Do not go to Paragon Theater and/or Neo Restaurant Not being able to spend a lot of time with my kids because of my work, I bought tickets to see the new Moana movie. The wife and I hadn’t had dinner so we went to Neo to order some takeout beforehand. It was 6:57 pm when we ordered. Peter took our order which consisted of two chicken strip dinners and drinks (the Mrs. and I like to eat fancy). He asked us if we would like a buzzer and I said no, I would wait while the wife and kids go find their seats. Exactly 20 minutes later, I walked up to the host and asked the status of the food. Someone went back to check and came back to state that our order had not even been placed. How fitting that our server’s name was Peter as I realized then the depth of his betrayal of me. Now, the movie had already started by then, so I was a little upset about it. As someone who has worked in fast food for 6 years, I try not to complain, but I wanted to say something to the manager. They went and got him and he had a most majestic beard, the kind where he likely has to often tell ladies, “Excuse me but my eyes are up here.” I explained to him what happened and he then asked, “What do you want me to do about it?” Seeing as there were no trees around with which to employ his probably fierce lumberjacking skills, I said nothing, and decided to try my luck at the actual Paragon Theater concessions. At that time, it was about 10 minutes or so into the movie as the previews were done. I went and ordered two chicken strip baskets (it was a classy joint so they had chicken strips), popcorn for the kids, and a Dr. Pepper. Cody helped me out and gave me my popcorn and Dr. Pepper and told me to wait at the end of the counter for my chicken strips. So I did. And I waited. And I waited. About 7 or so minutes later, when another guy walked up and they handed him two chicken strips baskets, the concern on my face was showing. One of the others behind the counter asked me what I was waiting on. I said, “two baskets of chicken strips.” She looked to the guy who was working the chicken oven contraption and he looked confused. I said, “I ordered it from Cody” and pointed my finger towards the other side where he was, pointing as if in a lineup of suspects determining who committed this most foulest of crimes. The chicken oven guy again asked me, “What’d you have?” My immediate thought was, “Did Peter tell you to do this?” I calmly said, “Two chicken strip baskets” and pulled out my receipt to show him as my eye started to twitch. He went in the back and pulled out some more chicken strips from what appeared to be a fridge and plopped them into the oven. Five minutes later, I walked into the movie with those tender golden morsels of meat. The movie time was 7 pm and it was around 7:45 when I walked into the theater. By the end of it, I had spent around 80 dollars to be transported to a Mad Max-type environment where it was a fight to the death to get some freakin chicken strips.... And I won. But I will not be coming back, not even to see that manager’s glorious beard again.

Service was terrible. Bartender definitely had that "Im too cool for school" attitude, and the manager was right along with him essentially high fiving to their unprofessional work habits. The second bar tender who handed us over to mr. Cool guy only did so after waiting about 10 minutes to finally stop and ask us if we need anything. When we finally got someone to take our food order before the movie, he didnt write anything down(typical for a bartender), but his lack of attention told me right then our food was not coming out the way we ordered. Basically just got a "mhm yea mhm ok", and got walked away from prematurely feeling unsatisfied and worried about our food. Surprise surprise, mr. Cool guy didnt listen to a word we said. My gf ordered a cob salad no bacon and a couple add-ons with dressing on the side. We do not eat pork and of course to be expected our order was not put in right and they murdered her salad. Bacon all over it, and didnt even put dressing in the bag. Actually missed part of our movie because I had to go and wait even longer at this terrible bar to get our order corrected. Actually didnt even bother trying for a new salad just went to get her dressing. She picked the pork out and settled. I dont expect 5 star quality from a movie theatre bar and kitchen, which is why theyre getting 1. Exactly what they deserve. Oh and Neo HIRE PROFESSIONAL BAR TENDERS AND MANAGEMENT! I dont think you can afford any more bad reviews.

I would have provided ZERO stars had the option been available. The service was just awful. Me and my friend wanted to grab a nice dinner tonight and figured wed give it a shot. We were seated immediately by the kind host. Things went barreling downhill from there. We were brought our drinks and waited TWENTY MINUTES to have our orders taken. Follow that up with waiting for THIRTY MORE MINUTES for the food. And the food was eh, mediocre. And WAAAAY overpriced. Rice was dry. Fish was good, but not enough sauce. Massive plates with tiny portions. And getting our check was an entirely different story. THREE people walked out swearing under theirs breaths about the awful service in the duration of our 1 hour and 45 minute meal. The couple next to us waited 20 minutes to even get drinks. The worst of it? There are waitresses and employees just wandering around. They wont take orders from people unless they are at their "section" and will literally tell you that. All in all, I hated it. I will never go back to that location, or any other Neo for that matter. I highly recommend no one waste their time at this location, unless youre willing to overpay for mediocre and over-priced food and absolutely terrible service.

This place is pretty terrible. I have been here quite a few times as its technically connected to paragon theaters. I have eaten from here more than 5 times and every single time the host looks confused. I ALWAYS get greeted with "Uh...Hi...uh...Welcome to Neo Kitchen and Bar...." Are they sure they are in the right place and know where they work? The food takes sooooo long to come out from the kitchen. 25 -35 minutes for a burger in fries when the only people in there are 3 people at the bar and a couple who has already been served is a bit alarming to me. They get a 2 because the matinee burger and fries is amazing. I am not really a burger kind of person, but I was thoroughly impressed with the taste and presentation. However, the customer service is terrible and the wait is way too long. Having said that, it has been almost a year since I have eaten there. Maybe I will try it again someday and update my review but for now a 2 star rating is what I give them.
