Now I dont post 5 stars in many places simply because no place is perfect. However (comma) I hope my writings provide a detailed description of what I think to justify. If youre looking for a local place to eat with a homey or family oriented feel, good food and sincere service, then this is your place. A tight family all working together from the grandmothers in the kitchen, to the grandchildren bussing or waiting tables. The Bacon was cooked just right and the texture was just under crispy with a slight chewy feel. I had the eggs, pancakes, bacon, biscuits and gravy with coffee (hungry man). My wife had the poor boy with biscuits and gravy. The coffee was smooth and delicious. Although the waitress seemed like it may have been her first job, she still made up for it with sincerity. She just didnt seem comfortable during the rush. She kept bringing out everything for one person when there was the two of us. I dont blame her though, Ive been there. She was still sweet and sincere about it. I believe she was the one or two that were not part of the family. Despite that, I still highly recommend this spot.

Ahhh Yorkshire! Having eaten in small-town establishments all over the country, I can tell you Yorkshire is one of the finest. If you want a sterile, plastic-out-of-the-box chain place, you wont find it here. If it looks like the Civitans, the Kiwanis and Volunteer Fire Department meet for dinner in the back room -- you are right. This place is the heart of the community -- and has been for decades. Its where folks come to feel at home and eat good home cookin. No canned gravy, no frozen entrees -- this is home cooked. Try the chili and youll know. All the breakfast foods are great -- love the eggs, pancakes, western omelet and homefries with onion. Hamburgers are 1/2 lb and rival the best chains at half the price. Dinner specials are great and even the pizza is good. This is a very clean, recently remodeled LOCAL restaurant. (Health inspectors EAT here, not work here, silly.) Stop in for a cup of coffee and theyll remember you next time. Welcome home to Yorkshire.

Went for breakfast with my boyfriend. Service was ok, food came out literally 5 minutes after we ordered--too fast for any decent restaurant. I had the mushroom omelette and my boyfriend had the salty ham combo. His eggs were completely raw on top while the bottom was overcooked, mine were over cooked as well, mushrooms had the rubbery texture of ones that come from a can, hashbrowns were mushy and bland and the ham had no flavor. Waitress was nice, the man at the counter who rang us up was so unfriendly. This was by far the worst breakfast weve had.

Best breakfast in ALL of Manassas for decades and still going strong! Family owned and operated. Family atmosphere. Great value! Great portions! Great service! Great AMERICAN food! Breakfast served all day, oh yea! If you come on a weekend for breakfast its worth the wait!, and you will wait, its ALWAYS packed, cause they are awesome! Only fools would go to Islop, crapbarrel, or crappies. This is were the real, homemade, fresh food lives!

My girlfriend and I had never been but we read the reviews and decided to give it a shot. WOW! The service was incredible, the food was phenomenal, and the coffee was stellar! Plus I have never in my life been a fan of biscuits and gravy, but I am now! Yorkshire Restaurant is incredible! 5 Stars, 2 thumbs up, standing ovation, and whatever else you can give someone to say "job well done!"

A great mom and pop shop that is a staple in Manassas. There is a large space for plenty of seating and large groups are welcome. The food has always been fresh and the homemade biscuits are tasty. The staff is friendly and attentive and the restaurant is clean. Definitely give it a try the next time you are looking for a great hometown restaurant.

Feels so welcoming and the food reminds me of my Grandmas kitchen. Yorkshire is my most favorite restaurant. It also reminds me of a restaurant we have back home in Pennsylvania called The Train Station. Thank you for such a great place with terrific food that we as the people can come and enjoy ourselves in such a great astomphere. Love it.

Simply the Best family Restaurant anywhere in Prince William County. You feel like youre part of the family when youre there. Incredibly good food at a reasonable price and Hospitality Beyond any other. I would eat there three times a day if I had that opportunity. No more fast food for me, home cooked meals is what itll be.

If you like a great meat sandwich, there Top Hat is the best! My favorite sandwich in Manassas. The same people working there forever. Good family food. Go now and as much as possible this next year or 2 as it wont be open forever, unfortunately!!!! When grandma retires it will close!

Excellent food and lots of it. My teenage son, who normally eats a second breakfast, had more chicken fried steak than he could finish. I visited for the first time today and I finally understand why a friend has been a regular for nearly 20 years. (The coffee is excellent, too.)

Great place. I always get the corned beef hash breakfast with biscuits and a small side of gravy. Delicious! I take half home and have another meal the next day. Love this place. This is a family owned and operated restaurant and it shows in the quality. Dont miss breakfast here!

Got the Top Hat sandwich. Previously only ate breakfast items (it IS a dinner, after all). Very happy with the service and sandwich. Had a problem with the taste of the sweet corn and they made it right immediately with no fuss. Perfect. Will go here again.

DELICIOUS food. I cant recommend it enough. Our waitress was attentive and friendly, the back barn area is quaint and cute, and the other patrons friendly. It was very homey and tasty. The amount of food you get for the price is outstanding as well.

Good food and experience overall. No frills. I wouldnt go out of my way to come here but if I was in or nearby Clifton I know I could count on this place to give me a tasty meal. Clean environment, varied options for any palette on their menu. Solid!

Good was great . Will definitely come back for breakfast . The waiting is the only weird part . Once you enter and there is a wait no one really tells you anything until a table opens up . Other then that our waitress was very nice and helpful .

The best family restaurant in this side of town! Maybe a little pricey for the atmosphere but it doesnt matter. The food is incredible and the service is neighborly! Just actually a real enjoyable restaurant... but packed in the mornings!

The decor is a little shabby and when we walked in I wasnt too sure about the place. It looked like a place where you get really good home cooking or really bad. It was really good. Really good. It more than made up for the decor.
