also, if you want chips and salsa they wont give you a container for whats already on the table, seemed simple enough to me, but apparently not. Some common sense skills are needed here I think. Best service ever got here was at the Bar, Bartenders are excellent. Dont sit at a table its noisy and theyll blame you if your order is wrong. Sorry for the rant, if you read all this hope it helps!

Recently I dined at this restaurant. I was invited to dinner by a friend along with about 14 others. I know large parties can be a nightmare for the wait staff so I was prepared to be extra patient. First our large party...that did have a reservation..was put into a cramped space. We should have been in a spot with more room upstairs. This place is huge. Why were we put in a small space that made it hard for people to pass by and for us to move around? Next our orders were very mixed up. And our waiter, who was very nice mostly, did insist one of the diners ordered something she did not. She got irritated because she knew what she ordered. Please learn to never argue with your customer...just say youre sorry and make it right. She was actually given my order. Anyway..one of the waiters was very angry and I observed him muttering to himself. He stopped when he saw me watching him. No one at our table was angry or demanding...we were having fun. Lastly my card was charged for someone elses meal and they were charged for mine. I gave her the difference in cash. Yes we were a large party and that is chaotic in itself but I was left feeling things should have been handled better. A bright spot was the manager took several pictures for us..much appreciated. Please accommodate your guests appropriately based on the size of the group and be patient with your customers. We are paying to eat at your restaurant and could have gone some place else.

Es un lugar muy espectacular con muchas vista comida buena con barra espectacular en forma que si deseas sentarse afuera de ella lo puedes hacer además es el único sitio que te reserva los fines de semana y su servicio es diferente años demás mexicanos como !!! Guacamole fresco wings como aperitivo y lo mejor sus margaritas sampler que además ellos se atrevieron a sacar algo diferente also demás restaurantes y para cerrar diferentes postres con el toque de la casa un lugar familiar

Service was poor and the food is deceptive. I ordered their combo thing same as my mother. She specified she wanted a chicken quesadilla and got a huge chicken quesadilla (which she found a bone in). I just said I wanted the quesadilla assuming if there were options I would be asked. I got the smallest cheese quesadilla Ive ever seen. I asked the guy and he said the price is the same. I also ordered the soft taco and a burrito which are both very small. I can cover both with my hand. I just counted. I ate the taco in 5 bites. I asked the waiter for a box and he just held less than a foot in front of my face without saying a word and then ran off to another table. Go to the other Mexican restaurants if you want decent food or service for your money. I just paid $12 for maybe 1/2 the amount of food I could get from El Rodeo for around $9.

Try this El Rodeo for the first time today its horrible the food is truly right from a can and or a box the beef tips in the chimichangas were just boiled and chopped up no spices no flavor the guacamole tasted it was right out of a metal can and reminded me of pond sludge the rice that I ordered had the consistency of flavor of Styrofoam on the upside the restaurant itself is appealing. The service here is some of the worst Ive ever experienced no no welcome no smiles just let me get your order and throw it on the table having lived in the southwest for a long time you come to know real Tex-Mex Mexican. The only place in town that I know that seasons are stuff properly for correct flavor and makes mostly everything from scratch is Abuelos

I am not a fan of Mexican food. I had a grilled chicken salad. The presentation was beautiful, there were plenty of vegetables and Grilled Chicken on the plate, there was no dressing at all. I ended up using the salsa that was put on the table for the chips to add a little flavor to it. The onions and green peppers were Raw. There were a lot of them. I had one slice of tomato and a whole bunch of lettuce. In all fairness, there was almost an entire avocado on the plate. It was tasty enough but for $10, they could have added a few more tomatoes or the Cucumbers that were listed on the menu or dressing... the serving staff was exceptional. They were constantly checking on us to make sure that the food was okay.

Awful! I took my wife here because she likes mexican food and she was very disappointed. The service was awful. The waiter must have forgot we exsisted because he came to the table once and never came back. We then had to flag down another waiter. The new waiter forgot my wives tortillas that came with her meal. Then when we remined him it took thirty minutes for him to come back. Our check was messed up and we never got our drinks refilled. When the waiter was at the table he only spoke to my wife as if none of the rest of us mattered. Awful experience.

Everything my daughter ordered was wrong. The waitress took her plate and brought back a "new" one. She didnt want rice but the new plate still had rice one it. All that kitchen did was scrape the rice off and rewrap the food. She ordered beef and they sent chicken. When she talked to the manager, he kept interrupting and saying "what you want me to do?" He was very rude, never offered a discount. She asked for the number to call their main headquarters, they refused to give it to her. Needless to say, we WILL NOT be dining there again.
