While it may be a sight for sore eyes, the staff is indeed very friendly. This is your stereotypical "local" spot, complete with long time locals. Definitely caters to the senior crowd. With that being said the food is a bit mediocre. What would be more favorable for those old timers that like generic cooking. Not a wise choice for a breakfast date as due to cramp spaces you will be forced to listen to the loud voices and their opinions throughout your entire meal.

Been coming here for years, it was a date spot for me and my man in the beginning, now its ours sons favorite restaurant. The staff is always super friendly and amazing, the food is consistent and well priced. They have watched our son grow and always light up when they see him, they remember him and his Micky mouse pancakes order, and they treat everyone like family. Love this place.

We had a hot, hot walking tour of the Fredericksburg battlefield and I ran across the street afterwards to grab a quick bite for my little kids. This was a great little local diner with some friendly women taking orders and making food on an open grill. The service was super fast and they gave me a free iced tea.
