Poor takeout service and a manager doesnt care about customers or repeat business. Weve gotten takeout there three times. I wont be going back. On 4/21, we had a takeout order of about $75 and they failed to give us three things wed ordered. I called to order the missing items plus an additional item and made a second trip to the restaurant, but they again left out one of the items! I asked the manager not to charge for the second order totaling $20, because of the inconvenience of making a second trip to correct their mistakes. Her reply was first to deny theyd made any mistakes, and then to blame me for not discovering their mistake before leaving the restaurant. I expressed my disappointment and agreed to pay the $20, but told her that I would not be coming back. Instead of expressing any regret over losing a customer, she reacted with obvious amusement. There are lots of good restaurants in NOVA--too many to waste money on one that doesnt value service or customers.

I dont normally write reviews but I have to say this was the worst experience at a restaurant Ive had in a long time. My boyfriend and I went to this restaurant around 7:30 on a Saturday night a week ago. He ordered the Shawarma sandwich and I ordered the Shawarma platter. His food came out within a decent amount of time and then we waited for my food to come out. The waitress came by about 5 mins later to say my food was on the way. It was 45 mins later and I still had no food. At this point, I no longer even wanted the food but told the waitress to box up the food once it was ready and bring the check. When the check came there was not even a discount. The waitress did apologize but told me shes not the cook and it really wasnt her fault. I really didnt want excuses at that point. I will not recommend this restaurant to anyone.

This is one of the BEST Lebnese Restaurant around. The food is at market price (Starting form $3 upto $20). Their Shwarma is GREAT (Both chicken and Beef/Lamb), Hummus and Baba Ghanoush rocks, and their Sheesh Tawooq is die for. Unlike most Middle Eastern Places, this place also has less expensive Kids Menu for kids (I got mini sheesh tawooq for my 6 year old, which comes with Fries and Hummus for just around $7). The owners are very friendly and they have appitizer like Zaatar, Jimna and Lahm Jimna. The ambiance is Posh (almost) and very clean. They also offer Shisha. There is a medium size middle eastern super market attached with the restuarant. MUST TRY!!! They also offer Hukka/Shisha, but only in the seatings outside the restuarant.

Dont let the negative reviews discourage you. This is a classy hookah bar, nice seats, nice furniture, nice hookahs and great food. Most people are complaining about the $15 a person policy thats actually only during peak hours. If you are going to a hookah bar and you dont plan on spending $15 or more a person, then you shouldnt even go to a hookah bar. Your best bet is Moes hookah down the street. I choose Sahara bc I love the environment and the owners are some of the nicest people you will meet. The food has never taken more than 10-15 mins max their drinks are awesome. If you want to be cheap then its not the spot for you, because you get what you pay for.

Went here last night. Food was really good and hookah had a good smoke. The one thing that had me shacking my head was $3.00 per can of coke. Really a $0.25 can for $3.00. I have heard of upcharging but that was ridiculus. I then asked for a refill and that was another $3.00. I dont even drink alcohol so spending that much on soda when I can literally go anywhere else and spend nothing for being a DD to $3.00 for all I can drink coke makes me want to go somewhere else. I had no problem for the price of food, hookah, or my wifes drinks that I paid for but not paying that much for one can of soda.

Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful!!! Sahara has been opened for 2 years and ever since theyve opened my husband and I have been frequent customers. Whenever I have company in town I take them to Sahara where the food and service ALWAYS make me proud of my choice in front of friends ;-) Sahara never fails to continue to impress me, and I will never fail them by always staying a loyal customer and a huge fan!!!

The food is OK, but the management is rude. They obviously do not know how to do business. We had a livingsocial coupon for $40 worth of food. We were four people and we order $45 worth of food, the manager did not want to honor the coupon but could not reject it but he made us feel he was doing us a favor. Needless to say that left a bad taste in our mouth (no pun intended). Never going there again,

Ive eaten at many Lebanese restaurants and this is probably the best. Ive been to Lebanese Taverna twice because it is closer to where I live, however Sahara is worth the drive. Great selection and I ordered the lamb kabob pomegranate and it was perfectly cooked and not fatty at all!!!! The staff is very friendly, the pita bread and hummus are delicious, and I plan on becoming a regular!

Four of my friends and I walked in on a Friday busy night and we were pleasantly surprised. We didnt know this place also has a full Lebanese restaurant with a full bar. Food was fresh & delicious and the fruit hookah in the smoking section next door was the best we ever had in a long time. Their DJ played awesome music and the belly dancer made everyone dance with her. Great find.

Very poor service; would not recommend. Everything is over priced and theres an 18% gratuity charge included on the check. Had a poor experience and left a 15% tip, only to be stopped by my server and told I HAD to pay the 18% gratuity fee. Food was mediocre and will never return. There are many better hookah lounges in the area. AVOID AT ALL COSTS

Visited this hookah lounge on saturday and my experience was more than great. I went to have just a drink and smoke hookah and walked out having some delicious recommendation from our server Katie, the mixed grill I believe, a must try! And not to mention they have a dancer that had the crowd up and dancing with her. Great experience!

This place doesnt deserve a star to be honest. One the owner is overall just plain mean. doesnt know how to communicate with customers policy or not. The servers start dancing and forget they have customers. The food took entirely too long. If you want a good time with good service and a pleasant manager DO NOT go here!

I love this place!!! The Lamb Kabob Pomegranate is a MUST try, I always order that with the Baba Ghanouge appetizer. They have everything, great food, full bar, best hookahs, DJs and Belly Dancing on the weekends, with a non-smoking section as well. Fun place with great ambiance!!!

I went boring with the gyro platter. My initial reaction to the menu was that it was very expensive, but once you see how much you receive that concern went away. Id go back if I lived within 5 miles and try out other things on the menu. The ingredients were fresh and delicious.
