I have never in life seen such a rude unprofessional owner..let me start by saying the place was dirty we sat at dirty table waitress didnt wipe it so we moved..no biggie..we ordered..waitress brought things out one at time ..including sugar THEN creamer for coffee then straws etc..no biggie ok then our plates missing fork toast grits..ww had to ask for fork 3 times..i was almost done eating by the time my husband git up to go ask AGAIN for fork..and toast grits . we asked 3 times. My son spilled soda waitress goes in back to get more.we hear the owner yell at her"I DONT CARE IF HE SPILLED IT DOUBLE CHARGE!!" ok now were done eating we cancel toast n grits..owner stormes out from back with toast n grits and we said calm and politely..we canceled that..she said WELL I ALLREADY MADE IT SO IF U DONT WANNA EAT IT THATS FINE!!...rude! ..if u have ur 15 yr old working for u and she isnt able to handle 4 tables AND keep the eating area clean. U CANT BE MEAN TO UR CUSTOMERS..ITS NOT OUR FAULT U ARE STRESSED OUT! I dont recommend this place.i never seen such rude person AND SHES THE OWNER#!! Hello ur customers hear u yelling about them..terrible

Run, run fast! We were misguided by the overall star rating. Worst experience ever. Asked more than 3 times for silverware. Had to eat my French toast with a knife as my kids shared a fork. When they forgot pieces of the meals we ordered had to remind the waitress multiple times. And the when they finally brought out the toast it was burnt so bad couldnt even eat it. I cant even describe all the terribleness. The sad part was you could tell the waitress was doing her best and overwhelmed but wouldnt go back to give second chance because food was burnt, missing or just disgusting.

Went for breakfast. Got the breakfast special. Waffle was excellent. Bacon, English muffin, eggs and had Browns were solid. On the minus side, there owner was behind a little cleaning up, and the floor was quite dirty. The owner was attentive and food was quick. I would come here again, because I like to support local business.

My daughter found this place the last time she came up to Kings dominion. So we went there for brunch. The prices are great! I got the western omelet and it was delicious. The kids liked their French toast will definitely be back when we are up this way again.

What a big delicious breakfast. Driving from Raleigh up to DC this was a good stop. Support a small business owner with a small town coffee shop feel stop in at Ashland Breakfast. Ask for Kelly.
