3 strikes and youre out! Back in 2003 when I first moved to the Sterling area, there was a Popeyes on 7 (at 47024 Harry Byrd Hwy Suite 100), not far from where this place is. One night on my way home from work I stopped by for some chicken. As I was placing my order, a roach ran across the counter right in front of me and the employee taking my order. The employee acted as though she didnt see it. I stopped in the middle of placing my order and just left. From that point on I got my Popeyes fix in Reston (if it was lunch) or made the trek out to the Ashburn location for dinner. I wasnt surprised when the old Popeyes on 7 shut down. So I was quite happy when I noticed Popeyes was giving it another go in the area. After months of waiting, the new Popeyes finally opened. My first visit, the line was 8 or maybe 9 cars long and it took well over 45 mins to get through the drive thru. On top of that, they gave me red beans & rice instead of cajun rice as one of my sides, and forgot the biscuits. I chalked it up to new store growing pains and decided to give them another chance a couple weeks later. This time the line was much shorter. Only 4 cars ahead of me. It still took 30 minutes to get my food. And this time I had spicy chicken instead of mild chicken, and red beans instead of mashed potatoes (so I ended up with rice and rice). I gave them one more chance last night. There was only one car in front of me (funny the way the line is getting shorter) so it didnt take long for a change. When I got home, my 12 piece family meal was 3 breasts, 3 drumsticks, and 7 wings. I can chalk the first two incidents up as "accidents" or "mistakes" but theres no way you put 7 wings in a 12 piece meal by mistake. That convinced me that the staff here really doesnt care about their customers. So its back to Ashburn I go. Unless some drastic staffing changes occur immediately at this location, I predict it will soon go the way of the previous Popeyes on 7 in Drainsville.

Absolutely terrible. My wife waited 40 minutes in line and they screwed up two out of three orders. totally inefficient and inaccurate service. She ordered a two piece spicy dark meat. They gave her a one piece white meat. She ordered me a two piece mild white meat with red beans and rice. Mine ended up being white meat, spicy, with fries. She ordered me a diet coke, they gave her a regular coke. Considering we waited about 9 months for this place to finally open up, this is a pretty piss poor start. My wife went back a second time a few days later and ordered a 3 chicken strips with mashed potatoes at the drive threw. She took the bag they gave her because she we in a hurry. Got home and found a ten piece meal with coleslaw and rice. Nice bonus for us (although my wife was still pissed about the mashed potatoes), but I am sure the person who was waiting for this meal was pretty upset. Really doing a terrible job serving customers. We were very excited to have Popeyes back, but this is a really poor start.

We were excited by the new and convenient location but ordering takes forever and something is ALWAYS wrong with our order. Wrong sides, spicy instead of mild, mild instead of spicy, missing biscuits, etc. One time we had to wait 20 minutes for them to fill the iced tea. Well be driving farther to go to location on Elden St. From now on because the service at that location is good. Maybe well try here again in a few months to see if they can ever get their act together.

This Popeyes alway gets the orders wrong, and they are not gracious about correcting their mistakes, they are very stingy. Observed the manager or owner wiping the dirty table with a dry napkin, I guess he thought that made it clean? Its disappointing to see that this Popeys (that took forever to open), is owned and run by the same people who owned the Popeyes one block up and was probably closed down due to poor cleanliness.

I was very excited that there was a popeyes that opened close to me during the day. When we finally had the chance to swing by and get some of the awesome chicken we were a bit, disappointed. Place was not organized and personnel was yelling at each other (and it was not even busy) None the less place needs improvement. A lot I may say. Maybe next time.

The worst Popeyes I have been to! They never have the deals that they announce through commercials. They take forever to get your food to you. They never have what you want stocked up. I dont understand why they even placed this restaurant there if I want Popeyes I will go out of my way to another location because the service here is just plain atrocious.

I try giving them a chance the first time food and service was horrible, but I thought maybe is just because they just opened, I went again and food and service still horrible the chicken tasted old, Cajun rice nasty I just think that if they dont pull their self together soon this place will be closing their doors sooner than later.. :-(

The food was great, but the soda was flat. Their carbonation machine must not be working. I hope they get it fixed soon. Otherwise, the food was great. The chicken was warm and tender, and the biscuit was delicious.

Im going to cut them some slack, as this location is brand new, but they do need to get up to speed quickly. The service is a bit slow and disorganized, but its part of the learning curve. At least the food was good.

Came to grab a quick bite and they closed 15 minutes early!! Lights turned off and everything even though 11pm is their shown closing time. Never had this happen at any other location. Ridiculous.

Terrible. I waited 20 minutes to go through the drive-thru and there were only two cars ahead of me. Inexcusable. And then when I got home, they had left something out of the order. Total FAIL.

Ordered tenders with shrimp combo and a sprite, tasted my soda and it tasted like watered down soda, got home only to realize there was no chicken in my box. Waste of money and time.
