The food here is just wonderful! Excellent food, expertly prepared! The price was as expected for this quality. That said, on a second visit, I had to dine alone since my wife was out of town. I called and asked if they had room and explained that I was a single diner. When I arrived, the restaurant was nearly empty. There was only one other party and a couple of people at the bar. In spite of this, I was seated at the smallest two top right in the middle of the restaurant. Since it was a very small table and I would have preferred a window seat - and since the restaurant was essentially empty - I asked to be re-seated at a larger two top table next to a window. I was told that they expected a full restaurant that evening and couldnt honor my request. Two hours later, after finishing an excellent meal, I inquired with the manager about my seating request, since only one or two other parties had come in during the entire evening. Clearly they had no number of reservations that would have indicated a busy night. I pointed this out to the manager and also noted that I had only asked for another two top table. The manager clearly did not want to hear my complaint or discuss it. She then reluctantly comped a glass of wine. I do have to eat alone when my wife is out of town and I have a good memory for restaurants that treat single diners poorly. Unfortunately, this restaurant is one of them and is now off the list"!

This place is very intimate and decorated with Vintage Theater posters. Soothing music playing in the background quiet conversation between people. A well-stocked bar with a lovely selection of wine and hard alcohol . Had a whiskey sour that was made just right. Wonderful service without being too overbearing but attentive. The food is absolutely to die for. Being able to taste every intricate spice used with all the flavor to savor. The crab bisque is by far the best Ive had in Virginia Beach, everywhere else drowns it with too much Sherry. The duck was made so tender and moist with the skin perfectly crisp. Their in-house made chocolate mousse made my mouth water. The creme brulee caramelized top was cooked just right to have the right amount of smoky taste the didnt overpower it. The lemon sherbet sorbet had a wonderful sweet tart that gave me a good Zing. Everything about this place I absolutely adored I look forward to eating here again.

I wanted to try escargot for the first time and they have it here! It was definitely a positive dining experience! The restaurant is quite small but ambience was intimate and warm. The staff is nice and attentive. I felt that this restaurant catered to more of a mature palate or at least a sophisticated and adventurous one like mine. I ordered the escargot for the appetizer. For the entree, I ordered Gratin de Fruits de Mar (Seafood gratin). Everything was exquisite! This place knows their food and keen on details. Also, this place has a small parking lot and that could be an issue.

Very disappointed in this place. We made reservations but when we arrived we were told that the only place we could sit was right in front of the path were the staff came in and out of the kitchen although there were several tables that were empty along the walls and in more comfortable places. Thought this would be a nice place to take my wife for her birthday dinner but we ended up leaving rather quickly due to how uncomfortable we were. Its too bad really wanted to like this place.

From start to finish a wonderful experience. My wife was determined to celebrate her birthday with a piella Though it was on the menu we were told its seasonal. We made the most of it. The appetizer was a spicy crab. We dined on Shrimp Etufay and Bouilabaisse. With a couple of glasses of wine our palates were treated to a unexpected delight. The ambiance was warm and exciting. The wait staff knowledgeable. We look forward to returning often.

It is a small quaint establishment. With excellent decor and lighting. The service was top notch. The waiter was well versed in proper etiquette. He was familiar with the menu, and gave a great recommendation for a wine pairing with our meal. The food was delicious. From the first course all the way to the third. That being said this place is a must go.

I was invited here by a friend who said she always had trouble getting in because the place was packed. We decided to go mid afternoon during a week day and now we know why there is always a wait. I have ordered take out quite a few times since then. The staff is really great and pleasant. The food!...

Its been a few years since I last had dinner at Voila. And it was just as I remembered it, the food was amazing. Our waiter Greg was spot on! One thing I hate is when a server asks you how your meal is when you have a mouth fool of food, that never happened. Cant wait to go back!

The service was great. The appetizers were wonderful. The main courses were fantastic and creative. The service continued to be top notch and friendly all through the meal. When we left, our waitress thanked us and the owner came out and thanked us. We will return.

This restaurant is so quaint and relaxing. The food was delicious and the portions were more than enough. The prices were higher than average, but the quality of the food and service made up for that. The staff was very polite and helpful. Go there if you get a chance.

Amazing food. I am in the military and I have been eating in restaurants around the world and this place became one of my three best restaurants. The other two are in Dubai and New York. I strongly recommend this place to anyone who believes food is art.
