Drinks = good, Specials = good, Wait Staff = good, Atmosphere = good, Food = NOT good. When I walked in it was very busy and people had drinks flowing everywhere, but I noticed nobody was eating. I should have taken that as a hint. I ordered a hamburger and tater-tots. The Tots were ok, its kid of hard to mess up tater-tots, but my hamburger was very bland and the meat seemed old and chewy, formerly frozen and just completely tasteless. The bun seemed like the kind youd get from a dollar store or something. I was starving cause I hadnt eatin all day and I ate the whole thing, but I will definitely never go back there for food. I would recommend eating at Houlihans attached to the crowne plaza hotel next door, then go to bar louie for drinks after.

Happy Hour (Beer only) review Happy Hour beer prices were very well priced at #3 a draft. The reason I am only awarding 3 stars is because of the beer lines. I ordered a Flying Dog Blood Line IPA (I have drank many many of these before) and well it tasted like bud light. I powered through the beer then asked for another IPA. This time I ordered the Lagunitas IPA. This beer again did not even taste like an IPA, but was better than the Flying Dog. I ordered one more Lagunitas IPA it tasted as it should. My guess is they do not know anything about cleaning out their tap lines and maybe that is why the HH beer is only $3. Staff was friendly. I did not try any food.

Horrible service, terrible food. Waited 30 minutes just to get a beer and order a burger. Our Waiter was rude and smelled strongly of body odor. Finally got the burger after being here for 45 minutes, and the burger is cold, not cooked properly, and without seasoning at all. Tastes like somebody thawed out a burger and put it on a piece of bread. The couple sitting across from us was here before we got here and after eating, and about to pay the check, they still do not have their meals. Horrible, and awful. Go to Wendys across the road if you want a burger for a quarter of the price that actually has taste

Bar Louie is a huge open bar concept with high exposed ceilings and garage door style windows which open when the weather is nice. They have a great happy hour specials but their food is your typical bar food, not bad but nothing special. Although.., any place that serves tater tots ranks high in my books. Overall Bar Louie is a great place to kick back and relax and meet friends out. With a seat yourself policy, there are plenty of high tables to choose from or find a spot around its large central bar. It was packed on a Friday but it wasnt long before we got a seat.

They have done an amazing job renovating the building, (previously Bertuccis) by adding garage doors to nowhere. Which essentially are huge garage doors that act as windows for one side of the entire restaurant. It creates a feel as if you are in a covered patio... Ive been calling it an indoor outdoor bar. The vibe here is amazing and they have done an excellent job staffing this brand new store with knowledgeable and outgoing servers/bartenders/managers and kitchen staff.. Definitely make this a place to visit, maybe even for their awesome happy hour!

Attractive place and interesting menu, but disappointing execution. I ordered Irish coffee (from the menu) here on a slow January Sunday. The first serving attempt took a very long time and resulted in coffee that may not have even been body temperature. The second try arrived after my fish and chips, so I really didnt enjoy it so much. The fish was nice and hot, but the "chips" (fries) had too much time to cool off. Rather than go here, cross the road to Worldgate and try one of the excellent restaurants there.

Went there on a Tuesday to try the $5 burgers. Hard to find a clean table. Looked at four tables before we found one that looked like it was clean. Had to use a napkin to clean the crumbs off the chairs. Took two tries to get clean silverware. Some of the wait staff seemed to be enamored by their smart phones. The place wasnt very busy and the staff congregated around the kitchen area. (Seemed to be the social area for the staff) Luckily our service was pretty good. Food was tasty.

As others have said, best happy hour deals around, beats RTC hands down. This one is definitely smaller than the Bar Louie at One Loudoun in Ashburn, this was a former Bertuccis location so thats the reason there, and onsite parking is at a premium, Wendys next door will tow you if you park in their spots. The Crown Plaza hotel behind it is lenient letting you park there, as is the Kohls parking garage, plus there is plenty of street parking on Parcher Ave.

Do not ever go here! Worst food ever! Everything tastes like it came right out of the freezer and stale. We ordered the voodoo chicken dinner and the chicken that came out wasnt even larger than a silver dollar. We asked them is this a correct potion and they said they would get the rest of the chicken and then said if we wanted a full portion chicken we could have it for a charge. Ummmm no thanks! We paid $13 for an already horrible meal.

Some of the worst bar service Ive ever experienced. The bartender was more interested in chatting with some girls on the far end of the bar than ever coming down to check on me. Waited 10 minutes for a glass of water; kitchen was very slow to get a simple late night food order out. Waited 40 minutes for a burger that looked like it was cooked for 40 seconds. The only decent local craft beer on the printed menu wasnt even available yet.

I visited on Thanksgiving with my Fiance. We didnt want to sit at the bar. We sat in an area away from everyone that had been cleaned by personnel. The bartender had come from behind the bar and assisted with all of our needs. This was EXCELLENT customer service seeing as though he had customers at the bar as well. The work/client relationship was outstanding at this location.

Food was delicious and came quick, but the staff was awful. Our server was rude and forgot who ordered what. She never checked if the food was okay. Only came by to give the check. She seemed put off when we asked for water in addition to our drinks. One persons food (just a burger) came 15 minutes after everyone else. The food was the only redeeming factor.

Great selection of rotating local beers on tap. Good happy hour deals on drinks and a limited selection of appetizers. Voodoo chicken portion was very disappointing (small), flavors were good. Meatball appetizer was average. Mussels were excellent and the jalapeños in the sauce added a great zing. Sesame chicken lettuce wrap was very tasty!

Will never go there again. The waiter charged more on my card than I authorized. I signed for $72.81 but they charged $84.81. When I tried to get it fixed, becuase I had no proof, (threw away my receipt, my fault) they would not check their records. Would not go unless you want Fradulant Charges on your cards.

Neighborhood tresure. Great food and drink. Some realy fun and tasty items on the menu. Lots of fusion kind of food. Consistantly friendly and responsive wait-staff and bartenders. A "must visit" if you are up for lunch or happy hour and happen to be in the Herndon VA, or nearby areas.
