El restaurant mexicano Los Reyes1 es fantástico. Una verdadera escuela para aprender el arte culinario mexicano. Su encargado "El Profesor" Hugo es un verdadero guía y formador. From the get go the service was very disturbing. Not certain if all the disgruntled workers were all on the same shift or what. No greetings. Having your chips and salsa thrown at you is not what I call an appealing experience. Order the Pollo Jalisco and was given what looked to be a very small and thin shoe insert. Rice and beans looked dried out like it had been sitting for awhile. The cheese sauce wasnt even mixed with the chorizo. Saw the same chip delivery girl give chips off of one table to another. Good luck people. Told the manager about everything and his reply was, "You want more chicken". I guess that was the only English he knew.

Stay away from Los Reyes as far as you can!!! My family eats Mexican food at least 3 times a week! If we order from here, they NEVER, EVER get my order right! Ive called to complain a few times and the time before last, I was placed on hold for 10 MINUTES waiting on a manager before they hung up on me! The food isnt that great either. Ive given them many chances and they fail each time! Dont wait your time! Take your business somewhere else!!!!! They are unreasonable and when I explain to them what is wrong, they make it sound like I am the fool! I will be telling everyone to stay far from this place!!!!!

We are so happy to have Los Reyes so close to our home. We love mexican food and have tried many different places throughout the Charleston area. Los Reyes has won our hearts, not only for the amazing food but the service is excellent. The chips, salsa and cheese are, by far, the best. Our favorite dish is the Burritos fundidos with chicken..... Yummy!! They also cater to our special request to burn the burrito. Lol Wait staff is on par but our favorite is Marisol. She knows our order by heart and treats us like family, with genuine interest in our satisfaction and overall well being.

Ordered 2 separate orders to go. I have eaten here MANY of times and never got the treatment I just received from the manager. Chips and salsa come with all orders. I had 2 separate orders. First order was a LARGE cheese dip. Second was tacos. My dinner was the cheese dip and the manager gave me a tiny tiny cup of salsa and a small bag of chips and tried to charge me $2.25 for a larger bag of chips and $2.25 for a cup of salsa. Why would a tiny bag of chips come with a large cheese dip ... REALLY???!!!! I will NEVER eat here again

We went here after a long day in the city because it was close by and had good ratings. We were highly disappointed. We both ordered water and were brought out water and a soda water. When we asked for the soda water to be changed to normal water the waiter was rude and gave attitude about it. We then order drinks and my margarita comes out. It tastes like a bud light strawberita poured over ice (and that is no compliment to strawberitas). We left without ordering food. Staff was rude and drinks werent great...

The service was great, we ( four of us total) were in and seated in about 10 minutes, the wait was only so long because of how popular the place is. The chips and salsa are very good and the main dishes remind me of fresh cooking in Mexico. The service was top notch, my glass never got half full and the workers were cheerful and altogether just fun to be around. 4 stars.

Not really impressed. My fajitas el dorado was severely overcooked to the point of being burnt. The rice had no flavor and looked like it was from a box. The cheese dip was runny and again had no flavor. The chips are very heavy corn and tasted stale. On a good note the margaritas were good and one of my friends said his cheesesteak burrito was really good.

I am so sorry we tried another Mexican restaurant nearby. Los Reyes is the best! Food is well prepared with care and freshness! The staff is always so friendly and happy to see us. Best place! Only place! Try anything with the verde sauce on it. Also, the rice is wonderful!

Food was gross. Second visit. Figured Id give it a second chance. Would of been better off going somewhere else. Food was bland, service was slow, the only plus side was outdoor seating. Save yourself the trouble and go across the street, youll enjoy your food more

The food was pretty good and came out super fast. The waiter didnt come back by the table until I was done and didnt look in my direction so I could get his attention either. Little pissed about that. Might just be that one waiter. Id try again.

We went in for lunch and were seated and had chips in our mouths in under 20 seconds. Drinks were filled, orders were taken, and the check was brought at exactly with wonderful timing. The food was also delicious and filling and a good price.

Hardest working servers Ive ever seen, they take your plate away the second youre finished! The food is OK but I really just love coming here for the outstanding customer service. Better choice than the other Mexican restaurants near by.

Service was quick but food was just ok. Ordered a cheeseburger and it came out being a sausage patty instead of beef. The salsa isnt very flavorful and the fries for the kids are thick and dry. The carne asada tacos were great tho

We started eating here once a week because this place has the BEST service. The food never dissapoints, the staff is very friendly, and it is also inexpensive! Happy hour drinks are offered, and there is a bar inside. Great place!

My wife and I have been coming here for years. Always fast service, chips and salsa and good Mexican food. The only negative things would be that the salsa is inconsistent...one week too spicy/hot next week perfect.

Went today for Cinco de Mayo. It was extremely busy as expected. Still got served pretty fast and the food was good. They were selling Margaritas outside which was great. Im sure Ill return in the future.

Very good chips and Salsa. They didnt let the drinks or the chips get empty at all. Food was well prepared and hot and tasty. All the staff were pleasant and attentive. We will be back.

Had the best strawberry margarita on the rocks made by the one and only talented Deon! Plus the service and food were phenomenal too we will definitely be coming back for more!!!
