Good food and reasonable prices. When they get busy we just order drinks and converse while deciding our orders. Excellent for just walk up ice cream or shakes outside. Good parking. Inside has several eating sections, all clean. Restrooms are clean too. Service is good, always asked if wed like drinks refilled, etc. They do stay busy during peak morning hours so I expect waits, not a problem. Straws, condiments I can get up and help myself to if needed. I can also empty my own tray. The staff are efficient and courteous. They have a steady regulars crowd. We go up a few times monthly. Family friendly.

Id like to give this place a higher rating. It seems like a nice, cozy place for treats. However, they forgot our order, which was only a burger, a smoothie, and a shake. It was an entire hour until we received it after my husband complained. The place was very busy but 4 entire tables ordered after us, ate, and left before we did! We had 3 small kids so an hour wait was rather arduous. I think the place was just uncommonly busy and we were just a slip up. Food was okay. Nothing worth an hour wait however.

So we stopped by from out of town after doing the mine tours from the outside service windows you could see bugs on the inside by the windows which was gross but despite that, I got two scopes in a bowl coffee and chocolate marshmallow the coffee was subpar but the chocolate marshmallow was good at least the bite I took of it before finding a 4-6 inch blackish/grey hair in my ice cream pretty disgusting, wont be returning and couldnt even finish my ice cream.

Stopped here on my way back from a day trip to Centralia. The food was amazing but the staff seemed a little bit under trained. They were a bit slow to take orders and forgot to give out straws and condiments. Not a big deal though, and I would definitely come back again.

Mays Drive in was a nice visit. Located on Rt 61 in Ashland PA, just a short drive from Centralia. Open Daily at 7am, they serve breakfast, and lunch: sandwiches, soups, and all sorts of ice cream. we got the blizzard, prices were pretty fair. Ample parking.
