Let me tell you about this barbeque really quickly... Firstly; you should eat here. This is not ambiguous, contraversial, or debateable advicd. Eat food here. It will improve the quality of your life. I came here after our morning at Luray Caverns where we worked up a powerful hunger. I searched for food in the area and found Triple Crown BBQ with 4.9 stars. When we got there my surprise was that a 4.9 star location was a food truck. When we left my surprise was that this food truck is not rated 5 stars. I can only assume someone was writing a review while slipping into a meat-induced food coma and their thumbs slipped, causing them to rate it only 4 stars. They should be flayed in public. The food here was phenomenal. I dont use the word phenomenal here as a synonym for good, as is often the case. I use phenomenal in its actual context; the food here is a phenomenon.... It cannot be explained. There is no rational explanation for how good the food is. I ordered the sampler, which essentially amounted to a container full of various types of meat. The beef brisket was served cold and was delicious, the chicken was crisp and tender and mouth watering, the pork was brutally delicious and I would have given the place a five star rating based solely on these meats and the fantastic homemade BBQ sauces they provided (the sweet heart was a narrow favorite)... But then I had the ribs. Let me tell you about the ribs.... The meat didnt fall off the bone... The meat was as tender as melted butter. It was like they had carved the meat off the ribd, tenderised it with a baseball bat for nine innings, and then reattached it with pork fat for glue. They were impossibly delicious. They made me find my faith again. They rekindled my belief in the inherent goodness of mankind. I saw angels. These ribs were made from unicorn.. My girlfriend loved them. My girlfriend is a vegetarian. I cannot reccomend this joint highly enough. I almost shouldnt have to. Recommending this place is akin to recommending that someone breath oxygen; obvious to the point of futility. Eating here is a bucket list item. Eating here will bring us all closer to world peace. Eat here for your own good. Also the corn muffins were delicious

After visiting Luray caverns we stopped just down the street at an adorable BBQ stand with bright red umbrellas at picnic tables. We had the sampler and enjoyed all of it! We filled tiny cups with the beautiful array of sauces they provided, but we never used any of them because the tenderness and seasoning of everything was already perfect! We dipped our fork in the sauces out of curiosity and they were all delicious and distinct in their own way. The beans were yummy with pieces of bacon and slices of a few peaches to add to the sweetness. Ribs were caramelized and smoky finger lickin good, chicken was crisp outside and juicy inside, pulled pork was absolutely the most luscious weve had in years! The owner circled the outdoor seating area smiling to ask how our food was! ...the kind of southern hospitality that people like us from Philly would never expect from a tiny Roadside stop. Definitely stop in if you are in this area. If youre not hungry right then, grab some to go for later. You will be glad you did!

I tried the chicken and the beef sandwich......I didnt care for either. The beef sandwich is served cold (mistake), and the flavor just isnt good. The chicken is served slathered in a sauce that I just didnt like. The meat was OK though. Shame about the chicken.....they have several sauces to choose from at a self-serve station. They should let patrons pick their own sauce on the side. While I was there, I saw an employee shredding the BBQ pork- which looked and smelled GREAT!! I really regret not trying the pork instead of the beef/chicken. However, I look forward to going back next year during our annual camping trip and trying the pork. Staff, prices, location, and atmosphere were all good. I hope I dont discourage anyone from trying this place. Seems that most reviewers love it. I just picked a couple of menu items that didnt suit me. (and Im not a picky eater by any means).

We came here since my husband loves BBQ, food trucks, and five star reviews. This place did not disappoint! Just like they advertise, the meat is smoked daily and we were late to dinner so they were out of beef. No big deal, we knew the chances beforehand. We both ordered the pulled pork sandwich and corn rolls. The portion was hefty, the meat was tender, juicy and flavorful, and the sauces were great! The corn rolls though...OMG...I wanted to purchase all they had and bring them home to give my family as souvenirs (we are tourists). They were amazing!!! Like vanilla cake mix with corn bread mix topped with sugar. My husband had another side, either coleslaw or potato salad, I cant remember, and loved that as well. If we are ever down that way again, we will definitely stop...with a ton of tupperware to take home all the corn muffins.

OUTSTANDING!!! Myself and 6 other friends from Toronto went to Luray on the weekend to visit the caverns and afterwards stumbled upon this little BBQ spot off the main road. We were absolutely delighted with the quality and service that was offered and the food was to die for. Between us all we had the pulled pork sandwich, sliced steak sandwich, BBQ chicken, coleslaw, potatoe salad, beans, and corn bread. Hard to say what was the favourite because everything was delicious and perfectly cooked. The owner was extremely friendly and the atmosphere was clean and pleasant. Would definitely visit again and recommend to all friends and family. Thanks for showing us what true American hospitality is all about. Cheers!!

Absolutely amazing! Decently priced! We read about this place on trip advisor before our trip and Im glad it was on the top of our food bucket list for Luray. This is a small shack on the side of the road, they have picnic tables to eat at. I got the half chicken and my gf got the half rack of ribs, both were delicious. The owner checked on us twice while we ate and the whole staff was friendly. If youre a fan of pickles, I would highly recommend getting the dill pickle as a side. Sooo fresh, it was the best pickle Ive ever had. We even went back on our way out of town to pick up a few pickles and the owner remember us.

We stopped by this place on a family trip. The folks that run it are great and very friendly. You can tell that they care about what they are doing, because they sweat the small stuff. The baked beans which you would figure are just a throw away item, were great!! The potato salad was great!! The BBQ we had (pork, and chicken), were fantastic!! This is some of the best BBQ I have ever had!! Keep it up the good work, its nice to see people that actually care about what they are doing.

Real down to earth BBQ road-side. One of The best BBQ we ever had. It is an out door seating kind of place, so dont plan on proposing to your sweet heart unless shes that kind of romantic. We ordered a sampler to try all the meats, plus extra ribs and chicken. They were absolutely delicious and tender. No need for the knives not forks. The sides were great too. It would be even better if they had corn on the cob. The owner and staffs were very friendly.
