I Would give them Less but that isnt a option. These people are theives!!!!! I repeat Thieves!!!!!! I have lived in Va for 13 yrs but mostly up near Denbigh Area and I loved my Chinese food places up that way. Recently I moved on Jclyde and had a taste for Chinese food and ordered from this place. First off I thought they where a little high. I just ordered a general tao chicken meal and a 4 chicken wings meal. The guy charged me 16.10 I was like dang thats high but okay. I really liked there fast service, they where there in a like 5 min it seemed so I tiped the guy good. All together my food was 20 bucks for food in tip. Oh n I forgot to tell you that the driver wouldnt give me or let me see the recipe. I took my food and open it and the Rice was white as hell!!! Like what in the world, umm Im from the mid west we eat are rice brown. Then my General Tso chicken was dry and had no sauce on it. Nasty!!! N if your reading these phoney comments down here that say there good, they probably was paid to say it or friends of the owners. Okay so back to the fraudulent activity , so I say to myself this food is expensive for these two dishes. I look online and there 4chicken wing meal is 4.25 and there General tso is 8.50 I believe or a little less. This man is pocketing the money. He is a tall black man from the islands and he speaks with a ascent. Hes a theif and pocketing peoples money. Not thinking I gave this theif 4 extra dollars for my meals and a extra 4 as a tip because of fast service. Do NOT ORDER FROM THIS COKPANY. I AM CALLING THIS COMPANY IN FOR FRAUD. THEY ARE STEALING PEOPLES MONEY. THIS IS NOT THE WAY TO CONDUCT A BUSINESS.

First of all the person below needs to chill on the caps lock. So an error was made, correct it and move on, everyone makes mistakes. Now to my review, this place is freaking amazing. Hands down the best chinese food in the hampton roads area. They have everything you could want and its always piping hot when you get it (because they make it once you order, they dont have it sitting around all day becoming stale like others). Plus, they dont use MSG!

The food is nasty they dont seasoning chicken wings the T is nasty somebody order 19 wings and you get in one pack of duck sauce Chinese people so stingy mother f***** and then my child eat some of the food and got sick on that damn no season no flavor and nasty chicken and cant cook yall need to go out of business I hope yall read this review and get some cooking skills and then maybe somebody else and good reviews on yall food

I was not expecting to find good Chinese food in this nondescript strip mall while visiting the area. Pleasantly surprised. Great place for quick take outs. They also deliver. Run by nice polite Asian family. Food is authentic and well done. Nothing fancy but it hits the spot. Coming from SF where there is lots of competition for Asian take out places, I think these guys will even hold their own there.

Ok so I live right across the street and I have been there probably more then some of the people writing reviews the food is great I cant lie about that and if u dont take to long to pick it up they make a new one free of charge theyre delivery time may suffer because of the lack of drivers but other then that I would say its the best newport news have to offer as far as oriental take out

Food is ok. However the last time we went, we were told the total was 7.75. When we got in the store to pay, he said 7.90. When I gave him my card he slid it for 8.00. When I asked him why it had gone up he said credit card charge. When the final payment posted on my card it was for 10.00, even though I signed for 8.00 Very shady and cheating way to do business. I will never return.

Ordered a couple nights ago. Super cheap prices and delivery was fast for a weekend. The steamed dumplings were good, the crab rangoons were good, but rating 4 (closer to 3.5) stars because the sweet and sour chicken wasnt very good and the rest wasnt memorable. Would order again on a weekday instead of a weekend night to see if that makes a difference.

There are several words that describe New China Express: Great service, friendly people (everyone who works there), wonderful food (it is worth the drive to go get it as well as being an awesome neighborhood eatery)! As well, it is family friendly. If you are in the market for supporting local business, this is one stop you must make!

The food is good (4-5 stars), but the delivery guy is sketchy (-1 star). Recently, I was told that a $1 tip is not enough and more was expected. After reading Joseph Linebergers review Im glad I have always paid in cash. Too bad because this has been the best carry out place for Chinese I have found so far!

The food is really good here... Its like one of those round the way chinese joints.. I love the spicy shrimp fried rice... They make your food exactly how you ask them to... So thats a big plus for me. VERY FAST DELIVERY!!!! Great place to deliver form if you are out of town in a hotel close by...

Love the bourbon chicken. Their bourbon sauce is signature! Spicy shrimp fried rice is good too. And I always get sine egg rolls my kids love em too. NOT greasy! ! Oh and the house singapore Mei fun is great. .. Not to mention the staff is friendly!

The egg roll was grease drenched and the fried rice was strange tasting. Chinese ice tea was horrible. I was very disappointed based on the good reviews I read. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone.

I love this place, its THE BEST restaurant I have ordered from. Fast delivery and great taste, the driver was nice, so I gave him $5.00 Those people are very friendly and nice. I strongly recommend.

One of the few places where the Cashew Chicken is great. Chicken isnt gross. The environment is what youd expect from a Chinese place in a strip mall but the food is great.
